@Seyimiilan, so sori for d delay, refire as soon as possible for God's plan to b perfected. While going thru ur docs, I found out u didn't include receipt of ur $1500 acceptance fee(seat reservation) as required by Conestoga. I am thinking that's why "purpose of visit" was ticked cos it is the $1500 that secures your place in the college. |

Congratulations bro! Please which program are u going for, PGD or Masters?? SeraSera: Hello everyone, just want to announce that by the grace of God, I have just received a request for medicals. My application wasn't perfect in my eyes, but I thank God for His favour. Special thanks also to @SeyiMiilan, @haustralia and @seiraries, who specifically responded to my various requests, to @pchax, whose SOP was a template upon which I developed mine, and to other members of this thread who continue to provide support and information to those in need. May God grant you all your heart desires. Amen. |

Course based most times don't require supervisor. Try and email your department to be sure of the supervisor requirement to avoid wasting much time. I also applied to Regina ESE course based and supervisor was not required. The End of part 7 is here! benedictuyi: I'm going for a course based |

How best can I prove my work experience? I have only my employment and advancement letter. bossladyMo: Check if electrical engr is on the list. If it is, assess your BSc alone, get at least a 10 in ielts, and you would qualify for a 190. If you chose to claim your work exp as points, then you would qualify for a 189.
If you don't have enough employment evidence to back up your work experience, just kukuma siddon with your 190. |

Yea, my B.Eng is a five year prog. I was thinking M.Eng should be an added advantage. How do I go about d EA stuff...is it done online? ferdimako: If ur first degree is a five-yr program, hide ur M.Sc and claim work experience for all work done after B.Sc. Check with EA- Engineer Australia for ur skills assessment. You have these points now: Age: 30 Education: 15 Work experience: 5 or 10 English test: 10 will do, but if u get 20 the better for shortening of invitation wait time only. |

Omonjoe: Hello all, with the new CIC regulations, is it possible and legal for an international student to work in Canada when on leave of absence from school? What are the possible options available for one who can not raise tuition for second semester after taken first semester and would love to raise the cash in Canada?

thanks, so LEAVE OF ABSENCE has no effect on one's study permit. In d new regulation, I read an International student must be ACTIVELY registered in a school and CONTINUOSLY pursuing his studies for him t o ve a legal stay and work in Canada and leave of absence is a break in studies so will dt not ve effect on study permit and ability to work in Canada? cc Siga JJCE: it depend,.i thought you can work on campus and make some cool cash, but it seem you can't work off campus until u meet up with require gp in your first year... |
