Politics › Re: The Sad End Of Sunday Igboho by omoharry(f): 12:24pm On Jan 23, 2021
thebosstrevor1:
Sunday Igboho, Real name ( Sunday Adeyemo) is from Aladikun Compound in Modeke, Igboho. He is a political thug of Pdp and a common criminal, who will eventually be capture by the Federal government.

Mr Sunday Igboho gain notoriety and popularity during the ife / modakeke war where he killed his fellow yoruba people over lands in Osun state.

On his wikipedia, it is written that he is a human right activists, in reality he is a political thug who was used by a former governor of oyo state( Rasheed Ladoja) to cause mayhem on political opponents in Oyo state. He is also a land grabber who has killed many because of land issues.

Mr Sunday Igboho is an illiterate who thinks the "yoruba nation" is bigger than the constitution of Nigeria, most of his followers are stack illiterates who also do not understand that the constitution of Nigeria guarantee freedom of movement of any group within Nigeria.

Mr Sunday Igboho isn't fighting for the yoruba nation but for his personal political interest and for his boss(Rasheed Ladoja) who is at loggerhead with Makinde( Present governorof Oyo state). Mr sunday Igboho is taking advantage of the people negative view of fulani herders to organize his illitrate followers to cause mayhem and possible ethnic cleansing of fulani communities in Oyo state.

The real issue isn't the herdmen, the blame on the herdmen for every crime in oyo state by Mr sunday igboho is just a false flag to rally the people against the governor of oyo state in preparation of the 2023 governorship election.

The backstory is that a breakout faction of the pdp loyal to Lodoja in oyo state is capitalizing on Sunday igboho popularity to spit the party apart.

Everything about sunday Igboho mass movement is an organised political power struggle to bring the oyo state government to its kneel.

The government of Nigeria are watching and any further escalation of the conflict in oyo state will lead to the end of sunday Igboho.
ya .. They have come again .. hungry paid agent for the govt . This is what they do . You will never see them comment on various massacre of innocent men and women across the country but they will quickly come out with thier prepared speech when the people or victim rise up to defend themselves . Devils in human skin who call themselves Nigerians . Just look at this non entity without any oita of soul within his body . An animal is better than you becos they defend thier own . A Paid agent that will continue to collect 30k monthly for the rest of ur miserable life .

Hold the government responsible, not innocent people. The government owes us security of lives and property. You are jubilating that Fulani people are being harassed, but you cannot go to the Federal government to demand accountability and action.

Una doh. I'm not Yoruba but I was born and raised in Yoruba land. Imagine if indigenes come to attack me and my family because we are prospering in their land. Does that even make sense? Same goes for some of these Fulani people who were raised in Yoruba land. The ones committing havoc are just a small fraction of Fulani people because all the ones I know and grew up with are peaceful people who mind their business.

If every ethnic group decides to start harassing settlers, there will be a conflagration that will consume some of these people jubilating over the actions of Sunday Igboho.
Fulanis are not like the southerners that live seperatly without knowing who is who.. we are talking about headmen in the bush and not the Fulanis' that live among us .
For a stranger to start commiting havoc in a place, that means, he has local colloberators who knows about thier operation . So you are saying that we should go to the gov who would rather look the other way, while thier kinsmen go around raping , maiming and killing innocent farmers, right? What govt are you referring us to ? Thesame govt that is sympathetic to those bandit that are Fulanis' ? Then you are one of them or their sympathizer . You are asking these victims to go to the fed govt that is supporting these headmen and thier evil practices to do what ? Protect us from fulani ? You make me laugh . Like seriously . The fed govt is supporting the headmen and all that they do- either good or evil, and would defend them against thier victims after they have commited thier various crimes .
Now tell me how many Fulani headmen have been investigated and arrested over thier various crimes commited against other Nigerians ? Or one that has been arrested and not released ? Give me a number ?
You inclusive , you all know what your game are . Don't worry , Buhari will not rule for ever and one say you will all regret the havoc you created and the wickedness you have shown to other Nigerians . You guys will be the most hated tribe in Nigeria and nobody would want you guys around them anymore .
Keep burying your head in the sand and telling us to stop crying or trying to defend our land and instead, we should just go to a govt that would rather watch, while fulani kill us to take over our land, becos they all have an age agenda. Are you saying the whole country crying over the evil practices of the Fulani headmen are all crazy or are not reasonable? .. No, I think you are not reasonable & just one of thier sympathizers. Weldon .

I'm 100% sure tinubu didn't know the kind of person he was campaigning for back then, if only he can turn back the hands of time, but it's too late...Buhari is a green snake, he glaringly showed his true colour when he became the president and I'm very certain tinubu will be regretting it right now because by 2023 I doubt if Buhari will ever support him, he would rather choose a northerner than someone from the south west
I think Tinubu knew who Buhari was, because he exhibited this trait of nepotism during his reign as a military dictator .I am sure Tinubu was an adult during his time as a military dictator.
The preferential treatment melted to Shagari and Ekweme (where by both men were accused of the same crime and shagari was put on house arrest- in a comfortable house, while Ekweme was thrown into Kirikiri prison .) He has always been like that . The Love for his kinsmen over others and a strong supporter of sharia has never been hidden. The only thing that did not play out then was the violent nature of the Fulani headmen .They were not so violent then, If they were,it was not rampart . So, Buhari did not change and never pretended ...Tinubu just underestimated him, while the rest of Nigerian forgot so soon who he was back then and believed he has changed .
Tinubu dined with Buhari to win the north that's all ..but here we are biting our fingers and asking ourselves what we have gotten ourselves into .

