Wow some people are messed up. So because a child is counting from 1 to 100, that also means he or she must be able to count 1 to 50 backwards? I am now beginning to understand the high level of functioning illiterates on nairaland!
shows how deluded you can be sometimes. You should state your points instead of resorting to abuses and such. Asking a kid to read in reverse is to test their skills and see if they are just cramming or actually studying. |
I guess this needs to reach fp. It seems bad mouthing is what most Nigerian ccompanies now know. Just imagine |
They are over burdening the child. Don't be suprised most of what they teach these kids is route memorization and nothing else. A kid that can read from 1 to 100 would fail if you ask him to read just 50 to 1 backwards. Also most of then know 20 times 20 but just place three cups on one side of the table and another on the other side and ask them whats the total and see how dumb founded these kids would be. |
I was expecting the fedex logo....And you did justice to that. |
beau49: Hello house....PLS I NEED UR HELP! M currently doin a course n my instructor installed my course notes on my system buh wen I tried 2 openin it nuttin happened....can sum1 pls hlp cus I need read 4 my up comin test.what software or what package. Give more details. |
all4naija: As long as it is compatible with the HARDWARE Identification it will work. Excepting there is no existing VGA driver for the chipset.I know that quite well. What i was trying to insinuate up there was that direct download and installation won't work because of compatibility issues. He tried downloading the driver directly and upon installation it will always give you that operating system not supported even if you use the backward compatibility feature on win 7. The way to go is to use other methods. But anyways i guess he has resolved it. |
pheesayor: The swift router is working fine, when connected firectly to it or through wifi, everything fworks fineCheck this link.. Might be of help. Click here |
afegbua: i tried that before..i unistalled the vga driver and the display went very big as if the screen was too small..i instaled the one i downloaded and it told me that my computer cannot work with it and then the installer was exitted automatically...i had to do a system restore for it to return to its normal display size...i have deleted the driver i downloaded since its not compatible vga driver download this chipset driver |
@bolded that's y its very hard for people to tell that I'm not happy coz of this face I try to put up for everyone, hoping that one day things will change for the better.. But its not I don't understand y this is happening to me .. I hear u..
Living in denial of what life really is ain't too good. It makes life superficial .I am not saying you shouldn't pose as happy to everyone but seriously sometimes we all need someone we can share our "little" problems with. Hiding behind a beautiful smile will not make it go away. Also do remember the down trodden. Your problems ain't small nor is it too big but always look for positives in any situation. |
all4naija: 1. First and foremost, right-click on your 'Computer' at your desktop and click 'Manage'.it won't work.. The vga card is not supported by windows 7 and intel never made a windows 7 driver for it. Even if he stop it in compatibility mode it won't install naturally except he extracts and locates the driver from there. Which he has done. |
Feels like nothing is going well with me.. I've messed up at young age I've really tried making things better but it seems like I'm just making things worse..I don't no how I do it but sumtyms I feel like I'm cursed.. Suicide has crossed my mind alota times, sometimes I wish that a car could come from nowhere nd take my life.. |
afegbua: Ok thanksfirst uninstal that standard vga adapter. Next click on the video controller and install that driver you downloaded earlier using the method of accessing the folder you extracted to. Your vga driver is not installed . Its just the system default that is there. |
maclatunji: Tbaba supports the Information Technology approach, so we are making progress. What other tools would we need to make it a success? Let's put heads together, this is becoming more interesting.I smell sarcasm. ... ;-) @sissie Thats very commendable. Jazakum. |
maclatunji: It is better to do your best and leave the rest. As long as the majority are becoming better, there is little point to beat yourself to stupor over a few individuals.few individuals you say? Maybe you should know that this is becoming more common. Even if they are not marrying non muslims they are lamenting the fact that there are no muslims coming after them. What do you think? Should this be left to the "to each his own" treatment? Or should we be looking at facilitating something that can intervene? As for me, the little i could do is to work on developing a localised muslim dating site or app. I would leave the rudimentary to others if they are willing to take it from there. I understand mac that we can't solve all the world's problem but we shouldn't also sit when we can make an appreciable effort. |
