And long before now, we had agreed to visit the much talked about Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC). We settled for Saturday, 23rd March, 2019. We had agreed to meet up at the popular CMS bus stop at about 10am, but as Lagos traffic would have it, we left by past 11am instead from the bus stop where we boarded a bus headed for Ajah (at N200 per person). From the Lekki toll gate, the journey was traffic free and in less than 14 minutes, we had arrived our bus stop (Chevron) from where you can see the Conservation Centre toll sign post.

ikorodureporta: Nigerians are not allowed to enter or order food at a racist Chinese restaurant called Shi Shi in Lagos, The PUNCH has reported.
The PUNCH reporter visited the restaurant to find out the claims made by some Nigerians on social media.
The restaurant is located on 21B, Emina Crescent, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
Respondents on a social media post about the restaurant say only Chinese are allowed entry, though findings showed that Nigerians and other Blacks are allowed patronage if they are accompanied by a Chinese
When our correspondent visited the restaurant on Tuesday, he was accosted by a guard in Army combat camouflage and prevented from entering the restaurant.
“Who are you looking for?” the guard, a Nigerian, asked.
When our correspondent responded that he wanted to order a Chinese cuisine, the guard said our correspondent was not permitted to enter.
The guard also quickly escorted our correspondent out of the premises, saying he was only following instructions.
It was gathered that the restaurant operates from 11am to 4pm daily.
When The PUNCH Correspondent sought to speak with the manager of the restaurant, he was told the manager was not around.
A restaurant official, who declined to give his name, said, “The manager is not around.
“Since you’ve dropped your card, I can assure you that he will call you to respond to your questions.”

National President AFED, the umbrella group of private schools that serve the low-income members of the society, Mr. Emmanuel Orji, told The Nation that the group had no records of the school’s membership.

Dear All, good evening.
When I first met my woman, I met her decently dressed, since she is from a Christian background, likewise my very self.
But as time goes on I discovered she puts on dresses that are either too tight or too short. I have corrected her in love several times and even reported to her parents, she adjusted for a while and continued again.
She even promised to stop such dresses because of our baby girl.
This time around she put on a very short gown that makes her look like a prostitute on her WhatsApp profile.
On seeing it, I replied that I am ashamed and disappointed in her and as a result I refuse giving her the money she demanded.
She knows why I was angry and why i made such comment and instead of her to apologize she told her mother that I said I was ashamed and disappointed in her, her mother called me to ask me why I said such, I explained to her that its because I have been correcting her on her dressing but this one was too bad, she said OK and that's all.
Its over 5 days now I have not heard any thing from her and her mum. So I just kept silent too because the last that happened I was the one that called for a meeting with her parents to sort it out.
This time around I may not do such again.
However, if there is a better way you can advise me on this I will appreciate. Since her dad may not be in the know.

I hate it when guys refer to any of those as 'my woman' shows a lack of confidence to call her what she really is to you that is btw though. anyway since you said when you guys met she was dressing decently (to me this is relative sha) it could be that she started dressing otherwise to spite you so you can give way, she needs fresh air. so if you do not like her present way of dressing you better cut the relationship off now abeg and she will find someone who appreciate her and not her dressing.
AutoReportNG: It is no news that the Lagos state government is really to roll out about 800 new BRT buses on Lagos roads. These buses will help to relieve Lagosians of the burden of transportation across the state.
Last year, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode said plans have been firmed up to roll out the Bus Reform Project of the State Government in March with 820 high and medium capacity buses, saying that the initiative would redefine public transportation and make the State to be globally competitive.
The Governor, who said this during an extensive inspection tour of ongoing projects across the State which lasted from morning till late in the night, said the initiative was basically designed to inject 5,000 buses, modern terminals, facilitate ease of mobility for residents and also rev up Lagos economy, among others.
The Lagos Bus Reform Initiative is aimed at giving Lagosians an integrated public transportation system. It would kick start this year with 820 buses for Phase 1A which is the Ikeja Transport Hub and it will cover places like Ikeja, Oshodi, Abule Egba, Ojota, Maryland and Pen-Cinema

1. All the buses are equipped with CCTV cameras 2. They have USB points where you can charge your phone, etc 3. All the buses have free wifi (internet) for all users 4. There is never a dull moment for passengers as the buses all come with TVs for news, sports, music, and entertainment. 5. So, thinking of going on a tour? Maybe a BRT bus won't be a bad idea.

The two artisans, Kwaku Akorli, 51 and Hope Hortor, 28, were tied to bamboo sticks and submerged in a manhole filled with water after they were accused of stealing iron rods. . . They were, however, rescued by the police after a distress call. When the duo were rescued, they were very weak and struggling to catch their breath and were rushed to the hospital. . . The owner of the building, Manasseh Adzroku and his two accomplices, Victor Harrison and Collins Amoako, have since been arrested by the police.

The contractors handling the projects were seen with their workers on site on Thursday when journalists went around Benin metropolis to inspect the road projects.
The workers were seen with their equipment on Ugbor-Amagba Road which covers 13.8 kilometres, according to the contractor.
Major reconstruction work is ongoing in parts of Government Reservation Area (GRA) in Benin City, including Boundary Road, as residents expressed appreciation to the Governor Obaseki-led administration for taking advantage of the dry days to fix the roads.
Speaking to journalists at Etete Junction on Adesuwa Road, Assistant Supervisor, Heartland Nigeria Limited, Charles Erua, said they are rehabilitating failed portions of Etete Road.
Erua explained that "after fixing this part of the road our men will move to 1st and 2nd Ugbor as well as other roads in the axis.”
It was gathered that the 109 roads have been grouped into axis; New Benin, GRA, Sokponba, Okhoro, Medical, Agbor Road and Upper Sokponba, Ekenhuan, Siluko and Agbor Road in Edo South Senatorial District.
Others are in Edo Central and Edo North senatorial districts.
Recall that the state government carried out a major audit of bad roads in the state recently, to update the existing data on the conditions of all roads in the state.
