More importantly ma, in what research aspects do you think Nigeria can compete and would edge out peer or more developed nations?
Honestly I'm not sure, maybe Microbiology or Food Sciences, we don't have enough labs or power to do much. Private labs can do something but there's a reason research is so expensive.

Only God knows what this guy has done to his career with this move. And he was like British next rated with the catalogue of projects I was seeing him in.

Hope the bag was really worth it.
When I saw the casting, I lost all interest.

I dunno how the actor thought the audience will let this slide, seeing as how entire sections of the internet kept destroying other actors who were race or gender-swapped.

This is not the time to accept such roles: everybody's eye is hot especially Caucasians. They fully believe they're being erased in population and media (true or false) and are willing to destroy any minority to protect themselves.

I hope he can still make it in his career.

That British university is a moderately crap University. Go and read Brit forums, they're usually insulting Coventry (I saw a thread where Brits were telling an American who wanted to apply there to save his money because internationally it wasn't a strong degree). It's an average university at best

They're coming here because they were a sort of diploma mill for immigrants. Only a few of their courses are good.

If we really want to benefit, we would be talking to Cambridge, Imperial College and Oxford, but those ones don't need our money.

Some British secondary schools are moving here for our money: Charterhouse, Rugby, Wellington. Nigerians can't get visa, forex is too pricey plus England is deeply unsafe for Black kids so the wealthy flooded the top Lagos and Abuja schools with their scions. And the British schools felt the financial loss so they're moving branches here

This your last statement only sounds true but it is a false narrative.

Talk to any head hunter (recruitment company) in the corporate world and you'll realize they poach staff from other companies. Will you say, "If you left your old company, you will leave mine too." or "For the time you are still here, let's achieve success together".

Your challenge is probably that you dilute 2 separate qualities together; CHARACTER, which you seem to favor, to COMPETENCE, which brings tangible progress.

Note:
Politicians favor COMPETENCE. Simple.
Well, you have a point.

But I still maintain that betrayers aren't trusted. If your boss poaches you and he goes through your CV and realizes you move onto the next company quickly, he will know you're useful but not a long-term person he can rely on. And that's fine.

But Wike is still too much of a loose Cannon and he doesn't seem to have much power left, I don't think he has any Governor backing him even.

It's the same thing with Ibori and Igbinedion: no power outside their states. Our SS people no dey try. SW politicians will be influencing other states, Northern politicians understand the game, SS and SE can't work with each other so they're the weakest.

I wish Saraki had gotten ticket instead of Atiku, he's more marketable than the rest.

But Wike's a loose Cannon and has clearly proved he is loyal only to himself. And he did play himself into a corner: nobody in APC wants him in their midst, they run a tight shop already (this current version APC is Tinubu's party and no longer the Northerners' own).

Nobody can trust him in PDP either.

Nobody can trust a betrayer, not even the people he used his betrayal to support. "If you can do that to your former comrades, you will one day do it to us"

Nobody in their right mind would give Wike a ticket, he will be the worst VP because he would want to be an Acting President.

Look at all the commontion he's causing in Abuja and how he was openly fighting Fubara. He's noisier than every Minister but with a small portfolio

Tinubu did "bring your enemies closer" and gave him Abuja so he could keep an eye on him, whilst pretending he is important and Woke fell into the trap because he's not a clever or cunning man, just loud with brute force.

Which is why Wike is refusing to leave PDP, he has nowhere else to go (if he enters APC, they'll clip his wings because he's finished his job: breaking the SS and destroying PDP).

Saraki knows PDP will be stronger than ADC so he's trying to figure out how to neutralize Woke and get ADC to be the new PDP and if he's smart, he'll attract the young leaders ro enter PDP

Hmm. In these days of insecurity, is easy identification of a child's school still a the best thing? I remember an instructor in a security training I once attended warn parents about posting their children on social media especially in their school uniforms. He said a child was once kidnapped at school based on that mistake.
I actually think it's better to have kids in uniforms that can be identified.

If a child gets kidnapped, that is a fast identifier: "we are looking for a child wearing a Igbobi Primary school uniform". Everyone is on the lookout because the name or logo is printed all over. Even abroad, lost kids are identified by their face and what they're wearing in the 1st hour, because the police know that kidnappers will try and leave the area before changing clothes.

If a child is misbehaving in public: "we saw a pupil of Agbara High School acting up o,parents be warned".

