marveouz: is it correct to say that honesty and truth are parts of the elements of good leadership?Lastly, when you're invaded. You defend. If you are caught off guard, naturally your sole purpose is to defend yourselves against that attack. It common human biology of flight or flee. Simple as that. Who attacked whom first? Did Biafra attack Nigeria or was it the other way around? if Nigeria did not attack a three day old nation all because of oil disregarding what the people of that newly created nation wanted, would biafra war ever have occurred? |
Balkan: You all should not waste your energy on this publication. The so called Ozodi's mother is from Osun state in the family of late Pa Oluwole Oladimeji. So his yoruba? Explains alot. No wonder. There was a time I emailed this man several times trying to get him to answer some question and the nigg@ ignored it. I f2king knew it. I said it before, did I not? It made no sense how a man that claims to be Imo state or wherever continues writing bs all the time, always narrating the same sh1t we read from yoruba bigots on NL. I once said the man should come out of the closet, stop being a coward and say who he is without fear, no one would attack nor judge him |
I didn't even bother to read the main article. Osuji has always been an attention seeker for a very long time. The guy isn't a credible anything, talkless an educated psychiatric as he claim. For him to address Chinua Achebe is actually an insult to Chinua himself. Chinua sh1t is above him talkless his entire body, mind and spirit. He's not even fit to wipe Chinua Achebe's butt talkless of standing in the same room with him or even addressing him. Osuji, no matter how much you try you'll always remain in a nobody. The only people that pay attention to himself are mad men like himself; evidence on NL. In Igboland, they say when wise men talk, we should listen. When crazy men that I've been running around shouting at everyone speaks, run away before he bites you. The only thing I came to address is the whole whether Biafra had child soliders. To address some have long been saying and ignorant people playing too hard of hearing to listen is that yes, Biafra had child soldiers but they were limited to minor jobs such as cooking, cleaning and spies to nigeria, etc. They had an age limit for war front but not an age limit to join the army. Go read Ngozi Iweala and Phillip Eweagwali account on the Biafran war as a child solider if una want to get information, not history changing nigeria has long been trying to make. The worst a child solider got in Biafra was becoming a spy against Nigerian government because when the Nigerian government caught those children, like the heartless son of bitches that they are, they usually dug the young children eyes out despite them being a bunch of kids. Go read Ben okafor account of the event to get incite on that side of child soldiers in Biafra. Unlike Nigeria, where people were forced to fight on their behalf, forced to support them or tricked and lied to to support them, everything about Biafran army was volunteering. If a child wishes to join, which almost all Biafran soldiers where volunteers, they weren't deny the access to do so because those children felt the need to defend their people, family, etc when Nigeria invaded Biafra (again read Ben okafor story on Biafra). At least it's better than the Nigerian soldiers shooting at civilian children in effort to subdue Biafran soldiers as oppose to fighting the soldiers, going into civilians house and cutting off mother's breast so they couldn't feed their babies leaving the baby to die or dragging young boys out of their parents home and shooting them like they are rats and forcing their parents to watch (again heartless sons of bitches). Doubt me? Go watch the movie Tears of the sun and read any article you can find about the Asaba massacre. Lastly, I need someone to answer me this Since when are grown @ss men like this https://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m617/photobucket398/biafransolider.jpg addressed as children? Nigerians and their effort of rewriting. Tufiakwa!!! |
afam4eva: So, if someone from Anambra says something about me, will that make me to start forming my own ethnic group?Afam4eva you guys do not realize how much impact that word has. Many of the deniers go along the route of "I'm not Igbo" because of that two words. Remember that one statement from obi of owa, he said something like we are stretching our hands to reconnect, it is SE Igbo that are holding back and. refusing to reconnect. I can't remember he's exact words but it is something similar to that. The term "fake igbo" kinda gives the impression that una do not see us as one of you but rather a set of ppl that have no identity and trying to force ourselves onto una. Which sadly, I've witness many SE igbo even the usa born say. Few months ago, i went to a Nigerian gathering. It was mostly delta ppl, one yoruba, the girl from imo state, an onitsha chick and my sister and I. The conservation got into about delta igbo. Exactly the same thing you started a topic on, why are delta igbo not just called igbo. I don't remember what motivated her to say this but all i remember is the edo chick said something and the imo state girl said "well they are not igbo. They call themselves igbo" addressing that word to delta igbo. Sad thing is this girl was born and raised in usa so her mindset shouldn't be like that. Luckily, the onitsha jumped in and corrected her before we did. Yes that word, those two words have a lot of impact. It is idiotic to think like that but what do you except a person to think when you are constantly called fake, wannabe, etc. |

