Twinsoris: Thanks onegig to my surprise is that i have two of this laptops that have the same problem and a friend also has a sony vio that has the same problem but some body told me that under the nvidia graphic procesor there is a two diodes in which i need to connect it the two directly and this will stop but i don't know how to go about this and the guy is very far away from ivory coast he is in senegal.
And what i discover is when this problem occur is that the nvidia graphic driver is always remove automaticatically and when i try to reinstall the grapmic driver the problem persist again , please if there is a reliable computer technicians in lagos that can solve the problem for me i don't mind to come to nigeria afterall i am a nigerian as well and i do visit my parents nearly every three months.
i am ready to pay or he should give me his mobile number to him.

But look at this. There's no two diode underneath a graphics card

If any engineer should help you reflow it, It MIGHT still develop same problem. Why not buy a new board instead of continously spending on something that might fail any moment. You can get a new board for as low as $80-$90.


Or better still get a new system..If you however still insist on going on to repair..

The screen resolution change didn't stop the blinking problem.
The device manager shows that video card is installed.

One more thing I noticed is that after shutting down, only the display goes off, the system doesn't. I always have to shut down by pressing the power button

Can you revert back to windows 7?

I just saw the word notebook you wrote there. Even windows 7 struggles on those mini not to talk of graphics laden windows 8.

Twinsoris: please my fellow mates can anyone comes to my help i have FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO 2548 which has problem of graphic each time i am using it on window 7 system the screen went blank sometimes white and sometimes blackish colour as if it have sreen problem.
after googling i use the vapour machine to frost the NVIDIA graphic processors and it works fine and after sometimes it started the same problem....please what can i do.

you actually did re flow it yourself? Hhmmm:. .go get a new board. If you re flow it might work for few months before going again.

thats not to good. Might even damage the screen. First thing. What screen resolution is it? To get this right click on the desktop screen and click screen resolution. Drag the place holder back to 800 * 600. Next go to my computer, right click on the white space and choose properties. Click on the device manager link at the top right corner of your screen. When the device manager loads please check under video.. Check if your video driver installed?

I just installed windows 8 on my notebook and since the installation completed, my screen has been blinking continuously.

The system is:
Hp compaq
NVDIA
Processor: 1.60ghz
RAM:3gb
System type:32bit OS

i used to be of same view few years back. I never liked ladies with the large burka due to the many women i see adorning it but early this year i had one experience that changed this view. Met this lady in one, she talked to me with so much confidence and her diction was awesome. Although i couldn't see her face because she was behind a veiled face.. But her outlook and appearance struck a nerve.. My view about things changed drastically... And wouldn't mind if she does want to be veiled. I guess her fiance needs more exposure. She should talk to him and make him see reason. If he loves and respect her enough he would change his views. I hope he is sincere enough....

my phone was on multi tab and i didn't close the page. I guess thats why you still saw me as viewing the thread...

I did un follow the thread and that was a personal decision but as a rational person i have always happed on the fact that i would never allow someone's behavior or action influence my decisions thats one. Secondly i was on the general religion forum and when i checked below i saw lots of usernames and guests viewing the section but fast forward to the muslim board and check underneath.. Only two users and 3 guests were viewing. I looked at this and thought if i were to leave thats another minus one for muslims in this section..if everyone should leave who's gonna remain. I might not post new threads or rebuttals but my reading is enough to keep the board alive. We are family . Truth is this thread is the only thing that mostly brings me to the board and i won't leave because someone feels bad about what i said or didn't say.

What transpired was a none issue which a simple i am sorry would have solved but we are humans and arem't infallible. Its not about agreeing or disagreeing. Its about respecting others the way you want to be respected. No one wants to have such derogatory words like dumb, illiterate, un lettered,Clueless used on them whether directly or indirectly. I don't hold grudges against anyone and was even suprised the way it degenerated so fast... . Ma Salam..

Nokia dropped the ball i agree.
But i maintain that if they had diversified and got into the game running multiple OS, they would have cleaned off the market.

These guys had Africa, India and Europe markets in their hands. they had the distribution and they had the contacts. The mindshare was at maximum level. who was samsung when Nokia was in charge?

Samsung etc were like rank outsiders making cheap flimsy rubbish. every serious minded big boy bought a nokia. and they had every segment locked, from high end to low end.

Imagine what nokia would have brought to the android world.

Versatility, battery life, camera, ruggedness and others....

But they choose the foolish part... I used to use a windows mobile 6.5.

Bluetooth transfers were so hard with those OBEX protocol or whatever microsoft named it.

We all have been asking for more views from other muslims and i can say categorically that the way someone here responded to a friend here made her un follow the thread. If he had rephrased the question more subtlety i guess she would still be here and her comments and understanding would have been beneficial to all.

He shouldn't make unsubstantiated claims without backing it with facts. And i do agree with you on that.. But there are better ways of asking for such facts without sounding rude or subduing that persons point of view.


About the subduing word....Not in the actual sense of the word but like trying to call the bluff of someone's point of view without bringing a better counter claim to the table than the WORD "YOU ARE WRONG" based on what i believe in.

Its simple the point of contact on the board needs cleaning. I mean the slot you connect the keyboard flex to is either faulty or dirty. Since you changed keyboard and this has not fixed it then the problem is from there.
