If anybody need a true advice, it shouldn't be from politicians. Tinubu wouldn't say the same thing if PDP were in power. Just like all PDP politicians critics of present government wouldn't happen if they were in power.
Now listen to the main advice.
"For Nigeria to make progress, we need a radical change". Not political change. Radical one. It happened in Europe. It happened in Asia. It can happen here.
[b]Revolution. Restructure. or Break Up. No more more less.[quote]I like that ..That should be the mantra of the Nigerian youth for real change ..The govt must be force to choose one . |

Kudejo: From your comment I get the feeling you don't know that over 80% of poverty in Nigeria is located in the North (https://www.thecable.ng/world-bank-north-accounts-87-poor-people-nigeria/amp) and the North is also home to the most undeveloped states in Nigeria, not to mention that Northerners are the main victims of the Boko haram insurgency. But according to you the Southerners are the 2nd class citizens in Nigeria, over 200 children were kidnapped by insurgents in Northern Nigeria but you still stand by your untrue facts and claim that the SW(home to the richest and most developed states eg Lagos) are the real victims of bad leadership in Nigeria The north choose to be the poverty race of the world becos they choose to remain that way . they rather send thier children to Koranic school than conventional school. They choose to give birth to many children more than they can cater for becos of thier closed mindedness toward their religion . Whose fault is it that they choose to allow people to manipulate their thought, that stop them from given birth to fewer children and sending them to a school ? The amaljiri system they are having today , whose fault is it? Is it the fault of the southerners ? Why must we always pay for their closed minded way of life . Their leaders give birth to fewer children and give them quality education then marry their children off to other rich friends a but this same poor northerners cannnot ask himself if these rich people have two heads . Why can't their children go to school, which is free and available in the north? Whose fault is it that they choose to be very fanatical in thier day to day activities and allow religion to cloude their sanity ... As it is they are even more holier than Saudi Arabia. Pls the northern case is a product of thier leaders, who they reverence and worship . They would rather appreciate the daily hand-out given to them on a daily basis than learn to have an open & independent mind to elevate themselves from the gross poverty that is ravaging their region . The south and the North have nothing in common. |

Etrusen: many fellow will go to sleep when Yorubas beat drum of war
there is no way you can leave a country for independence without breaking it rules and breaking the rules will lead to war but unfortunately the yorubas have no balls Till now I have never seen an Igbo man that stood against injustice in Nigeria and was able to go through various arrest and brutalities as a result of speaking out against tyranny by the Nigerian govt back during the military era..That is what I call courage and only people I know that once endured these brutality by the tyranny govt were two Yorubas fellows (Fela and Gani Fawehinmi) these were fearless individual that could not be bought nor be silenced in the face of tyranny and injustice . I am from Delta state and I respect these two late fellows for their courage and fearless method they use in passing across thier criticism of the Then Millitary govt . It not about shoulting and cheats beating on how to embark on a course without proper planning ..Everything should be done strategically . If Kanu was really courageous and brave , then why did he run away and left his people to face the govt whip alone ?So many young people died fighting for thesame course he could not stay to defend . He ran away by useing his foreign pass sport to elope in order to avoid arrest. He is not brave and not a good leader . You guys should choose another leader for you self that talk less and act more with wisdom . The Yorubas might be known to talk from both side of thier mouth but I don't see them as coward . Coward can be found among all ethnic group, just thesame way they can boast of courageous men and women among them . Pls southern should put aside nonsense for ones and for all. |

Kudejo: So just to clarify: you, a citizen of an undeveloped country with a corrupt government(Nigeria) are willing to "roll the dice" and create a new country(Biafra) with a new government made up of the citizens of that same corrupt country that you hated, but you believe it will be different because all the problems that made you want to leave your original country were created by people of other tribes/religions. I have a few questions, 1) if Biafra is created but becomes a failed state will you join a new separatist group and try to form yet another country ? 2) if Biafra succeeds who will be leader between Ralph Uwazuruike (MASSOB) and Nnamdi Kanu(IPOB)? it may be a stupid question but this is the same reason that south sudan has been at war since its creation in 2011. 