@ abagworo I'm glad you finally realized what i was trying to tell y'all earlier. Agbotean is one man with little to zero influence who wishes to make himself known. A person should know his fighting a lost battle if the most influential person in your community (i.e your eze, obi, your leader) disagree with you completely. He claims the community disagreed with the leader yet not providing evidence to support such disclaim. I've witness him calling names of ppl he claims agree with him and ironically enough two of those individuals I've met and had a conversation with so i know for sure those men are not in line with him thus making me suspicious of the other names he's been mentioning. Plus the whole bojiboji thing, and the new lie he's just made up to address Igbo boy hit something to me. The poor guy just hates the truth about everything thus feel the need to compensate in effort to uplift his hatred of his reality. Like I've mentioned before, If una want to know how people in any community in anioma think of themselves, just go leave with them for few months. Go and stay with them with an open mind, not a prenotion about them and you'll see something completely different from what displayed on NL. I noticed you started addressing the coup as a western Igbo affairs, which i know it's because of ignorant buffoons like agbotean that caused you to go that route but one thing i will like to inform you is do not mind the deniers on NL. We are not ungrateful. If not for the fact I know this community because it is my family. I will literally have the impression that the deniers in aniomaland outnumber the proud ones based on what i see on NL. The actuality is this people are minorities, we don't know how much we can stress it. On NL, it gives the impression that deniers among anioma community is 1out 5 but in reality they are 1 out 10,000 or higher. You can quote me on this and even go and ask around in anioma land if you want. This people exist we no go lie but it is kinda like onitsha. Granted some say they have met onitsha that deny being Igbo but it is super rare to meet them. Equally for us. NL is a safe heaven for am from what i can see that's why they come here. They are seen as lepers, most people avoid them back home but NL they got people that actually listen to them and want to fight them (i.e: SE Igbo), they got ppl that support them (i.e themselves and non anioma/Igbo that are clueless on the event but want to speak on the matter) so naturally on NL and the internet they are something but in reality they are avoided like a plaque. It kinda similar to the Neo-Nazi website when you go there you'll think the racist out numbers the non racist but in reality they are minorities. I'm glad you've finally stopped arguing. |
stupidity on the highest order |
cjrane: My brother,+10000 You said it all |
Eze Promoe: You don't understand the pride of being an Anambra man. I don't want my fellow Anambra men to start to see me as less Igbo tomorrow when Anioma people will begin their i-am-not-Igbo ranting. Those people are minority just letting you know. If that is the reason you fear becoming part of Anioma then that shouldn't worry you. |
There is nothing wrong with Onitsha joining Anioma state. Onitsha is part of Anioma. Historically and culturally wise they have more similarities to Anioma than the rest of Anambra. The decision on the other hand is on them and I know people of Onitsha, they would choose Anambra over Anioma. That is okay but people shouldn't be acting like there is nothing in common between the two communities. |
afam4eva: To think that not too long ago this same man was pro-Igbo. I think he has to be checkmated before he goes too far. I had a heated argument with him yesterday.I don't know much about the man but I have read one of his article and one thing that stood out to me in the article was where he mentioned we call ourselves Igbo but they call us Fake Igbos. Now reading this your statement that he used to be pro-igbo. It explains alot. Someone from SE probably said something that hit harder than a punch on a stomach. |