What parents should do is keep their social media accounts locked if they post their kids. Why must I show 22,000 random strangers about my kid (unless they're performers of some sort)?

i dont know of any school where this long story applies

these are my comments

i doubt if an actual parent wrote this article. reads like a chatbot article - long verbose and full of errors

the only real complaint parents have is the COST of private school uniforms
The mainland schools are not as bad but as for the schools on the island and those on the mainland who want to compete with the island schools...yup

I used to struggle to remember which day was which colour 😮‍💨: Tuesdays and Thursdays one colour, Mondays and Wednesdays another colour, Sports wear, there's a mainland school every Friday is a different shirt (they have 5 or 6) with jeans.

Catholic schools tend not to be as bad but they have a Friday wear that is a sort of printed ankara with school logo and maybe a Saint's logo (which I kinda like).

Come to think of it, almost all private schools in Lagos adopted a version of this once the big private schools started it some years ago with no explanation except "won't this be fun!".😓

If I become Minister of Education, I'm banning blazers and polo shirts and we will only use locally sewn and printed materials which are usually lighter and more durable.
Education › Re: Are Modern School Uniforms Slowly Losing Their Importance by Onegai(f): 6:15pm On Mar 24
SisterAnn:
Thank you for this article Op.

Because a particular school has different color uniforms for each day, it becomes difficult for an observer to properly identify the school the child attends when you see them on the streets. It's very confusing.

Those days, you could sight a child from afar and be able to tell which school he attended by the color of uniform.

This helped in monitoring the kids against bad behavior because you can quickly know which school pupils they were and be able to report to the school.

The most painful part is that some of these schools are not able to avail all the uniforms to a new entrant at the beginning, so you see pupils from same school wearing different colors of uniforms on a particular day.

The aim of uniforms which is to foster uniformity in identity has been defeated.
This is the fault of Private schools copying the top Private schools in the country, who themselves were copying British schools.

The Catholic schools and Schools in locations that are predominantly catholic, old-school and Middle class still maintain locally-made uniforms with printed names on it.

And those uniforms are better quality than the ones we used to buy N15,000/pinaforte for schools in Lekki, Lagos (they were from George or the cheap big uniform store in the UK and the quality wasn't great).

The imported polo shirts were thicker to the touch but faded in a year, the local ones are thin but never fade and are a polyester blend more suited to our weather.

Blame Lekki private schools for a lot of annoying trends you see in education. If you move out of Lekki, you'll realize you're paying a lot for exposure rather than quality education.

This has got me shocked.l am speechless
It's kind of happening subtly.

I keep seeing (mostly Igbo) Nigerian women who are marrying White men (mostly from off-beat countries like Croatia, ROI, Sweden and then popular places like UK and US) that they met online. It pays them better because Emeka will come back from abroad, marry them and leave them with his elderly mother in Nigeria as a care-giver. At least Ivan will move them abroad sharply. And Ivan, who was struggling because women in his country don't rate him, now has a wife grateful that he rescued her from a third-world country

Laotian girls were marrying rural Chinese men and Ukrainian girls are always chasing city Chinese men. Northern Nigerian men that carried off SE women, their kids are always fully Northerners.

If you want to increase your population via immigration but not change your demographics, don't allow men to come, let their women come only. Ruthless but hey, survival of the fittest.
Travel › Re: Eight Countries Offering Cash Incentives To Attract New Residents by Onegai(f): 6:30am On Mar 21
Guys, they don't want japa.

They don't want Africans or Arabs flooding those places and changing their demographics. Nobody wants to be like England and Germany with a heavy immigrant population that refuses to assimilate.

If they will take Black people, they'll probably look for very educated Black single women and somehow try and figure out a way to deny them any visas to bring in husbands or any men.

Forcing the women to marry their citizen and breed biracial kids who will further marry their citizens and the 3rd generation becomes fully white again.

So population increase without demographic change.

Now that I think of it, these countries can actually do that o. Give PR to single educated Black women for 20 years, no citizenship and tell them only children born in their country can get citizenship. Those countries usually don't allow net migration so even if she has an African husband, he can never become a citizen and there's no way he can get PR, he can only get visiting visa.

Then tell their white citizens "we're bringing women for you, oya go and marry". Some South Korean govt officials tried to do this and I know Chinese local govts were doing this (for SEA women).

Coventry University is ranked 70th in the UK and 532nd globally.

