The Lagos State Government has reacted to a viral video where pupils were seen in a flooded school assembly ground, WonderTV Media reports.

In the video, the pupils of primary school age were seen singing the national anthem, knee-deep in murky floodwaters.

However, in reaction to the video, the Lagos State Ministry of Education on its Facebook page stated that the building has been demolished and being built.

When i was living alone as a young man. There was one particular week that i was damn broke. No money on me except #1000. I use the money to made yam porridge.

But can you imagine that i turn the yam porrigde into soup?

I beg my landlady for garri, she accept and i made eba with it. Using the yam porridge soup to step it down.

May god help us all

long ago i looked around all i had was yam flour at home, i used it as thickner for soup with just onion, maggi, pepper, salt and oil. then i did amala and ate. But now God don punish poverty for my life oooh nah dieting dey worry me now

Failed Campaign Promises: Katsina Man Changes His Daughter's Name From "Buhariyya" To Kausar (Photos, Video)

A man identified as Yahuza Ibrahim Niga, who named his daughter "Buhariyya" after President Muhammadu Buhari, has changed her name to "Kausar" over what he described as "failed election campaign promises", IgbereTV reports.

During the 'name-changing ceremony' held on Friday, July 23, Ibrahim from Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State, said that during APC election campaign in 2015, he had promised to name his child after Buhari because he believed that the President is an honest man.

His wife, who was pregnant then eventually gave birth to a baby girl and he named her Buhariyya in honour of the President.

Ibrahim said he decided to change his daughter's name to Kausar because President Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, failed to fulfil the promises they made when they were seeking for votes.
