go to tools -options- privacy. Click clear all history and cookies. Do a disk clean up also.


Also Most likely it is due to a
conflict in self signed
certificate that you added as
exception in Firefox.
Close Firefox & delete C:
\Documents and Settings
\<userAccount>\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
\<userProfile>\cert8.db. This
will basically remove all the
exceptions that you have
added earlier.
Note: At times I had to delete
the cert_override.txt file too
from the same folder to get
things working.
Open Firefox again, you should
be good.

dudkko: please house, i need your help .files in my external hard drive develop short cut on the files while i was trying to access them. each time i click any of those files it will ask me do i want to delete the file (yes /No). if i should click yes it will remove the file or folder to the recycle bin. please what can i do as i dont want to loose my files as they are my back up. any advice is welcome . i will appreciate. your files are intact. The problem is caused by a virus which turns active folder and files to shortcuts. Here's how to resolve it.

runzlord: i upgraded my system 4rm windows 7 to windows developers preview(fake windows 8 i bought by mistake) and now my partition C is no longer accessable. Neither by me(an administrator) nor by the SYSTEM.
BTW where can i get windows 8 or 8 pro original cd.
I ran windows 8 advisor on my system b4 i bought the cd. And my system was good to go! Buh it cost much + the size is too much 4 download.

I use fujitsu semiens amilo li950 notebook. Originaly came with windows vista.

I stayed uncle's place for a few months once and before i left, his daughter started wearing hijab by the will of Allah. It wasn't as if i did anything spectacular. We are all at different levels and we have to realise that. Sometimes we fall and get back up.

I feel many times, religious muslims do not give the required support to people not so grounded in deen. Sometimes they are too forceful or think of themselves as better. May Allah protect us.

And yes, there are many muslims whose outlook on life are not shaped by Islam but i know that some of these muslims do not feel accepted in religious circles. Sometimes, it just takes one reminder to go pray. Nouman Ali Khan did not use to pray when he entered college (university), one brother took the effort to remind him to pray one day and he has not missed a prayer ever since. Now he even teaches the religion to people.

That said, we still need innovative ideas to ensure that muslims get the support to get married. There are zero institutions for this. Muslims are involved in haram relationships all over the place.

We need to create these institutions that will assist muslims get married.

You couldn't have said it better. Most are always too judgemental and often times make people feel guilty. We need to start learning the subtle ways of getting people to do the right thing rather using Villifying words against them. Some even go as far as calling them unbelievers thus alieniating these set of people.

Also a lot of other things have to be taken into consideration. Like the hard liner stance of some muslim organizations which should be the breeding ground for such islamic interactions. There's a clear disconnect between this orgs and a large group of female muslims in the sw as they are being chastised and insulted because of their moderate views. I have friends who would never attend an mssn meeting back then because of how the group members don't accomodate them and how hostile they were to them. So most prefer going solo and this limits their chances of meeting genuine muslim brothers and so on. However a new breed of organisations are springing up but the response is still very low.
I fear things would keep going on like this until something drastic is done

ask yourself what is video controller and what vga driver is. Don't confuse yourself with those terminologies. Just take a screenshot of the device manager page and upload.

afegbua: I already done that and it says the best VGA driver has already been installed..i uninstalled the former VGA so as to pave way for the one i downloaded and my screen display became unusually big, i did a system restore to make it small as it was..guess what i need is 'VIDEO CONTROLLER' not VGA adapter cos in my device manager, they are separated and Video controller shows 'Not iinstalled'.
Any help on how to get the video controller would just put an end to my worries right now..pls help and thanks.

i didn't mean courtship. I mean you have seen her mahram and there's an interest and negotiation going on. All those networks are not better than the other. Imagine mtn charging me for caller tune when i never subscribed. So tell me what's the 50 naira for? And why would i pay for a service i never ordered ?

Again why should those that believe
that Nigeria ought to break up be subjected to so much suspicion, ridicule, contempt and insults from those that do not share
their views? Some of the questions that need to be answered are as follows- firstly is our union working? Secondly is our marriage a good one and if it is is it a happy one as well? Are we satisfied with what has essentially become a country that has been turned into nothing more than (with apologies to Chief Bode George) ”Turn by Turn Nigeria?” where each ethnic group simply looks forward to enjoying its time to control the
federation and all the nations resources from an all powerful centre? Are we not meant to be far more than this? Is this what the founding fathers of our nation envisaged? More than anything else the recent igbo/yoruba debate over the issue of the status of Lagos state and the deportation of a handful of igbo destitutes back to the east has proved to me that we as a people are very different from one another and
that our interests may be better served if we are no longer bound together as one. I dare to voice this opinion even though many yorubas share it but will not say so publicly. Is it not time for us to begin to accept the bitter truth that our marriage is uncomfortable and unhappy and that it may not have been made in heaven or ordained by God? Is it not clear that each region or each nationality ought to be able
to develop at their own pace? Is it not time for us to have a confederation of nationalities in Nigeria and to restructure the country drastically to give maximum autonomy to the various regions and nationalities or indeed is it not time to just break up and go our separate ways?

Many may disagree but one thing that I believe that we can at least agree on is that perhaps it is time for us to be courageous enough to begin to talk about these issues openly and debate them. We must not sweep our differences under the carpet and ignore them as if they do not exist but instead we must find the courage and muster the resolve to acknowledge them and understand them. As far as I am concerned this is the challenge of our time and these are the questions that needs to be answered. Whatever happens in 2015 and whoever wins, whether it be a northerner or Goodluck Jonathan of the south-south, I see blood on the horizon and I see disaster approaching. We must
open up the space now and consider the unpleasant assertion that the price that a united Nigeria attracts may not be worth it because we are getting nothing but failure after failure as our return. I do not have the answers and I do not claim that I do. Indeed I may well be wrong which is why I would be interested in hearing the views of others and particularly those from the younger generation who may see things
very differently. Whichever way it goes and regardless of what we all think let us not allow this debate to be driven by ignorance, pettiness, hate or acrimony. Let us not insult one another here or act as if any tribe or nationality are angels whilst others are demons. Let us join issues and exchange ideas in a civil, restrained and decent manner without hurling any insults at one another or allowing our emotions to becloud our thinking.

At the end of the day we all want the same thing- namely, what is in the best interest of the Nigerian people and what type of arrangement will allow them to achieve [b]their full potentials? [/b]That is the issue and that alone. Over to you.

that driver is not made for windows 7. That video card does not support windows 7 so you have to tweak it. Go to my computer, right click and select properties. When the next page opens select device manager, when the device manager said loads click on video adapters . If your video card is already drived as standard vga then right click and choose upgrade driver.. Select upgrade driver from location. Navigate to the location you extracted to and select the folder. Click ok. It would automaticablly install it.