It's middle-to-low tier school and it has low prestige. It isn't a diploma mill but it's not somewhere employers will look at and be rushing to employ its graduates when better universities exist.

Coventry is coming to Nigeria because Nigerians are going to start being refused visa to japa and they may not survive without foreign fees and it's not just them that do it, other universities do it but they target countries with weak tertiary institutions and poor passport strength. UK netizens don't rate them👇
https://www.reddit.com/r/UniUK/comments/1kzv1qz/which_university_offer_should_i_accept_coventry/

If they go to China, they'll be laughed out of the country because Chinese universities are better and even foreigners quietly admit that the Chinese kids doing undergrad abroad couldn't pass Gokao in China.

Also, we should be securing partnerships in research to support our own tertiary institutions.

Finally, not one single advanced country developed their university system by importing a foreign low-tier university, they improved on their own.

Sigh.

(All of them are looking for excuses and justifications for their presence in the UK, instead of them to admit it was a jamboree to flex).

N160k a month isn't bad.

He'll need to work super hard and make time to learn his solar and CCTV business whilst working as a personal driver. People go to school and work at the same time, all the time, it's do-able.

I'd say take the job, give himself 3 years with the job so he can save up and be learning his solar business on the side. You never know, his Oga may need to recommend someone doing solar and if his driver has done his job diligently as the Lord commands us in the Bible, this could be a big opportunity.

Thanks first of all for understanding the question.

Thank you secondly for starting from Nigeria then moving on to global examples.
We don't really look at this when applying to universities in Nigeria.

What I've heard in Nigeria: Consultants don't really rate Unilag school of medicine (LUTH). I've heard enough complaints and even at that, they rank then higher than a lot of med schools in SE. Uniben gets higher ratings. From what I've heard, Babcock is pushing their School of Medicine to be ranked higher (hiring more consos and carrying out more advanced surgeries).

Ade Babalola used to be seen as a decent school for specialised Engineering like Robotics, nowadays Pan African University is being mentioned a lot for specialised Engineering courses (Mechatronics etc). I don't know how good they are.

When it comes to Art, Dem no dey rate Unilag, but ABU Zaria, Yabatech and Uniben faculty of Art used to be ranked high.

Nigeria tends to do "This Church/Course/School Is Reigning Right Now" rather than actually sitting down to evaluate and rank. Plus everyone's egotistical (people will soon mob this thread and declare that their state school outside one village that doesn't even have Starlink can rival Cambridge).

People are hoping that Augustine Catholic University will go very well like how Catholic Secondary schools are usually ranked higher than others.

It's very hard to get real rankings for Nigeria, for Primary schools to Universities.
Education › Re: Which is more important? The Course you studied, or School where you studied? by Onegai(f):
Depends.

The course you studied can be more important if it is for certain industries: employers like hiring Engineering grads a lot more, even if they're not an Engineering firm (unless it's a specialised company)

The school you studied can be more important: employers used to love Covenant University grads because they felt they were the best grads being produced in Nigeria, followed by University of Ile-Ife grads (employers believed that is a very rigourous school).

Abroad: Engineering employers will take MIT and Purdue grads over a Science student from Harvard. Tsingua University grads are usually mobbed internationally (because ranking aside, everyone knows it's a VERY hard school to enter). John Hopkins School of Medicine grads usually are looked upon favourably. Mention you studied at Oxford or Imperial College and Nigerian employers will hire you on the spot without asking what you studied sef
Career › Re: 5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Stay Long In A Private School As A Graduate by Onegai(f): 4:57am On Mar 16
To be honest, schools are profitable business in any country. But countries serious about Education won't rely on private schools to advance it.

If I am ever made a Minister of Education, first thing I'm doing is shutting down any private school with less than 200 pupils. The proprietors should go and learn a trade and leave education business.

Next, all schools should be registered, with strict testing and regulations for students. Don't meet the mark, govt takes over your school and turns it into a public school.

Finally, Public School teachers should be paid handsomely, trained with Foreign staff and made to sign contracts that they stay with the Govt school for 10 years. Then govt schools will be equipped well, any materials they need will be subsidised but private schools will pay full price for it. I'll do my best to deprive private schools of quality teachers and equipment: e.g public libraries, govt kids enter for free, private schools pay admission fee.

I want to slowly dismantle private education, funnel that talent into public education and then drastically improve the curriculum and welfare packages of teaching staff.

