Birniwa: This is what deserves you, illiterate idiots. If you truly are protesting for #EndSARS in response to police brutality in your region as it initially started, how comes police stations are being burnt, police officers being hit with vehicles in broad day light, shops being destroyed, vehicles being burnt, prisons being broken letting high-profiled criminals on the streets again, stealing wealth and properties bringing to others etc ?
How many are you in Nigeria as a whole in the first place to think you can change this country to how you want it? You're not even the majority nor do you own this country alone. If you're too dull to think clearly, Nigeria is still practicing democracy system of governance. Things don't happen the way you see it with your empty brains.
The government is not stupid like you all think, the lives of these useless youths need to be wasted for good. If you like, stay in Alausa tonight. Useless beings. Have you sucked from your cow today? becos that is the only thing that make you talk like a fool. People are killed on a daily basis like flies in your but it means nothing to you becos they are not cows. You would rather cry & morn your cows for months than your family .I wonder what kind of human beings are you people . Your leaders will send their children to school and give you guys plate to beg on the street or beg food at their house everyday and you call that life ..The north and the south have nothing in common you guys should be with your cousins In Niger republic & Sudan ..the time will come when the south will say enough is enough . |

pman06: Still... Does it have to get to this? Ain't there other ways of punishing unerring youths than carrying live ammunition to a heated protest. I still believe the government could have done better.
But then again, each to their own. Tear has, rubber gun, teazers if they have ...Then make few arrest for violating the state curfew..But killing youth holding the national flag is Barbaric.. |

For 13 days the government stood still and did nothing but the burning continued and was forced to declare curfew but some people who had a completely different agenda stayed put. Those are the people who set properties including banks ablaze and faced the violence of the law enforcers. Those are not genuine protesters. the burning that was done by thier hired thugs .. this is thier plan all along in other to discredit the peaceful protest .. We even saw a govt jeep dropping of thugs with machete & weapons in Abuja . And you are telling me that it turned violence . The govt sent these thugs so that they can destroy lives and properties and Make it look like the protesters are the one carrying out those act or that the thugs have hijacked it which will give the govt an oppurtunity to justify their use of force. But we all know it's all a game plan .. sey you guys are happy now? People lives does not mean anything to you guys, as long as the status quo of corruption , oppression , killings, injustice is the order of the day is not interrupted or stopped . God is watching, the blood of those innocent people will always cry in the head of Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu
I dont think Buhari has a hand in this, while will Buhari ignore all 36 states including Edo where the protest was the worst to send Army to lekki toll gate, Lagosians use your brain, Tinubu and Sanwo-olu are behind this killing. Vaughanlanrewaj: You are right about the address sir . But in fairness to the president, he actually supported the protest. But after the curfew was declared by the Chief Security Officer of the state, it does not matter what the President supports anymore.
That is why I believe if some of the protesters caught in Lekki right now were appropriately enlightened, using influential platforms like Nairaland, most of the patriots among them will comply. During curfew, even non protesters who flout it are not spared let alone protesters or insurrection agitators hiding under the protest. So they should use live bullet on them ? What happened to rubber billet and Tear gas ? You have been conditioned to violence that you do not know what govt should do with harmless protesters . These young Nigerians are fighting for your and me ... they are asking for freedom to be able to live in a country without being harassed , brutalized or killed extrajudiacially by the police . They are not asking for too much. Sars has been disbanded three or four times , the police reform document has been kept under thier shelve, piling up dust ., They have been hearing of our tries and campaign against police brutality and thier excess forces on young Nigerians but it has always fallen on deaf ears.. This is why we are still in the hell we call a country, becos Nigerians have been conditioned to suffer & smile in horrible conditions . We always Praise and worship these useless leaders who are modgaging our future for thier opulent life styles. The north have been crying against bandit and kdnapping but it has always fallen on deaf ears and you think this govt is a listening one ? Or one that keeps to thier promise ? |

Switching off street lights and removing CCTV cameras at Lekki Toll gate to shoot and murder the same citizens you swore to protect. This is the height of it.
Look at the speed they imposed and implemented a curfew but give us good governance, they would start setting up committee and panel. Y'all just shot yourself in the foot by attacking unarmed Nigerian youths.
Even the devil would be in awe by this wicked display of power. The same toll gate that generate trillions of Naira annually. At the same spot, you kill the same people that fund your irresponsible and greedy lifestyle.

Politics › Re: Buhari Is Not The Cause Of Problems In Nigeria - Prof. Suny Edeko. by omoharry(f): 3:45pm On Oct 20, 2020 |
Guestlander: Only morons would think it started with Buhari but the solutions are within his powers today. It did not start with Bihari but we voted him in to help fix what have been broken .What would it take to analyse the problem of Nigeria and invite our intelligent minds in Nigerians to come up with a workable solution in how this country can be fix? How long must we continue to point fingers at past administration who had already failed us? Why join the list of the already failed leaders?what is wrong in looking forward, instead of backward & using the deed of the already failed past leaders to justify your inefficiencies ? Sometimes I wonder if we have stopped thinking and only moving around like zombies . |

Neurotika: The protesters are as confused as the government. Of all the problems of this country, you singled out only SARS. Now when government answers that, you suddenly realize SARs isn't the only problem. Yet you want them to take you serious by constantly shifting the goal post. When the word revolution is called you'll call it political. "This is a start" is the usual rant...yet what's the assurance you'll get this opportunity again?. Nigeria's problem is deeply rooted in ALL the administrative structures designed by this corrupt and incompetent leaders. This should be the focus. And it goes beyond writing ambiguous words on placards. Men of integrity and competence needs to come together in their numbers and influence the system via elections. Imagine if all the people carrying placards all agree to a particular candidate in the upcoming elections. Imagine the broad impact this will have on the current system. The problems of this country is deeply rooted in the fundamentals and it's only an effective leader that can solve them. Treating symptoms of a disease won't get anyone anywhere. But then, you're all enjoying your rage so knock yourselves out.... so what are you doing typing and strategizing on what they should protest on? Why can't you start one? It's easy to win goals and war with mouth but are too lane to move into action .You are busy typing from the comfort of your house and mocking courageous protesters that have been out on the street for days now, fighting for their freedom, from oppression ,police brutality & extra judicial killings and you are here with your big mouth bad mouthing their effort . |
