lionness: look at this nincomp...reprimand quietly, over the death of 70 people and counting? What about sacking the IG, sacking Benue commissioner for police, putting some boots and guns on ground to deter future attacks? So Yusuf Buhari's life is better than the lives of Benue members who are been squashed like bugs? If you check my past posts, I was totally for this cow, campaigned and voted for him, but the way this loser has praised, protected, and even gone out to sheild his totally ineffective and useless cabinet members is beyond appalling. And the way he's acting like the flagrant, and the wantom destruction of his Fulani families is normal makes me wonder if his brain hasnt been replaced with that of a cow during his last surgery in the UK. Buhari, you are the greatest mistake Nigeria youths, including adults like I made...and Insha Allah, you will be shamed out of that Aso Rock!!!!
PS: I think the Governor of Benue started is a legal bastard and not a real TIV. And I also think every Benue who came to greet this cow when he came their state is a total loser. The best greeting Buhari would have gotten yesterday should have been a total peleting with pure waters, and cow dung! Shame on Benue. Someone who sanctioned the death of your people was given a grandiose welcome. Buhari knew he cant try this with the Ibos, the Ijaws, even the Yorubas. Never knew Benue people are cows as well. hihi! my sister you vex oo! if you follow Buhari news na only High blood pressure person go get..we go dey manage dam one day after the other until 2019 reach...we pray make God spare our life make Fulani nor carry their wahaalla reach where we dey. if any Nigerian vote this man again, we go just know sey they are perpetually doom to be stupid citizens for life with no cure from God nor from man. Did he not collect favours from the discredited Jonathan regime? A govt that certainly sidelined Yorubas? Now compare that with what we have today under APC Buhari/Osinbajo where Yoruba people hold VERY key ministries...one even holding unprecedented three key portfolios. It is time to call out this jobless charlatan! Does he have a regular paid job at all? key position indeed..how have you fared thus far?..has it put affordable food on your table and life more easy for you in present day Nigeria?..sometimes we allow our sentiment to cloud our sense of reasoning with respect to progress and development of the Nigerian society..the only thing the post of the vice president does to the you and your APC kins men is just to massage your ego and notthing more..has it stop the fulanis' from raping, maiming and killing your people in the south west?..your so called vice president that you so much loved, would rather turn his head the other way because he does not want to offend his Fulani masters..is that what you APC guys in the south west regard as power..i feel so sorry for people like, that you would rather masturbate over a political position that does not bring any development to your people other that to make you guys feel relevant without any meaningful impact to your community or even the one osibanjo is from at thesame time while you are still under the rule of the Fulani nepotistic and unfair style of leadership..the Ife case is still new in our memory..what did your vice president say when only the Yorubas were arrested over a two ethnic group clash..remember the Fulanis were the offenders,..Osibanjo hands were tied..he could not say anything..he kept quiet for he did not want to offend his master same with Tinubu and other APC leaders..the only people that came to the rescue of those poor guys carried away to Abuja were the Odumankins' and Afenefere's who you guys much much despised..like it or not they are the voice of the south west when ever your APC masters decide to turn their face the other way when there is injustice between the Yorubas' and the Fulanis'. Osibanjo is a good man and people know, that that is why they are telling him to resign in other no to spoil his good name..we saw the way he moved into action when pres Buhari was sick and away..what happened next..the fulani leaders became jealous and clipped his wings..so guys..open your eyes and know who is your friend. |

Politics › Re: Man Who Spent 29 Years In Nigeria Reveals The Appalling Difference Between Black by omoharry(f): 9:30am On Feb 23, 2018 |
kay9: Bro, God bless you!!
I have been singing this same song to my friends, my family, anybody that'll listen. There is something inherently wrong in the way that we - we Nigerians, we sub-Saharan Africans, we Black people - there is something very wrong in the way we think. We raise our children to think first and foremost for themselves. We celebrate wealth, power and strength, irrespective of how it is gotten - and we make mockery of the poor and weak. We practically hate to have anything to do with misfortune and hardship - "it is not my portion! i reject it in jesus name!".... and yet we want our society to get better. We dance and chorus to "if u no get money, hide your face!", so our youths do everything and anything to get that money... Well, news flash - we are the product of our own collective mindset.
We only celebrate wealth and power - so we have rich men who do everything in their power to remain rich and oppress the poor.
We believe the end justifies the means - so we have crooks and thieves and corrupt criminals in power... and we keep on singing their praises. Because in our eyes, they are successful, "dem don hammer", and if we praise them, emulate them and do as they do, we will "hammer" too.
We refuse to stand up for each other - so the police and military, mopol, sars, they shoot and kill and arrest with impunity, because they know an average Nigerian will never put his life on the line for another person - "never! make i die troway like dat?"
Those politicians, corrupt officials, government appointees and so on that embezzle billions, where did they come from? Did they fall down from heaven, or climb out of the ground?? Of course not! They are ALL ordinary Nigerians like me and you, they were born in Nigeria, grew up in Nigeria, and then joined their forebears in dragging Nigeria even further down - and when they are done, other ordinary Nigerians will replace them and do even worse. IT IS ALL IN OUR MINDS, AND UNTIL WE ALL DECIDE TO THINK FOR EACH OTHER FIRST, INSTEAD OF OURSELVES, NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
I have already made my own decision: I WILL BE DIFFERENT, AND I WILL RAISE MY CHILDREN TO BE DIFFERENT. I will raise them to be better than I was raised - to put justice, equity, and honesty before wealth and power.
The choice is ours: Stop complaining; just change yourself first. you are right..the change should start with our individual self because we are a component of the society that we live in. |

