My friend, most land in Lagos today is already "leased" by ibo....not owned!! Money and power are 2 different things thats why Ibos badly want to be president. Familiarise yourself with the law. All land puchasesd after 1975/6 is leased land, What you have is a certificate of occupancy or right of occupancy which can be revoked at any time by the governor. Good reasons for revocation include security reasons, of for instance secession and national interests. So all those Ibos thinking they are buying land in SW are only leasing the land. Develop your business and we will collect the taxes.

The only people who own land in Sw or Niugeria are those who bought their land before land use decree of 1978