There's not much room for growth in private school but at least their staff should see annual salary increase. How can you work for someone for 10 years and you don't earn enough to buy a small car? That's Nigerian culture: Use you until you quit and run

Parents are to blame for this mostly, followed by the school and then by society.

Everything may be lawful but not everything is expedient that's what the Bible says.

In trying to be empathic parents whilst also living our own lives enjoying ourselves, we've dropped the ball.

Lord knows there are things I wanted my children to do, in trying to give them a break to rest from schoolwork, that my mum had to call me about and insist on discipline.

Private schools are run as businesses which means making a profit matters more than quality, so the Admin and owners prioritise paying students over teachers. Teachers also get frustrated and take it out on kids.

Nigerian society is deeply unhealthy.

I read the Guardian article and exactly what I thought of (see below): Black Africans being angry that affirmative action is removed because they are the biggest beneficiaries, rather than Black Africans, for whom it was meant. Now, Black Africans have to compete with East Asians for spots on merit rather than get an undue advantage because of their similar skin colour to that of African Americans. If affirmative action must be in place, African Americans, not Black Africans, should be the sole beneficiaries.

That said, there are other elite/top rated universities aside from Harvard. For specific high-earning industries (see below), there are even courses at specific universities you can study to break into them. It must not be Harvard. Also, Caltech is a thoroughly good school. A one-time WASSCE highest scorer during the early 2000s did either her undergraduate or graduate degree there. Unfortunately, I cannot recall her name nor the article I read it. cry

I agree with this, but sadly in reality: they did not take advantage of DEI for themselves and let immigrants and 2nd gen immigrants and white women benefit from it.

Because those guys sadly were the first "school na scam" believers. The society pushed sports and arts so much on them, it was crazy. And white society told them that was all they were good at. I'll give some examples:

My sibling went somewhere and some kids were playing basketball. They looked at his car and started asking if he was a music producer or what sport he played. So he told them his job and every single one looked confused, because nobody, NOT one person in their entire community would study a course every Nigerian parent dreams of their kid doing. So if they didn't take advantage of scholarships for that course, Naija kids would take it.

Same with my nephew: he moved from Loyola to an expensive private school internationally and the school started pushing him into sports more than academics. Then I realized that the same thing was happening in Canada and UK. One Naija- Brit lady made a reel about it and warned parents, because her mum had to push back at the school: "my daughter's grades are good, why do you keep suggesting she focuses on athletics?" (Trust Naija parents).

Chris Rock summed it up: "I'm a top earning comedian yet my neighbor in my nice neighborhood is a white dentist".

Sports and Entertainment are hard to break even in yet they keep pushing it onto Black Americans, meanwhile Africans are sharp enough to know it can be a trap. No. 70 on the ITF list isn't richer than the 200th best Surgeon in America.

The saddest thing is that Sports and the Arts require crazy levels of talent and dedication but any sport or music genre dominated by mostly Black Americans is usually demeaned. Old school Hip-hop was poetry set to music but they struggled to be accepted.

And yeah, just because a university is high ranked doesn't mean a particular program they run is high-ranked: some schools with good pedigree don't quite have good STEM programs or maybe their high ranking is for their Business school or some other. Employers usually are the ones who know these things.

You said: "I can show you schools that outperform this".

My response is: "SHOW ME".

I'm also in Education too.

The AMERICAN EMBASSY IN NIGERIA literally acknowledged Loyola as producing the first perfect ACT score in West Africa in 2020 in this post: https://web.facebook.com/watch/?v=595873024494921%2F
You say other schools are doing this, I'm speaking about recognized standardized tests WAEC, JAMB, SAT, ACT not small competitions here and there that showcase one or two students

I have attached a screen shot of their JAMB performance. For someone in Education, show me a school where 89 students write JAMB and only 4 students score below 300. If a student was 85th position of 89 in class, they still had a score above 300. That record is unmatched anywhere!

You say you can simply train a student for the Ivys. NOT TRUE. SATs are a test of IQ. As with every IQ test, you can train the child to attain their maximum attainable score (essentially the max score their intelligence can help them attain). College Board (the makers of the SAT) state that the test has been designed to ensure students scores correlate with their actual abilities regardless of the number of times they take the test. Ivy leagues accept only the best (if you're not a wealthy legacy donor) and their average acceptance scores are always VERY high. Extracurriculars don't carry nearly as much weight with international admissions.

