This is a nice development but they should also do something on the issue of seizing of atm card. imagine u just slot in ur card at the atm and the next thing is that there is no network and your card refuse to come out without typing any pin b4 ur card was seized. You will still pay 1,050 to collect a new card. This is totally a cheating and it should be stopped.

I like this your comment but don't be deceived by politicians. This ebonyi gov is not paying 18k minimum wage b4 so that 5 percent increase mean nothing. The workers in ebonyi are not happy with him that's why he increased their wage. The last government paid 18k minimum but umuanyi stopped it immediately he became the governor.

Every body have said one thing or the other. But to me I know jagaban will fight back. It is called" ipadabo ibija"i will prefer him to take his time to fight back but he can still fight back small small. He can start from ondo state by telling all the other aspirant to form an alliance and for a new party or support PDP if it will be too late. Kaka keku maja sese afi se awadanu. The simplest way is to injet money into circulation by borrow at a low interest rate. The present interest rate can never solve economy recess talkless of bringing it to recovery. Selling of govt assest will also go a long way. Pumbing money into micro.small amd medium enterprises will help to develop our own economy and stop over reliance on foriegn goods.

Well said and well analysed. The only thing I know is that there is no amount of explanation and cogent point you will make that children of hate will comprehend. And I also know that the good people of Nigeria with common sense of reasoning understand what is going on in country and we are ready to give this present administration enough chance to bring economy of this country back to recovery. Definitely it will take time for economy to shift back to recovery. An economy that is not producing but only rely on oil will certainly take a long way to recovery. An economy that rely on importation of almost of its consumption will go a long way recovery. An economy that could not save when there is money but rely on looting and pack all the money to abroad must certainly face economic recess and take a long way to recovery. An economy that neglect agriculture can never grow and must lead to economy recess. But somebody may ask question here that jonathan government have some good policy on agriculture, partially he has but is not enough and did not have a better policy because we have enough materials in terms financial,manpower and natural resources that can give us a better agricultural output and make us one of the leading supplier of farm product in the world. A system that lied to its citizen over a decade that it has spent billions of dollars in power sector without giving any positive result that make all our home made good to shoot up in price due to Hugh cost of production can never grow economically. Rail system is another disaster, I believe by now nigeria with all what we have in term of financial capability suppose to have one of the best rail system in the world not to talk of our roads that has gone bad over the years. Contractor were still been owed when there is money to pay them but inconsistency people will point fingers at ore Benin road for how many years and among how many roads in the country? Well, I believe this country will come back to recovery with good policy and hard working on the part of the government.

please there is nothing like evidence of ownership if your ATM card is seized by another bank. It has happened to me last year when I was travelling for promotion exam. I used gtb card on union ATM machine, the funniest thing there is that I have not even type anything on the machine in order to verify the authenticity of my password. The machine just seized my card so I rushed in to union banking room to lodge the complain but I was told that I should go to my bank. On getting there they said I need to apply for new one because that one will be clone. Very bad policy indeed. Someone who just collected a new card and machine seized it, meaning he have to pay for another new one is totally a bad policy.

I saw this news briefly on CCTV this morning and I quickly rushed to internet to find out what really happen. A 35 years old man from new York named Oscar morel killed imam and his friend after prayer in new York. But police detective have arrested the man and charged him to court. But the most unfortunate thing there is that the news is not circulate on our national newspapers the way they normally put it on front page if it had come from a muslim. Even here on nairaland o have not find any news related to this since saturday.

So to yourself now,Edo state is a christian state because it has 100 percentage of Christians abi. What about Auchi and other part that are muslim dominated area? That's even not my concerns. My concern is, is it a bad things to introduce a religion study in a school curriculum? Be it IRK, CRK and traditional ones. In study yoruba language we leant little part of traditional religion like Ogun and obatala. Also on your question of if the northerners can allow christian religion study, you can easily ask your people who stay in the north that question. I know some of their public school study CRK. Please don't let tribal or religion sentiment block your eyes. I could remember when we are school those days,we are asked to choose between CRK and IRK. The only thing is that it should not be forced on any student. Thank you

As a muslim who is expected to fulfill the five pillars of Islam, does government have any business with you praying 5 times, giving alms to the poor, etc? It is your PERSONAL responsibility to yourself as a practicing muslim, the same way any Christian who is going on pilgrimage should assume PERSONAL responsibility for going to Israel without government sponsorship.

Let us allow the govt to fulfill its primary mandate and stop wasting money sponsoring pilgrimages. Last time I checked, how much does Israel or Saudi Arabia give to countries that come to spend money doing pilgrimages? This idea of what is good for the goose being good for the gander must stop in Nigeria. Let the goose and gander fend for themselves.

Infact am not in support of sponsoring or subsidising any pilgrimage. I only against the one I quote saying Buari is trying to change nigeria to a muslim country without saying anything when Buari did same to christian. Pilgrimage is a personal affairs but if the economy is good government can support sponsoring especially civil servant in a way of motivation.

Truely the media is not friendly to islam as a religion all over the world. Our muslim brothers who are also a journalist suppose to be the one fighting for islam but I don't know the reason of their inactive for islam. They like talking lies about islam to paint it black both genuine and those that are not genuine. How can somebody posted a complete lie without a shame on social media,not even thinking of the consequences of what will happen to the readers. Unknowingly to them, they are worst than a killer and terrorist because they have misled a lot of people. Is not only when you kill by gun or ammunition make you to be a killer. A public liar is also a killer. But one thing is for sure,no matter how you are trying to bring down islam ALLAH will always lift up his religion. Because it is a true religion from almighty God.

my brother please try to confirm what this man is paying civil servant in his state. I heard 38k for level 10. Many of them find it difficult to pay their children school fees but the man can buy an expensive jeep for the house members. What a shame!

what of abia and imo state? Ebonyi suppose to be the number one dragging to iicc because their Governor have reduced the state and local government salary more than necessary. But instead of them to complain or reject the token he's paying them,they are satisfy with hardship. A level 10 is receiving 38k while level 12 is 40s. The former Governor started minimum wages for them but the new Governor stopped it immediately he became the Governor. Is this love or what?

The question am asking is all about what I have observed over a long period of time and I know many must have also observed it. Some muslim hate or doesn't have time for solat but when the time for ramadan comes around almost every muslim will be happy to benefit from ramadan because of our general believe about ramadan time. I have an uncle that doesn't have time for prayers but he will never miss a single day during the time of Ramadan. I now imagine which one is even more difficult between fasting and prayer. In fact he will be proud of it that nothing can make him miss any of his ramadan because of his believe likewise many of him like that. Another one we can observe is that, these people will come to mosque on the first to three days of the beginning of the fasting,after those three days they will disappear till the following year fasting. Unknowingly to them that their fasting is irrelevant without solat. I am not judging anybody here but we are told that, after asking about which God we worship on earth the next valuable question is our solat. Brothers and sisters please let us concentrate on our prayers and other good things that will give us paradise during and after this ramadan. Ramadan karrem.