agbotaen: 1. you are just an igbo man from accross the niger , who does not have a basis ,but as a propagandist chose to call himself deltan or from delta north , you dont even know any thing about anioma area , and i dont care about your igbo agenda , but dont just bring it to ika nation as we will trash you like we did to your ancestors ,who stole our land during the civil war as ika people helped the nigerians to expel you biafrans ,end of story.our fore fathers have always rejected your igbo propaganda as ,the agbor/ika people rejected the celebration of igbo day in our area.I am here talking about do not compare Asaba to Bojiboji, you are not in our level, and this guy is here talking about bs sh1t I no care or worry over. Is English too hard for you to grasp. DO NOT COMPARE BOJIBOJI TO ASABA. It is not a hard statement to grasp, the rest of the story is of no concern. The calling me Igbo propagandist. Is that suppose to be an Insult? I'm Igbo ewu. Na your self-made ika propagandist I go be? Don't compare bojiboji to Asaba. To address the oil money building Asaba. STFU ewu. Asaba people built Asaba with our sweat and hard earned money. Asaba was an already developed area before Nigeria was created, granted Delta oil helped move it up but it is not the only thing that did it, we did it as well. To yet again, address this your self-made lies on your development or how more developed you are. I am even finding it laughable the communities you think you are more developed than. SMH. You really want me to disgrace you on this forum no be so? Stop lying to yourself, I will not even fight you, I'll let your own people fight you and bring you out of your low self esteem delusions. http://www.ikaworld.com/index.php?mod=article&cat=news&article=1063 http://ikaweekly.com/2012/11/03/why-has-the-government-of-the-day-underdeveloped-agbor/ |
Smart jeezy: U are from funny farm! When you wrote this, did you think you were making sense? How the f2k someone reply that to my comment and think it has a meaning stands as a mystery. Check the dictionary for what? Dude if u kno no how to insult, ask someone that does to help you out. |
Only one demand made sense, the rest is illogical. You instruct individuals to suicide bomb themselves and except the FG to compensate the family? You bomb your place of worship and you except them to rebuild it? I'm lost for words. Only the arrest the borno governor made sense. If they seek his arrest because of corruption then that's good, everything else, they should go back to the drawing board |
quid: Yet with all the oil, they will not leave Igbos alone. "Igbo this, Igbo that . . ."Oil is a curse in Nigeria. That's why i get so angry when i see igbos on NL shouting we have oil, we have oil. It irritates me. Why would anyone in their right mind let it know they got oil while still part of Nigeria. Imo, abia and recently anambra, i say it serves them right for illustrating how much oil they got. They got oil and just like ss, the oil money isn't even reaching them. They experiencing what ss is experiencing. Ppl theifing your wealth right underneath your nose and ain't nothing you can do but cry foul. |
aryzgreat: NEXT? only 5 comments but its on front page. NL! NL! NL! how many times did i call u? leave ndigbo alone!Did u forget the website you are on. It is NL, owned by a bigot of all time. Wetin u expect. What's going on in igboland concern this ppl more so than the food in their plate. |
If this is true then massob is being childish. If you do not agree with bzm, sit down with them and discuss it. Idk how analyze massob, whether thugs or just crazy. Personally, i believed declaration in nov 5 is too early. Knowing blood trigger Nigeria, they will send troops to any igbo state and start forcing to scream one nijeria. But i liked bzm approve better than massob. |
ijaw citizen: Ijaws reject 6 zones but opted for the creation of ethnic states in south-south.Please anyone please give ijaw their own state so make we hear word. GEJ help your brothers out, give them their fing state. Dude igbo ain't taking sh1t from una in terms of oil. I actually give u an assignment, name one thing the fg has done for any igbo community be it se or ss. answer: nada. We did everything our damn self. You better go and research why we started looking for oil in igboland and found them. That sh1t ain't reaching igboland and the ones we found in our land are equally stolen. Go and find out whose stealing your land oil, don't mention us again. |
gboss4sure: I have been on NL for sometime now and am astonished with the level of Hatred we Igbos receive from Nigerians especially the Yoruobas and I want to ask a simple question can someone give me a good reason why you hate igbos. Why do una continue opening stupid threads like this, no offense, all you people do is give this Yoruba bigot a place to run their mouth. It descend to igbo fighting back, annoyance come in, hell break broke lose, etc. sometimes i don't get una. Do you really even care seriously? I know know i don't but wondering do you? |