3) Do you think the reason the FG is corrupt is because there are no Igbo's in a high positions, because if that is your opinion I have some bad news for you. Leave the Igbos alone. At this moment only your likes that are enjoying from the national cake can be taking from their high horse as if all is well . The SS are tired of Nigeria , so are the SW & MB.. the Igbos looks like they are alone becos their voice is the loudest in the clamour for seperate country .... The other region were not interested becos things were not this bad. Oga Nigeria is not walking and the citizens that do not belong to the fulani are treated like second class citizens. They are allowed to carry arms and slaughter innocent people at will but these same people are haunted down when they try to defend themselves or hurt these monster in the process . What kind of Nigeria are you advocating for ? Is it the one that has two laws ..where the northern region is allowed to have thier own law and the south cannot ? Is it thesame Nigeria where the south is given the lowest slot for govt job and other social programs that they are qualified for to the advantage of the greater north ? Is it the same Nigeria where hundred of thousands people are been slaughtered on a daily basis so that the cows of the fulani can feed and graze on people farm as they want ? While this govt looks the other way as if nothing ever happened ?. Pls don't come here and be preaching one Nigeria when you know that there are two countries in Nigeria .. the Northern and Southern Nigeria . Pls stop insulting our sensibility . Please let this article be in front page
Shey u want Nigeria to be divided? U want Biafra? U want to b ur own nation, U wat to own ur own currency, U want to make ur decisions, U want the igbos to rule, But all u do is sit down in ur house, pressing ur phone and opening ur mouth waaaa, Without looking at the bigger picture, Without actually looking at the disadvantages of this supposed freedom, I see some post here shouting Biafra this and that, oduduwa this and that,u want freedom from Nigeria,u wanted to destroy a relatively peaceful country, U want to form ur own country as one tribe♀️ Lemme quickly point out the little negativities we will face If the division of this country is given a thought, I don't know much about the yorubas so i.will center this post mainly on the igbos and Biafra. What are our plans: Division of a country is not just something u wake up in the morning and u want to do, There has to be plans, decisions, strategies,on how u plan to stand alone, If the plan to divide Nigeria does go thru, the amount of suffering we are currently undergoing via unemployment will be tripled and the generation to suffer from it will be this our present generation and the one probably ahead of it, Cus it takes time to settle in, It takes time to get an international recognition, U can't just walk around countries like dat with ur certificate bearing the name Biafra on it, Because clearly not every country supports Biafra as a nation and won't allow any citizen of the country in theirs to avoid wars of any sort from there rival country Nigeria, Also not every country or companies inside countries recognizes Biafra as a country, U can hardly secure any job outside of Nigeria with a Biafra certificate, and if we don't part in good terms with our mother country Nigeria, there won't even be any work there for u,cus clearly there will be stigmatization and u will be fished out as victims of dis disaster.
How many years will it take Biafra to actually stand, how about the development of the country itself, the Nigeria land will be owned majorly by the hausas, and there land are known richly for there production of some raw materials we export for revenue development, materials like tomatoes, onions, leaves rice, beans etc, They are the best farmers, How many years will it take Biafra to rebuild the hospitals, schools, companies, churches and other stuffs owned by Nigeria b4 it was divided, that's if we don't seperate peacefully.
And the major factor promoting this division of Nigeria is the anger of corrupt leaders and politicians, The anger guiding the fact that no Igbo person has ever ruled Nigeria since it's conception , This is understandable, but is Biafra any better, Do u think u can live peacefully for even a mere 10yrs, Do u think if Biafra is born that the leaders will b any better, our situation will be any better than what it is today, Then I think u r blind, dumb and prolly stupid,no offence though, Let's put it on a lower scale:some of the minority troubles Nigerians are facing today are from the igbos, dragging lands, Greed for money, Promoting relationship influence in decision makings, hate speeches, Stigmatization, bribery and corruption, money laundering, fraud etc. And all these factors amongst our selves,is the love there? Is the leadership qualities there? How about justifications of crimes, is it possible under Igbo ruling, Prior to our states being ruled by our respective tribes, Are there any developments?all u see is it not still some greedy leaders who cares only for them selves, gathering enough money for themselves and there families and generations after, Are they any better from the hausas we are running away from, Have they proven them selves to be any better, Have they made us proud, have they fulfilled any promises they made to us If the igbos can't rule a state positively, how about a country, a country housing their tribe's,do u think they will be any different decisions, or different consequence, will the greed disapear or will the hunger become even more, will the pains go away , will they award positivity to were it's due,and if these things don't go as plan as we want them to, Who will stand up to them, The hausas are gone and so are the yorubas, Who will defend against them, They r our brothers afterall, How do we cope and build from the scratch again?
