In view of the inconsistencies, errors, omissions and padding that characterised the 2016 Budget, it would be unpatriotic of NASS to forward the budget details without being extra-careful, meticulous and cautious in discharging its duties. This is to ensure we do not make same mistake that the executive made. This govt should have hit the ground running. Instead it took its time as though it had all the time in the world. Now they want the nass to rush and pass the nonsense budget that puts capital votes for aso rock clinic alone by far more than the combined capital votes of all federal tertiary health institutions. If you claim to be change then let's see change |

rapistbuhari: Imagine a sane mod closing down a thread with a valid source for this without a contex and source.
Back to the topic: our president is now A NIGERIAN IN DIASPORA.
Seems we should change nursery school song Fly away Peter..Fly away Paul!! to Fly away mallam, fly away mallam
A country that continues to have stinking garbage filled open sewers in its biggest city (Lagos) ..
A country where the majority of its citizens go to bed to sleep in the heat and in the dark ...
A country that is run on cheap noisy generating sets...
A country that cannot cap its gas flarings in the Niger-Delta , or stop barrels and barrels of crude oil seeping and leaking into its environment in both land and sea ..,,
Such a country just has no business attending a Nuclear Summit of any sort!!
Buhari na Agbaya!!
He is not remotely aware of how shameful his presence at such an event will be.
A small discreet delegation led by the Minister of Environment , purely as observers would have sufficed !! This guy has been pampered to feel like an emperor who treats his citizens as conquered subjects. I hope the media remains dumb like this when a sane President emerges |

codedguy1: There is something fundamentally wrong with us in this country. So it now the president wants to go thru the budget detail by detail after the Nass have passed it. So what exactly did the Nass pass and while the president is going thru the details of the already passed budget and finds a discrepancy he would justified to change it? A budgat that has already been passed.
He probably just rendered the Nass as an inconsequential entity inpassing this budget.
Or am I missing something here. You're not missing anything dear. This govt is so nauseating. |