The very crazy thing is that everything Kanu said about Buhari was said in some ways by Tinubu years ago, I doubt Tinubu would be surprised Buhari turned out this bad, Infact he predicted that if Buhari is allowed to rule he would tear the country apart with his nepotism,

Then he went ahead and supported him!
I wonder why ? Every body is selfish and would not mind sinking the whole country just to get what they want .Do we really have patriot in this country ? I doubt !Aside from Gani, who had been tested with bribe and rejected it . I am yet to see another that would defend what they are fighting for and would not fall of grace when bribe with political position or money .

You child beggars in your region!! You have thousands of them in your region begging for survival.

But as long it's not happening in the north you don't care!

Atleast the north have understand they've a problem and are seriously working on their problems....

What of your region?? What are you doing about your own problems of child begging?? Underdevelopment and child trafficking including underage prostitution?
oga stop looking else to justify why your guys have accepted almajiri system as a way of life . The North are busy shouting about the non stop terrorism that is ravaging the northern region , becos of the ever available foot soldiers that keep springing up after they seem to have been killed . This is is possible, due to easy recruitment of vulnerable children that have grown into street urchin. A menance that your society has accepted as a way of life .

What is really wrong with the people of northern Nigeria anyway? if this has to do with religious practice , then why is Saudi Arabia , Qatar, and Dubai not flooded with street beggers or involve in this obnoxious practices ?
I sometimes wonder if it's thesame God that created you guys. This Is nothing but wickedness from your leaders and followers .

Would you allow your child to be an almajiri? Would you ? This menance is coming back to bite your ass and unfurnately spreading to other region and you are here pointing finger at a region that send thier children to school . Is something wrong with the way you guys reason out there?
Like someone said earlier, you guys will continue to be tormented by this evil you have decided to accept as a way of life, until you all change your reasoning and do the right thing- by eliminating the wicked practice .
Anybody that does not see any wrong with this wicked and selfish practice, deserve what is happening around them .

Politics › SMBLF Warns FG Over Support For Miyetti Alla by omoharry(op): 3:06pm On Jan 22, 2021
The Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum, SMBLF, on Thursday, warned the Federal Government over the dangerous game it is playing over its overt support for Miyetti Allah saying “Should there be any breakdown of law and order in any part of the country over this encouragement of Miyetti Allah against law and order, President Buhari will be held squarely responsible.”

Reacting to the Ondo State government’s seven days ultimatum given to Fulani herdsmen to vacate its forest reserves, the forum said it was purely a residual matter which the Federal Government has no business with.

In a statement by Yinka Odumakin (South West), Chief Guy Ikokwu (South East), Senator Bassey Henshaw (South South) and Dr Isuwa Dogo (Middle Belt), the forum said no responsible governor would allow what the Federal Government wants for Fulani herdsmen.

“The Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF) is compelled to warn the Federal Government on the dangerous game it is playing over its overt support for Miyetti Allah to violate the lawful order of Ondo state Government banning grazing in its forest reserves.

“We are supposed to be a Federal Republic and Forest Reserves in states are fully residual matter to which the Federal Government has no business with.

The Federal Government statement by Garba Shehu that the Governor of Ondo lacks the full powers to decide on its reserves in spite of the Land Use Act that vests lands in states in the Governors was a complete overreach and clear abuse of the constitution in a bid to elevate Fulani herders above the law.

It is a continuation of the obsessive attachment to Miyetti Allah like the President instructing Governor Ortom to go and live peaceably with Killers after Miyetti Allah killed 78 citizens of the stare in January 2019, to prevent Ondo from holding its rights on its reserves in the face of persistent killings of its people by herders occupying the reserves illegally.

“No decent or responsible governor would allow what the Federal Government wants for Fulani herdsmen. SMBLF, therefore, asks the Federal Government to withdraw the unjust dictate and allow Ondo to enforce the law.”

We equally call on all Governors in all non-Fulani communities who are being forced to live under Fulani terror to take proactive measures to secure their people lawfully.

“Should there be any breakdown of law and order in any part of the country over this encouragement of Miyetti Allah against law and order, President Buhari will be held squarely responsible.”

Please, let us support Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for president, come 2023. Nigeria will be better again.
I am quite sympathetic toward the East, becos they have not ruled Nigeria since 1999.
However, what we need is a good leader from any region in the south ..It could be Peter Obi, from the South East or any eligible candidate,Osinbanjo &Femi Adeshina from the South west and any credible candidate from the south ..They should all be given an equal platform to contest for this position .
They must also tell us how they intend to lead this nation out of the ashes that the we have sang into .He must also be willing and ready to restructure Nigeria without fear or favour .