Conclusion to what am trying to say, Despite the pains I go thru admitting this truth, The truth stands that the hausas are the ones holding this country They are the ones bringing the peace amongst the yorubas and the igbos,u might not see it,but that's the truth, they might not be the best, maybe they are probably the worst, but no Igbo ruler will do any different, thy will still pack the money for their future generations same will the yorubas, The problem of Nigeria remains the fact that we don't build for the future rather we look at the past,if u can't live with three major ethnic group, in one Nigeria, Do u think u can stand alone as one Biafra, with only the Eastern tribe to rule, Do u think there will be peace or we will be any different from nigeria, Not many countries will divide and conquer, some divide and the both country become powerless, such is the case of the Czech republic and the slovakia. The truth is if we divide this country, there are many ways we will regret it, irrespective of all these wars and difficulties we re currently facing, We won't be respected or regarded as the giant and pride of Africa, our resources will be split and wasted amongst greedy leaders, Our currency will depreciate and probably lose its value, there will be little peace, adaptations will be major factor, tribalism will set up, Our stands in the world rank will also pretty much depreciate. I still believe in United we stand and divided we fall✊ I still believe in one Nigeria. I believe there are countries coping in conditions worst than ours and they re still striving, striving not cus they love pains and suffering, striving cus they achieve more together, Pls let's join our hands and say no to the division of Nigeria, If the igbos want there voices to be heard b4 there will be peace, then I think they should b given the mantle of leadership in Nigeria, while we cross our fingers and hope that the country becomes better for all of our gains♥️♥️✊
P.s:some of my facts might not be true or my stats considered rubbish, but it's my opinion and it should be respected, And also am not a student of government so I might not be right at some points, tnx. So you suggest that we sidon look and remain in misery becos you are scare of the unknown .. let the country be divided between the North and south(This is becos there is strength in unity and if we south come together as one and break away from the core North it will be difficult to swamp us with their numbers & there won't be any bigger force to shutting down the smaller unit crying for a break up ) .. Inside the Southern Region, let us practice true federalism where each state can control thier resources and pay tax to the prime minister of southern Nigeria. Religion should be abolish from politics space and must be practice quietly and peacefully with respect for other people religion . Southern Nigerian can reason together to see how to move the new country forward to catch up with our counterpart in other countries ..You are messed up Oga, that is why you will suggest we do nothing and continue to eat our own poo which we are been force to eat every day of our lives . Our children deserve better. Our parents failed us and were too cowed and timid to fight for us to have a better life in Nigeria. Therefore we own it to our children to fight for a better country for them . It has started let the Biafra ,The oduduwa ,The Niger Delta & Middle belt all start clamouring for a good Nigeria or break up then it will force the core North to come to the round take . Any betrayals in the south or middle belt should be ask to stay with their Hausa/fulani friends. |

There was a prophesy concerning Nigeria many years ago even before the world knew us,When we were still the good child and mother of Africa, that a time would come when Nigeria would be the most corrupt and hated country in the world. But guess what, just when they think everything is finished like many are starting to think now, then will a new world Giant arise(Nigeria) nations and people will be dieing to come over, because Jehovah has destined Nigeria to be the end time Revival ground and it will happen in our time..so remember to bless and not to Course Nigeria.