Coincidentally, speaking of Ivy league entry (for wealthy often white applicants), this Guardian US article was authored by a Loyola Jesuit Alum: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/nov/17/harvard-university-students-smart-iq

I have also attached a screenshot of the last full WAEC ranking ever produced. WAEC was courted by private schools to stop producing rankings because it was affecting their businesses apparently.

If you are told that Loyola has produced the best JAMB and WAEC more times than any other school and you still claim there are schools that have better records. Drop them here. LET'S SEE THEM

You claim your Nephew went to Loyola, yet you did not know that Loyola fees were well over 1 million since 2010! Miss me with that

If you know about Loyola, and if you read the wiki, you'd know Loyola is not your typical catholic school (because you seem to be generalizing a lot). This school was built and run largely by American Jesuit priests up until 2010 when they handed over. At the time, you had professors from Jesuit universities in their teaching staff. The President, Fr Pat Ryan, was the one time Vice President (Chancellor) of one of the biggest universities in New York, Fordham University (where Donald Trump and Denzel Washington went to univ) and a former lecturer at Harvard.

Loyola has pedigree. I'm not speaking about other Jesuit schools in Nigeria. This is specifically about Loyola Jesuit College.

I call the drug thing BS. First off, if a child was abusing drugs at home for whatever reason and other parents knew about it, the school would have heard, and that child is not stepping Campus.

A school that expelled the daughter of a sitting northern Governor in 2012 for simply having a cell phone on campus in 2012, you don't know the half of it.

Finally, there's a reason why every year over 2500 kids from across Nigeria and outside sit for their entrance exam to have only 100 students accepted (That's less than a 5 percent acceptance rate). Parents know what they are looking for, Entry is only in JS 1. There are no day students and they don't accept transfers into any other classes.
Sorry, no vex

I don't know anything, I never travel, I never school abroad, I no even fit afford am, na u and only u, I stay in Mushin and googled it, am not even catholic, wetin I know, Am Lying about my family attending the Almighty Loyola (some of them attended more expensive schools than that outside Nigeria, but you know me better than I know my own reality so I must clearly be lying).

I thought their policy was to let latecomers in and punish them. That would be better, as it is exam period. Unless parents are abusing that system too.

There should be a 15min grace period after xhich latecomers are either sent back or punished appropriately.

If you take the 1% of families in every country and send their kids to the most expensive schools in the country, and are able to afford to pay for good tutoring, extra-curriculars and the perfect Ivy League coach to get them into top universities. And top companies in the world usually go to top universities to hire.

So though it's good, I'm not impressed by all that. Because that's like saying you trained a talented athlete with the top coaches, the best nutrition and the perfect system and they went on to win medals at the Olympics. What did you expect would happen, biko?

Impress me with the kids who went to Government Comprehensive, Mushin, struggled to eat twice a day yet still ended up at Google or a tech firm in Shenzhen or doing research at Imperial College.

Don't show me a well-trained horse and then ask me to applaud because it is doing exactly what was expected to do.

(PS: it's easy for me to figure out you're a former staff there smiley Before you japa, please consider staying in Nigeria and offering your services to one of the new schools in Lagos who are serious. I may know of one or two).

Have a blessed day🖖

Only Loyola Jesuit has produced more stellar grads than the others. For those who want their children to be grounded in mathematics, stick to Catholic schools. Globally, Catholic Schools are generally strong in math pedagogy.
Catholic schools are good at traditional subjects like Math and English in general but that won't cut it when they leave Nigeria. And almost every school in Nigeria is poor in Science.

(In my opinion, the top school in Nigeria for Math is Graceland Port Harcourt, the Head of Academics runs a good program).

I wish I could share more of what I do but I want to stay anonymous here. I'm in the industry and I always tell parents: "it's up to you, you can push my efforts but if you don't push my efforts, your kids won't excel".

My nephews and nieces attended the top Grammar schools in the UK and I know how much effort was due to their mother being a private tutor for other kids trying to achieve that same goal.

My anger at private schools in Nigeria is not really Academics (though e dey, Science is rubbish here). It stems from the fact that there is no discipline. My generation (I'm telling upon my age here cheesy), in trying to be different, more loving and Western-oriented than their parents, are ruining their kids.

