That was exactly how they asked him about inclusive government and he started talking about how he was going to treat a section of the country that gave him 5% votes different from those that gave him 97% votes. Same thing when he called Nigerians criminals. Always answering questions he was never asked. This is what even hurts me more that he didn't even need to cast insults on Nigerians when he does. Buhari hates all Nigerians and he can't even hide his disgust. He believes he is doing us a favour by being our president and that's why he comes down hard on every form of dissent without even thinking about it.

Under GEJ, cost of crude oil was between $75-$110, cost of fuel was #87 yet total subsidy spent, wether legally or illegally was on average just under #1trn per year! Today, cost of crude is just under $70, cost of fuel is a whooping #145 and now we just learnt that subsidy (call it under recovery or price modulation or whatever you like, it is still subsidy) is #1.4trn per year! Tell me how this is logically possible?

@OP, by what indicies do measure human capital development? Education only? Health? Ease of living and business? Security? One of the above? All of the above and much more? Cos it seems you are just hammering on education only of which as a whole? We are under educated in Nigeria. Zamfara state has 24 fed govt hospitals and only 23 doctors only. The story is the same for most core northern states. Down south, there are more doctors than hospitals can take. When the doctors are posted to the North, most resign and travel out of the country. Go to US, Canada, etc, even UN operations around Africa and the middle East are populated by Nigerian doctors. Cos Southerners don't feel safe working in the north. So once again, I ask you, what are your indicies for human capital development measurement?

@OP, have you ever been to the North of Nigeria? Visit there, study things, then come back, read what you wrote up there, then apologize to Mr. Bill Gates and other more exposed Nigerians.

This is what they want to avoid. The APC cannot in all honesty, hold an elective convention. If they do, the party will die hence this tenure elongation to avoid a convention. But will this move save the APC? We wait and see...

This does not matter for two main reasons.
1. The death rate in the north is about 5 times that of the South and life expectancy in the north is way lower that in the South so there are still more voters in the South than the north.
2. Culturally, women are not allowed to come out for any reason, not even voting so apart from the cities, women don't come out to vote.

Compare the numbers between 2011 and 2015, Buhari had 12 million votes in 11 and 15million in 15, Jonathan had 22million in 11 and 12.5 million in 15, despite all the under aged voting. Jonathan did not lose to Buhari's votes, he lost because of the 10million voters who refused to vote in 2015.

So it doesn't really matter how many under aged votes Buhari gets, if everyone gets their PVCs and truly go out to vote, Buhari can't win without adequate support from the south..

The truth is, Edo votes for persons, not party right from 1960! Last election, though APC won state election landslide, national election was taken by PDP. It all depends on who the party brings forth. Come 2019, if APC fields Buhari, they will lose woefully in Edo State.
That said, it's clear that Obaseki is doing well. At least he has vision. He's proven to be way better than both Igbinaedion and Oshomole put together. So if he keeps it up, 2020 is sure for him regardless of who is president.

That's how they were talking about increasing generation capacity before elections when our real problem is transmission. How can the full Nigeria be dependent on one grid where Scotland alone have 3-4 grids? Our total transmission capacity is 6k MW and with grid failures and 200 million people to feed, even if they increase tariff till it touches the sky, it still won't be enough. That's why they will never comply with metering houses cos if they do, all the discos will sink. Assumed bill iS what is keeping them afloat. If we were to pay for only what we use, there is not enough to go round so how will discos survive? We need to decentralise our grid and increase its capacity first then we work on generating enough power to load on these grid and only then can we truly calculate what consumption cost should be. Any other thing they are doing now is just chasing shadows.

The DPO sent 8 mopol, mostly northerners to negotiate with the fulanis in the bush. They went there, spoke fulfude with the Ardo, shook hands with them thinking everything has been resolved. On their way out, they were ambushed with barrage of gun shots. 4 officers died that day. After that, the commissioner of police came to Abraka from Asaba and lead men to root out the murderous fulanis. The fulanis ran away to Obiaruku bush.

This story rubbishes all u said about the fulanis being peace loving. They are heartless murderers, have no respect for men of the law, destroy farms without remorse, etc.