Good development though The new world and beautiful Nigeria you have envision will not just for on your lap. You have to fight for it .. You know why ? The status quo is benefiting a lot of people and some nations and they will fight to keep thesame . So it's not by the number of times you fast and pray. ModestGal: I expect nothing good from a generation that destroyed my generation. They are the generation that enjoyed the good Nigeria, they got job after university, not being told to go and learn TAILORING or MAKE-UP after Masters degree, they had the oppourtunity to venture into business if they don't want to work with the government, all they need to do is resign after saving some amounts of money from the job, at INTERNATIONAL FORUMS, they are proud to be called a Nigerian, because of the likes of RASHIDI YEKINI and other Sport Celebrity of the time that had talents and was able to play for their country without an idiot with no talent taking their position due to corruption. Check the sport sector, you will understand why we may never win any world game again due to the corruption of those incharge of sport, and treating sport players with injustice. Or how will someone who drank Garrison and borrowed money to finish University have money to start business? Or how will he see laptop to learn computer skills?
They are the generation that instilled useless teachings that would never make us rich on the new generation. They are the Tribalistic bigots, religious bigots, they worshipped anything white. Their life is filled with superstitious beliefs, using prayers in awkward ways.
Does it make sense to be selling Road safety form at #1miilion naira, and putting prices on federal Government Job?All these useless elders watch this happen and there is even a respected elder that Federal Government do give two slots, and he sells it for 2.5millionaira to an Hausa man who will go give it to his people for free for reelection.
This so called elders generation has done absolutely NOTHING for the good of my generation, so I do not expect anything of Value from them.
As far as Nigeria is concerned, as at this point, I really do not know the point of keeping it, every Nigerian is unhappy except those benefiting from the corruption. Nigerians are not proud to be called Nigerians, an average Nigerian curse the country and expect the worse from all corners. So what's the point of keeping Nigeria as one?
The people do not see themselves as one and are not ever ready to see themselves as one, so what's the point of forcing the people for over 60years and yet, they do not want to become one?
What's the point of practising different laws in the South and North, but yet you want to call them a single country
What's the point of forcing people who hate themselves as one?
Well, as far as I'm concerned, there's no benefit an average Nigerian feels about being a Nigerian, so what's the point of still wanting to be a Nigerian?
The OLD generation have done nothing to better the NIGERIA they want so much, and everything is in a catastrophic state because of them and yet, they still want to keep it as Nigeria? No, it doesn't work that way.
We all need to be sincere with ourselves, what is the joy as a Nigerian that we would love to continue to keep?
I will always support one Nigeria when the Youths are happy being a Nigerian, not when an average youth is wishing and praying to travel out even if it is to Ghana, they just want to leave, but if not, I do not see the point
As at this point I'm almost not caring anymore, because truth is, I'm not proud to be called a Nigerian, because Nigeria is synonymous to Fraud, Killings, and Poverty.
So let's do it this way, support One Nigeria, if you are happy as a Nigerian.
Modified Ordinary online job, it takes Nigerian on fiver to use another country identity, lol. Thats how Nigeria has reduced to Nothing. Nigerians now hide under Lesotho before they could use PayPal, a country that was no where near Nigeria. Is that not enough shame?
Internationally the country has reduced to Nothing Locally, it has reduced to Nothing, a country where big boobs and butts pays more than a Masters degree, where PhD students studying Mechanical engineering need to learn how to sell fish online, and being told to go and learn a skill.
If I continue to write, this whole thread would full, my advice for the Youths is that they better take their lives back from these thief's, because give all these elders 30years more and they are likely to be dead and we and our unborn generation would continue to suffer. You really captured the real predicament of the ordinary Nigerian and the helplesss situation we have found ourselves. Another sad thing is that our generation have started towing the same foot part our fore bearers took -We are timid , weak to protest injustice together .We are easily devided by religionðnicity by any stupid Idiot and it will be digested hook, line &sinker without any deep thinking. Ee hate one another and would rather sabotage the other ethnic group if it does not benefit our own..we are very disunited in a common project of purpose that will benefit every one. I don't see any hope in our generation anyway, becos we are just like our selfish and greedy old leaders .Maybe our children will come around with a different mindset, becos they are a different breeds. They are the ones that ask questions" why " and they require an answer .They look like breeds that will not be easily cowed and subdued just the way we were cowed & subdued to obey our elders weather they right or wrong . |

Op weldone. I totally support what you did . The School is suppose to be a place where children learn and and are taught good morals .