Kids are shitty at the Teenage stage and Naija kids are bullying and pressuring each other about who is using the most expensive iPhone.

Why are you spending that much on a phone, for a kid?

What are you teaching them about Finances, contentment, delayed gratification, entitlement, working hard to earn stuff?

What nonsense is "I can afford to give them that as a parent, mind your business!".

Why are we spoiling these kids?

I'm not sure where you got this information from but Loyola Jesuit has never had any substance abuse problem. Loyola is very tightly controlled. You step a foot out of line, you're expelled. No questions

Saying Loyola "has now become a school for the rich". Loyola was 200,000 naira in 1996 when it started. It was over 1 million 15 years ago. It is now well over 6 million.

It has always been that school to attract the best and brightest children from across the country. Do you know the former Governor of Kano state and APC chairman (Ganduje) had kids there in the 2000s and 2010s. Likewise, Oshiomole (former APC chairman and Edo State governor), Rochas Okorocha (former Imo state governor), Adamu (former Nasarawa state governor), Oni (former Ekiti state governor), Abike Dabiri, Patrick Utomi (Labor Party presidential candidate), Dieziani Madueke (former petroleum minister) and several senators and prominent politicians. Ambassadors as well (Umboimobhi - nigerian ambassador to switzerland) and so forth.

My point is, Loyola has consistently being one of the most disciplined schools in the country yet they've never had corporal punishments from the start - no flogging or cutting grass etc. They place more graduates into top (ivy league) universities in the US than any other school and they are still the most selective secondary school in the country. They hold the record for the best American College Test results (the first perfect score in west africa in the test), the best SAT results, the best JAMB result more times than any other school (the most recent, Eyinmofe Adebayo in 2022 who is now at MIT, and highest number of WAEC 'firsts' after Lumen Christi in Uromi in Edo state. When cowbellpedia was a thing, they produced the only student to top cowbellpedia in the junior and senior categories. As at 2020, well over 80 percent of every graduating class schools in the US, UK or Canada. Not sure what the stat is now

Did I also mention it is arguably the most diverse school in the country? As at 2020, they had students representing 28 states in the federation. More than half of the school (about 400 of a total of 600 students) live in Lagos, Portharcourt, Enugu, Benin, Kaduna, Kano) and a good number of Nigerian parents that sent their kids from Abroad (UK, US, Canada, even Angola and South Africa)

The icing on the cake is, you NEED to go on linked In and see where their Alum are working, several are at Google, Facebook (Meta), Amazon, Microsoft, the big 4, Mckinsey/BCG/Bain, Deutsche Bank etc. Many hold MBAs from Dartmouth Tuck, Harvard, Stanford, Chicago Booth etc

You may take a look at their wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loyola_Jesuit_College. I guess you need to be certain about what you post before you post. I have no idea what goes on in other schools
Thank you for whatever this was.

But I am unmoved by this, because I can tell you about schools that have outperformed all of this.

My kids' school, they use my kids to boast about Academic prowess. They won't tell you it is because of their parents' background and efforts (I'm in the education sector and allow me to say, if you saw the program I run for my children at home, you'll wonder why I still bother sending them to a physical school). I see that a lot with several schools.

My nephew went to Loyola.

The student that had the issue, it was from the medical person (who wanted to send her child there) that found out.

Loyola and every Catholic school is tightening their grip, same as other schools. But it's not enough until they can whoop parents in the butt smiley

Human beings are human beings o

Nigeria has a problem, a societal problem. And one single place cannot outrun a societal problem, that's like saying Nigerians who are corrupt in Nigeria suddenly become saints because they work in your company in Nigeria (even abroad with stringent conditions, they still try to game the system).

But thank you again for this very long profile for the school.

Edo state has not been able to solve this problem. Really sad. In that state sadly their parents willingly send their children to those country for prostitution.
It has been decades Edo state has been fighting this issue, Eki Igbinedion (Lucky's wife and 1st lady) carried it seriously.

It has become part of the culture of Edo state now, parents will willingly send their kids to Italy or Europe to "hustle", parents will happily build house and buy cars and land with proceeds from trafficking and prostitution and Yahoo and proudly boast about it. Same parents will be crying profusely if things don't go well with their kids in the industry.

But will they stop? Never.

How can they stop, when Iye Nosa just built a duplex in Ugbowo with proceeds from her Yahoo son's work or Papa Ehi just bought his 1st car from his daughter's work in Italy?