joywendy: please how do i delete a trend. am still a new bie i need help. plssssssssssclick on modify and clear all you typed. Change the topic and type just a dot. |

About the family fun thread, I've bee following that silently. Its a faceless forum and you don't have to give personal details and such. Although you are entitled to your privacy but just hints on what you feel would make helping easier. We don't know you and can't imagine what you are going through except you tell us. |

maclatunji: She did not have to wait but if you are looking for "Mr. Perfect", you should be willing to pay the price, don't blame that on Islam.I know people have to sacrifice but please lets be realistic and try be in the shoes of these ladies. We all know the temptation, pressure the society puts in their path. Islam encourages early marriage , so sacrificing time shouldn't be a criteria. Also we do all our levels of resistance and endurance. The question is since we know all these problems do we let them pass through all these torments and added challenges just to show how strong their faith is? Why can't the society address the anomaly. Its not something that hard. It's just about facilitating an halal avenue for these muslims to meet. Its easy for you to wait. ..you are a guy. You have control over your waiting period, but these ladies most times don't have control over this as they have to wait for a man to come knocking on their doors. |
Niranking: pls bro,i'm using hp x2 mini laptop,i used it well b4 i swith it off,so abt to on it again it not showing jst d indicator light frm cap lock and small button around del side was blinking, pls help me out.thkshow many blinks? |
beecool: how do i fight this feeling of emptiness that seems to be invading my mind. Don't tell me to hold on, because I just can't anymore. I feel like I'm at the point where I have to end it all.maybe you start by talking about things that make you feel empty. We can take it onwards from there. |
maclatunji: In the end, it all still boils down to faith. Is there anything that prevents a lady from waiting until she finds her ideal man within Islam? It would be weaknesses in faith.we do agree they shouldn't compromise on their religion . But do we allow them go through that 'torment' by waiting till eternity? |
maclatunji: Trust me, that society can do much better starting with making salat compulsory for its weekly programme. What is the use of gathering people in the name of Islam every week when a large chunk don't pray subhi and won't pray Zuhr either? Yet, they feel satisfied that they are sincere Muslims.i do agree with these. Most times the leaders of such congregations turn a blind eye to these basic things and harp on the asalatu part as if it supercedes solat and so on. |
brightk: I heard intel has an office in lagos..does anyone know the address. their website is not comprehensive enough...i need to get some intel xeon processors.....i de fear otigba and dia brodas... lolNigeria Lagos Sterling Bank 7 Alfred Rewane Road; Ikoyi, (formerly Kingsway Road), Lagos, LA, PMB 40032 Victoria Island: Landmark 3/Floor, Africa Re Building Plot, 1679 Karimu Kotun St, Victoria Island, LA |
runzlord: the errow i get is 'you dont have permission to view this' i can only play music and view pictures. I can view my documents but i cant open them cos the apps dont run.right click on the local disk c and select properties. Under permissions tick allow editing and other features. |
maclatunji: However, if you select mass marketing, you might end up with people who are neither here nor there. There is a very popular Muslim society that has this problem. This is the problem. We criticize just for the sake of it. No human endeavour is perfect. Although this society you are refering to have tried their best in allowing the environment for such interactions instead of sitting on the fence and allowing things degenerate. Although i believe there's need for more realignment and improvement but atleast we need to give them kudos for doing something about the status quo. Also mind you ,the organisation can't be solely blamed for ills you might see but the intentions of some of their members. You can take a horse to the river , you can't force it to drink from it. |
Also i guess the ladies should start forgetting this old schooled ideals of waiting for a man to ask you out. If none is forthcoming and you find a man worthy why not take your destiny into your hands and do the asking ? Does it change anything who asked who out? It doesn't mean you are desperate. It means you value your happiness and is willing to take steps to achieve it. |