pjecly: Try to elucidate simple write up With the help of TSA, FG were able to save 3trn naira. As a result of plugging loopholes and leakages. Not recovery of loots. I cant understand what you are talking about the civil service arrears The point I'm trying to make is that this govt is very crafty. Now some of the internally generated revenue from govt agencies are used to replace equipment and for day to day running of the office like purchase of diesel to run plants in the agency. All records are open for govt auditors to verify. Many times govt gives approval for use of some of this igr for offset of promotion arrears, reimbursement for private monies used for training fees and so on. Now govt through their budget many times do not provide enough money to cover all they need to, that's why you hear of shortfalls in many areas. So the igr makes up for these. Now the govt is pretending not to recognize those shortfalls and is owing for many services and yet claiming to have saved money. By the time they pay up what they owe, what will be left will be too small to achieve much. |
Politics › Re: Buhari: Next Three Years Will Be Result-oriented by omogin(f): 11:22am On Mar 25, 2016*. Modified: 11:37am On Mar 25, 2016 |
The monies these clowns are boasting of in the TSA are mostly monies owed civil servants in various ministries as well as that used in the day to day running of govt agencies. Many MDAs are owing salaries from November 2015, many owing promotion arrears from 2013, training course fees and so on and so forth. Most govt institutions don't have many tools for work currently, due to the so called 'TSA'. If really civil servants were stealing this much EFCC and ICPC would have been parading them daily as APC campaign materials |
Politics › Re: Presidency 2019: There Is Vacancy In Aso Rock by omogin(f): 10:11am On Mar 25, 2016 |
TonyeBarcanista: I read the communiqué of the APC National caucus in laughter where they declared there support for a second term in office for President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. In the said communiqué, the APC declared the non-vacancy of Aso Rock, the seat of power in 2019, insinuating that President Buhari's mandate would be renewed for another four years.
Sometimes I wonder whether the men in power and their associates are living in a different world from the rest of the country. I wonder whether the APC is yet to get the message of Nigerians that they are tired of the pains that the ruling party has been making them go through since assuming power in May 29, 2015. In fact, I will be very direct in this subject.
Where does the APC think they can win in any part of Nigeria? Is it the North Central that the government watch while their people are being killed and made to bury communities due to the menace of marauding terrorists masquerading as Fulani herdsmen that the APC expected to get votes from? Is the President and APC expecting to get votes from the talakawas and the majority people of North West after dashing their hopes of getting unemployment benefit? Do they expect to get votes from the people of Kaduna state and Zaria after the massacre of their shittes brothers by the army?
Do they expect to get the votes of the South West after doing nothing while some herdsmen terrorists kill them in their own ancestral land? Are they expecting the votes of the people of Lagos after the Mile 12 incident or those of the people of Ondo state after the kidnap of Falae? Are they expecting the votes of the good people of Osun state after disgracing them through the governor? Is the APC expecting the votes of the South East after openly marginalising them with the infamous 5% or the South South?
Is the APC expecting the votes of the poor masses despite punishing them with fuel scarcity and high cost of commodities? Are they expecting the votes of the poor middle class that have their wards schooling abroad but unable to pay their fees due to non availability of the dollar? Will they ever forgive the president mocking them that they should withdraw their wards if they can cope?
Will men of patriotic zeal vote the same government that not only justified the nepotistic employment exercise by the CBN but are unwilling to reverse it? Are they expecting the votes of the intellectuals after openly disregarding court verdicts? Who will return Mr President to office in 2019 even from among his family members?
By 2019 the government will understand the verdict of the masses when they send them to permanent retirement and bring them to face justice for their crimes while in power.
Though 2019 is a whole three years away, it is instructive to inform the President and his party that they should not bother campaigning when the time comes because it will amount to waste of time, energy and resources.
Finally, there is vacancy in Aso Rock, her new tenant shall move in on May 29, 2019 along with the Umbrella.
May God Bless Us All and Bless Nigeria This is the sanest write up I've seen on naira land since returning from a politically motivated ban. |

Quakertellicus1: First, thanks for calling me blind and in need of a miracle. That is such wonderful and lovely language to call someone.
Second, the governor did say that students are going to go on break....from Good Friday till Easter monday, then normalservice resumes on Tuesday till April the 8th.
Thirdly, imams do preach in public.Having lived in the Nawth, I can attest to that.
Fourthly, earthly laws can never ever limit the spread of God's Kingdom on earth.
Good morning . Good morning, sorry for calling you blind. Jesus himself had to knock Paul out when Paul was harassing the church and preventing the gospel. We don't want any harassment from anyone. Besides you didn't say why only Kaduna state is embroiled in these religious nonsense and why the midget has refused to drop his inferior complex |

Quakertellicus1: The above people I have just quoted obviously have serious eyesight issues. They need to see their eye doctors as soon as possible.
First....EL rufai never said that schools would remain open during GOOD friday and EASTER monday.
As he said in the OP's attached post
Pupils in Kaduna State will have their Easter break on the prescribed public holidays and return to school to conclude the second term
I hope you get it.
But I wonder, why do people have to be filled with such hate.
All the chaps above I have quoted claim to be Christians. They go to church everyday, they read their bibles and pray. And yet...they deliberately engage in the sin of misrepresentation and of bitterness.
I am asking all of the people I have quoted above....
How do you sleep?
How does it feel to be so bitter and hateful.
I know I am not a perfect Christian...but one thing I am going to tell you guys ....is that bitterness and anger may make you feel powerful for a little while, but at the end of the day, it could destroy you.
You do not have to hate. Your are blind and in need of a miracle. The midget has evil anticidents, now he wants to license pastors and mute them, cos imams hardly preach in public. How come its only in Kaduna there's noise about easter hols amongst 36 states. Anyone that troubles Christians will be troubled. |