Nigeria is becoming a very superficial society .This is why so many couples are ready to go the extra mile of taking loan from people so that they can keep up with other mothers in school and also not to let their children down , especially when they are looking up to them to give out goodies just like thier peers. This should stop , It is becoming like a competition in schools among parent in recent tims . Just imagine a parents who is still owing schools fees for two terms and appealing to the school for thier understanding & consideration was able to have money to throw a school party for their son with expensive gift pack. Is that not a misplaced priority ?
For those of you abusing the op that she has poverty mentality and all that .. I think you parent in recent times have misplaced priorities . What happens to celebrating your children's birthdays with cake and drinks ? And get a wonderful and expensive gift for your child at home? All these gift pack is nothing but a big show off .This is the reason why our society is messed up with our children growing up think that money must be made at all cost to keep up with the jones and their peers that have the good things of life .
There are so many parents that grown up Babies. This is the reason why our youth are pressured to do stuff illegally ( like fraud and drugs ) so that they can measure up to thier peers and society .
This is where it all start from. Some of our children are every where in the world engaging in all kind of illegal activities so as to keep up with our sick societal expectations. Madam weldone . |

Let us start the #Otedola is Lagos meme. PDP chances of defeating APC in Benin-That we know but their chances of defeating Apc in Lagos? ;hmmmm!!That one I not know ooo!! They should not be too over confident just becos they won Oshomole in Edo state oo!. They should remember that Osho was already unpopular in Benin and couple with the fact that he is perceived as Tinubu boy , whose influence they do not want in their state made the people to tilt toward Obasekis’ camp . Ikpongiton: this is to show that ,with free and fair election, that all south south is pdp and should be leave to remain so Wait oo!!So APC does not have any state In the SS anymore? This is Oshomoles fault . By now they are suppose to have like two state from the SS (Edo & Bayelsa) if not for oshomole . I don't know what Tinubu sees in Oshomole in the first place .He is a disaster to the Party. Anyway, what's my business ,not that the party cares about the common man in the first place . |

ThatFairGuy1: I'll NEVER insult Tinubu no matter what, in front of his crooks. We all know their agenda
AsiwajuNdigbo writes..
People that call Ambode coward today were the same people that supported and hailed El Rufai when he said he knows how to remove godfather in Lagos. But when Rufai recently opened his cancerous mouth to say 2023 will go to SW these people blasted him and called him all names. Their true enemy is Tinubu. Any that refuses to oppose Tinubu is in their black book. Anyone that blasts Tinubu is in their good book. I look all around Nigeria, my people are in every state. Igbo has been in Northern Nigeria much much earlier before we knew Western Nigeria. Yet there has not been any single record of an Igbo man being elected into political office or even nominated into a cabinet in North. In Lagos on the other hand we have continued to enjoy the benefits of democracy under same Tinubu, and our losses in some areas is result of our own irresponsibility and not because the system or Lagos godfather hates us. If godfatherism in Lagos has benefited us in the most wealthy and most economically advanced state in West Africa, doesnt it make sense to support what advances our entrepreneurship and political ascent? I was born in Lagos and in the Igbo circle in Lagos, there are people who are fed up and disgusted with our style of political culture. I support them and im in that mold myself. There is no president of Nigeria who has been as democratic and favorable to Igbo as Obasanjo did. Obasanjo is a godfather. Obasanjo made people like NOI, Soludo, Ihejirika, Ekwezisili and many more. Yet we are the loudest anti-godfatherism. Even in North, where we have never gained any political benefit but have suffered the greatest social and cultural calamity, nobody even becomes a commissioner without godfatherism. My people love Kwankwaso but forget the man is a godfather. We love Atiku but forget Atiku is a godfather. So my brother, those hating on Ambode are venting that he failed to fight against Tinubu when he had the chance. Obasanjo fought Tinubu, yet we still hate Obasanjo. The same Obaseki we are hailing, he went to Lagos to seek godfather