Politics › Re: We Will Not Vote For You Unless You Do These 11 Things: Presidential Aspirants by omoharry(f): 2:39pm On Feb 20, 2018 |
Samleen: * don't just read, add yours too. *
For every presidential aspirant, here is our requirement checklist if you actually want us to cast our votes for you in the coming 2019 election.
We don't care about what political party you belong to anymore -whether old party or new party, popular or unpopular; we don't care about what religion anymore; we don't care about what tribe or region anymore but You
1. Must attend not less than 3 presidential debates: how do we know you're mentally stable and not a slowpoke if you cannot give reasonable responses to simple debate questioning?
2. Must undergo medical qualification tests: both the psychiatricals and others. The result must be verified by a notable medical panel and must be made availale to the general public. People do medical tests even for secondary school admission, so why not for presidency aspiration.
3. Must have a governing plan (just like a business plan or a master plan) and make it available to the general public through the all the social media channels. Bank cannot commit their cash to people without a good business plan with clearly written goals and objectives, figures, strategies and a guarantor, so how much more should we commit the life, future and properties of more than 150millions Nigerians to you without a plan. In the plan must also be indicated your personer track records of successes.
4. Must have more than secondary school education. (There's nothing new about this)
5. Must have at least one of your children educated in a public university in Nigeria (not private): by this we will surely know that you believe in the future of Nigeria and that you will work towards her betterment. This is a price not too much to pay if you realy love us. We are tired of insensitivity of government towards the development of standards of educational setup in Nigeria, the strikes and industrial actions.
6. Must be a patronage of Nigerian made products and services and you must believe in capacity building of Nigerian indigenous businesses to provide exportable products and services to neighbouring countries, Africa and the world at large.
7. Must be wide reader and self development enthusiast: If you don't constantly feed your mind with transformative, educative and informative ideas through books, you don't have a business doing with presidency in Nigeria. We are tired of archaic approaches to human governing. We need mordern, liberated and future oriented leaders to lead us in Nigeria, not power mongers, who just want to be in government for power, fame and monetary gain.
8. Must be within the working age range (younger than 60 years): "what's good for the goose is good for the gander". Towards old age, people become less and less physically, socially, mentally and psychologically fit to cope with occupational demands, not to talk of rulling a nation of more than150million citizens, so retirement is compulsory. The retirement age in Nigeria civil service guided by decree No. 102 of 1979 that dealt with pension and gratuity pegged the statutory age of retirement for public officers at 60 years, while it is 65 years for judiciary officers and 70 for academic staff of universities. However with reform of civil service decree No. 43 of 1988, retirement age has been put at 60 years or 35 years in service.
9. Must have no public record of hate speech, tribalism, nepotism, crime against humanity, pending corruption charges or history, and or affiliation with any millitant group or religion fundamentalist group or terrorist group : We will never ever think again that people will change. Ascenssion to power only gives people the chance to express their true self.
10. Must have done something contributary to the development of your immediate environment: this is simple, is'nt it?
11. Must be well educated about the constitution of Nigeria. We are tired of reminding the government what to do and what's not to do. We are tired of reminding the government about what's in the costitution they swear to uphold. This is 21st century. The INEC in collaoration with the National Assembly and the Judiciary Counsel of Nigeria should create an online platform where common citizen can get proper education about the Nigerian constitution. They should maku use of shot animated videos and other training material. Certificates should also be awarded.
Please house, add your own contributions too
Good morning uncle seun and uncle lalasticlala! what about " must be an advocate of restructuring and equal justice for all Nigerian? that is the most important reason why I would know if the candidate believe in our ideology or not |

Remember we tried it before and lost millions and still counting. Look woman, this fight is a separate fight, it's not new to igbos to fight alone. And yes! We are doing something about it. My question is What are the Yoruba doing about their agenda for restructuring Take your heads outta of the water and open your ears, NORTHERN NIGERIA WE NEVER GIVE YOU RESTRUCTURING THROUGH DIALOGUE. All the hoax you see El Rufai is doing is for the next election to be won. You keep setting up meetings in the southwest for restructuring, you guys are jokers! At least to the average parasitic northerners. Look at the picture, being suffersitcated DO NOT BRING RESPECT TO A TRIBE IN NIGERIA. nigeria is not a country where jaw jaw brings lasting solutions. But before any peace pact can be drawn on Nairaland, Igbos most refrain from calling Lagos "a no man's land". We agree all Nigerians have contributed to the Developement of Lagos but it is still our ancestral land that has had huge advantage over any state in Nigeria by virtue of the early Portuguese traders and the British colonialist.
I campaigned in my own little way for Buhari in 2015 as I also campaigned for GEJ in 2011 and now I support the removal of Buhari by the use of our votes.
Igbos must understand that many Yorubas did not vote out GEJ because he favoured Igbos more, we simply voted him out because of how he allowed Corruption to fester in his Govt. So it was never a mistake voting out GEJ and now we must also vote out Buhari in 2019.
The only way we can salvage our destinies away from the Northern Oligarchy is only if these two major tribes to work hand in hand together especially the Yoruba Christians and Liberal Yoruba Muslims.
Even as a Yoruba man I know we have some Extremist Yoruba Muslims who always support the North over their tribes men but these extremist Yorubas are few in Numbers compared to the Yoruba Christians and Liberal Yoruba Muslim.
Yorubas,Igbos,SS minorities and non muslim minorities of the Middle Belt can work together to overturn the core North's dominance. Nice one..noted..we will all respect one another from the south no matter our religious difference as long as we all support a progressive agender and join hands together to form a strong southern force..Our division has been the reason the north has been lording over us to their advantage and it has to stop... |
