Osisi, i am on your side on that. College degree, masters etc will never prevent me from entering the kitchen or keeping a neat home come what may am good at cooking and learning many oyinbo meals now to include in my culinary skills good thing too, my man can cook ![]() well, if they both can't cook i guess Macdonald and BK are there ![]() me thinks every one is valuable o don't use your belle to measure the value of a person ![]() |
oh i see, thanks for clarifying it. |
sometime last year, Oprah invited a couple with what they called 'mermaid baby' from i think south america. wow!! it was interesting to see this baby with mermaid like feet. there was no foot as both were joined to form what looked like a mermaid from waist down. it looked flappy too. the baby was brought to US for surgery. i was shocked. it looked like a baby mermaid and i saw why they called her that. i think they did the surgery to make her have feet. during that show i was thinking maybe in the past and ages gone there were something like that and parents ended up throwing such baby away who ended up growing by the seaside/adapt to sea life. who knows if that was where the idea of mermaid came from. |
this is funny. sometime ago, a friend and her fiance were coming to visit and we were on the phone as i was giving them direction. heard their dog barking and i was like why and what's going on? said they are locking the dog in the bathroom because if they left it behind, it shit all over the place in the house. my neigbor had to give her dog away because it was always shitting on their expensive couch. i once saw another neigbor leaving their dog outside when they were going out because it shit everywhere in the house. the dog was there in the rain, i was going out and saw it and felt pity. personally, i like puppy (poddle) but i think dogs smells and that put me off. if i have a dog or cat, am sure am going to be washing my hands a million times a day ![]() |
candle light for my uncle who passed Dec 26. Rest in Peace uncle Fran. |
you not alone. for a while now i observed i am free from them. what i did was whenever they write me which was so frequently before, i just click on reply and type ''ole, crook, crook, theif, theif, thief, barawo banza, if you write here again, am forwarding your email address to fbi and efcc they work together and they will fish you out wherever you are. i have warned you ole (i repeat ole and theif so many times and i put everything in big and bold mighty letters). i don't hear from them anymore lol. that is what they are and i tell them straight lol and had fun doing it ![]() |
using Red lipstick on their cheek ![]() |
oh i see, umm mommy and pastor Obed still there? wow!! that's great. i didn't graduate, left during my 2nd year ![]() |
That's right. sometime the situation made people to speak differently. when you speak with oyinbo and you say Water with the ''t'' they won't get you, it's like you saying Walter (as in a person's name here) you can as well speak on for the rest of the day for they won't get you, ![]() so to assimilate, people end up talking like them o. although some are worst . |
keeping my name too. i will hypenate ![]() |

There is this water yam with wonderful scent (note that there are different kinds of water yam). Nothing to add you posted the recipe exact way it's prepared. Wonder if i can ever come across that water yam in ilu oyinbo sha. |