support. He didnt get it. Akeredolu in Ondo, our inlaw, he fought Tinubu to become governor but has returned to Tinubu and godfather to seek reelection. No Igboman living can swear on his chi and claim godfatherism in Yoruba people, particularly Obasanjo and Tinubu has not earned us advancement in Yprubaland and in Nigeria generally. I want my people to know that the example of our progress and inclusion in Lagos and Yorubaland is a model that the Hausa/Fulani has copied and used to integrate our brothers in North. When was last time we hear of riot against Igbo in North? They have seen how our inclusion in Yorubaland pays off economically and they are modelling that to improve their local economy as well. Godfatherism helps Igbo business and politics. My people should open their eyes and learn. Let Edo carry their load and fight Tinubu themselves. Edo no be Lagos no concern us. Lagos na our bread and butter, we must not ruin it. End to godfatherism will destroy business for us, let us condemn those that oppose godfatherism in Lagos. Our leaders in Lagos have seen the light and theyve been drumming the beat, if you cant beat Tinubu in Lagos, join Tinubu to bring dividends of godfatherism to Igbo commerce and politics. Share this. Exactly the way someone with a slave mentality would think .They will throw crumps at you and you call it Gold..They manage to buy you into politics so as to win over your tribe men for election and you call it previlegde ... you don't know that politics is all about interest . You cannot see beyond your nose and you think the lives of Lagos start and end with one Man that have cornered public properties to himself alone . He gives you crumps of bread and collect billions from you , yet you sing his praises . In the land of the blind, A Tinubu is king as a one eyed man . You have a slaved mentally and you need to see another side of leadership and development devoid of a Tinubu for you to know that Lagos can do better than the disorganized ,smelling & dirty city that it is known for. |

PrinceMajestic: Despite all the oppression, looting, and economic bankruptcy pdp put nigeria thru for 16years they still enjoy support from their dumb slaves. Yall gon suffer non stop. And letter you cry and blame baba when insecurity befalls your corrupt evil lifes. You shall reap what you sow, choosing a honest pastor over an ungrateful corrupt pdp politician. Una sufferings never start sef The hardship that we are suffering is called what ?? They are both thesame but PDP is the lesser evil to what APC is. So now your party APC is the good party abi? So the current suffering we are undergoing presently is caused by which administration ? You are as evil and devilish as your party APC. Pls tell them to stop the killings going on around the country .. Tell your evil leaders that Nigerians cannot travel anymore for fear of being kidnappes or killed by bandit that are now roaming freely to the helplessness of this devilish APC government . Tell them that the fuel subsidy they told us was a scam is now what they are using to purnish us. The cost of fuel and electricity has increased in recent times despite the difficult situation that the country is experiencing . You?? One day You must definately taste the bitter pill that Nigerians are being made to swallow with gutter water .Nonsense . |

greggng: I am not a lawyer but I am very sure that even if obasaki wins, he will be defeated at the supreme court . I warned pdp not to accept him but they were adamant ...bayelsa experience is still fresh ..David Lyon was removed cos of inconsistency in the certificate of his deputy ...what did pdp do? They jubiliated ...right now is pay back time. 4 years ago obasaki presented nysc certificate with the name Obasak. ..he was lucky by then cos on one noticed it...but after bayelsa experience , apc decided to of load him in other not to give Pdp another opportunity to reap where they didn't sow. Having being disqualified, he headed straight to nysc and corrected the error ....with the correction , he applied for Pdp primaries ...it is too late for him cos that correction cannot stand in the supreme court ...he ought to have corrected it before attending apc primaries ..that was where he made a mistake....oshomole being very smart ensured it was published for the world to see. Right now obasaki is parading two nysc certificate which amount to inconsistency ...Supreme court in their wisdom will do justice...the moral lesson is tbat we should not be desperate for powers . The thing pain you not be small . |

How can slaves free themselves when they don't even realized that they are one in the first place? . Leave Lagos alone with their slaves and master relationship . |