Funny enough, I thought by now, the EndSARS organizers ought to have started converging online ,seizing this oppurtunity to start looking for ways the youth can be harnessed & brought under one umbrella to debate on how we can make our voice known by our united vote .
The youth have the numbers .If only they could speak with one voice, it would make a big difference .If we could take away tribali/religious sentiment out of the equation and present fact as to why a candidate should or should not be voted, then it will threaten the court of the old hags, who think that they are the alpha and omega when it comes to electing candidate into power. If only we could unite.

Which mean we should forget about Restructuring cos they will never be unity... Hausa/ Fulani man will never vote igbo as president, Igbo man will always see Yoruba as thier problem... While Yoruba will always see Igbo as minority.
That is not what he said.He support restructuring, but he more concerned about the fact that Nigeria should equally do away with things that divide us and focus on areas that unit us, so as to attain a better restructuring. If this hatred lingers on till after Nigeria is restructured, then every region would definitely have something to hold against another region ,which will lead them to start discriminating against people from other regions , tribe or religion.
Note that, If we still have these loose-nuts, we call our leaders- who are very good at inciting weak minded Nigerians against other Nigerians when things don't go their way, then what stops them from doing same under a restructured Nigeria?. Except they are flushed out and new liberal people are voted into power, it will remain divided with these crops of devils we call leaders.
I have also come to realized that 50% of Nigeria's problem is our constitution and weak institution and the remaining 50% is from our leaders and us as followers. We need to change the way we reason, as long as we want to live together.
I think this country should be divided between the North and South.Only then can we have peace, becos people of like minds and Ideology are together.

Politics › Re: Yahaya Bello: I’m In 2023 Presidential Race To Liberate Nigeria by omoharry(f): 10:41am On Jan 18, 2021
nairavsdollars:
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State at the weekend said he has what it takes to provide purposeful leadership and good governance for Nigeria if elected as president in the 2023 general elections.

Speaking exclusively with Daily Independent, the governor, who is currently in his second term, appealed to Nigerians to join hands with him in the struggle to liberate the country from many of the challenges confronting her.

While praising President Muhammadu Buhari for his efforts so far since assumption of office in May 2015, the governor, who said he wants to consolidate on the achievements of President Buhari, said the president is a kind-hearted leader who means well for the country and has genuine interests of Nigerians in all his dealings.

According to him, aside President Buhari and few Nigerian leaders, majority of the present crop of leaders today do not have the interest of the country at heart.

He further urged Nigerians to keep faith with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and ignore the antics of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying it is the only party that can take Nigeria to the Promised Land.

He said, “I want everyone to join me in the struggle to liberate this country. We must seize this golden opportunity to save our nation.

“By the grace of God, I’m ready to lead and I will provide all the quality leadership that is required in the country.

“Let us do our bit to support the current administration and join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari to save this country. Those that are leading today, I can assure you that apart from Mr. President and very few ones, others don’t have the interest of the country at heart. They don’t care about us and that is the truth”.

Last week, Arewa Youth Trust Foundation (AYTF), a Zaria-based group with roots across the six geo-political zones of the country, urged Governor Bello to declare his interest in the presidential race.

The group’s leader, Dr. Fahad Chikaji Ahmed, said the youthful governor has the ability to take the country to a higher pedestal in its quest to attain the best in terms of growth and development.

Ahmed described Bello as a political leader and an administrator who is imbued with a genuine passion to facilitate and promote the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the country.

“Many Nigerians are proud to endorse his candidature for the presidential seat, not only in the near future, but also in the 2023 elections because he would be a candidate who has the potential to restore peace to Nigeria and also effectively carry the youths along.

Nigerians deserve better and ought to demand better. Governor Bello, as the president, will provide an opportunity for Nigerians to regain their long-established appetite for compromise to tackle the country’s most pressing challenges at home and for an international common cause to safeguard the gains of internal democracy and prosperity.”

The South-East Coordinator of the group, Mike Festus, said: “He is a man of faith and unquantifiable love for others. He took seriously, too, the Quranic Hadith that those who have been given great abilities must use those abilities for others.”

It would be recalled that in December 2019, Kogi House of Assembly passed a resolution in which it asked Yahaya Bello to run as either president or vice-president in 2023.

In a motion sponsored by Hassan Abdullahi, the Majority Leader of the House, Bello has performed well since he assumed office in 2016 and has initiated sound economic policies and programmes.

The right honourable speaker and honourable members of the Kogi State House of Assembly upon due deliberation of proper motion therefore, do hereby unanimously make and pass a vote of confidence on His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State,” the lawmaker said.

“That this Kogi State House of Assembly further makes a call to national service to His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and we hereby impress it upon him to run for the office of the president or vice-president of Nigeria in 2023 – after his current assignment in Kogi State.

“That this solemn call is first and foremost premised upon and borne out of our belief that the subject, Yahaya Bello, is a fit and proper person, with the right mix of youth, experience and track record to answer – same firmly and decisively in 2023 and beyond.”

Also speaking, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole, said they (lawmakers) will move across the country to mobilise fellow lawmakers in all the states of the federation to support the governor’s presidential ambition.