caseless: Gboss4sure, u and other few individuals from ibo land to nairaland are the reason why igbo recieve so much 'hate' on nairaland. Gboss4sure, the way and manner YOU, one-naira speak ill of nigeria, makes people to hate igbo outrightly cos they've discovered that u hate nigeria, their only country unlike u igbo that have an imaginary biafra alongside nigeria..other nigerians have just one country so hating nigeria amounts to direct hatred towards such believing nigerians . I'm a nigerian, i dont hate igbo...even as i dont like the fact that igbo single-handedly initiated d belief that 'hope lies in disintegration' and also taught nigerians how to hate each other along regional lines with their ballyhoo biafranic agitations. one thing is common among igbo; if you give them ALLOW , they will ask for ALLOWANCE.See dis fool that mention my name. Onye bu dis nkita? I see u before. Abeg nwoke cry till your eyes bleed that i hate naija. Na me be u? How is my feelings toward a f2ked country affect u? if you love a f2ked, corrupt to the t country and i don't. Why are crying more than me.Waaaaa one naira don't like nigeria that means igbo don't like nigeria that means they don't like me. Waaaaaa. Mschewww. Don't call my name for hea again. You yorubas need to face foward and stop trying to drag ppl to give una attention. |
2 million: Does she bleach when on make up?, because she looks dark without make up n light skinned after d make up....abi she d rub mary-care 4 body? Its a professional picture, they use high lightening during it. It just the light of the studio nothing more |
I hope una aren't using chioma as a representation of fine Igbo women. She is cute but definitely don't represent Igbo women that are fione. Check out vanessa obonna if una doubt me. Genevive nnaji for darkskin fione or dat model i posted in the igbo women thread, whatever her name is, now that is a darkskin, west beauty to the T. Oh that half igbo half ghana chick. Chioma is okay but she's not the best in my opinion |
How do u know she's Igbo? Well if na igbo, I'm not surprised, do not cheat on Igbo girls. They don't play, maba. If you want cheat, break up, cheat, then get back with am. I hope he learned his lesson. |
Without. First african woman that I've seen that looks good without makeup. |
lastpage: Jeezuz lord of mercy! When did ogoni become igbo. Wtf is that? There was never a thing called ogoni igbo, they never claimed igbo, never were they claimed by igbo as igbo. They are not Igbo. They are ogoni, they were ogonI in the past, they are ogoni in present, they would be ogoni in the future. Learn about other tribes for God sake. google am. Now you can go back to the wooing As for delta Igbo, biko nu. Leave us alone. Stop dragging us whenever una fight igbo. Leave us be, why una always mention delta Igbo every single thread about biafra. Ogoni kwa? Wetin una want? Always telling stories Igbo did this, igbo did that, blah blah, we liberated you, etc. Abeg free us from story, we've heard enough. Mschewww. Woo ogoni biko. Leave us alone. |
They would have made more impact if they protested in Abuja in front aso rock. I don't blame them though, you gotta start somewhere. Viva bzm, but try and be realistic do una honestly think the blood sucking Nigerian government will let Biafra go scout free in nov 5. Think about it, at least una got usa backing you up. Try and get more.world power like japan, uk, etc. |
Before i make my judgement, did he give them an alternative? |
c.fours:Keep telling yourself that if it makes una happy. There are many threads and many argument I've seen in this website by non igbo that says otherwise. I can post them if you want, there is a lot so it wouldn't be a difficult task at all . The only set of ppl i see defending Yoruba sometimes is north and that comes of no surprise. notice even on this thread, the only ppl commenting and mouthing off are predominately Yoruba and one or two north (two peas in a pod) As for the boko haram killings, just case you weren't aware, most ppl killed up north during the corp youth killing majority of the names listed were Yoruba. Wasn't it also the same thing for the bombing in one church, i remember the pastor did a triple jump or something, all i remember some used it as ridicule. wasn't it also the same thing for the Abuja bombing, etc etc. The difference between igbo and Yoruba is that the Igbo are very vocal about it even if they experienced the least casualties in some of the bombing. Was it not una that tried to shut down some of Igbo threads about the bombing by saying, there are more middle belt, hausa, etc killed than igbo. Seriously, u people like switching from one thing to another when it suits una. Secondly, the SA comparison. That's like the dumbest comparison, no offense, of course the casualties is more towards Igbo than Yoruba. There are more Igbo in SA than Yoruba duh. That's like i saying since most Nigerians arrested, locked up, deported and attacked in uk and canada are more Yoruba than Igbo, thus it proves they like igbo more. SMH at how some ppl reason. As for the aboard statement. Wtf is wrong with you people? Dude don't f2king lie in effort to elude yourself. The nigerian gathering in my area are organized by Igbo which shouldn't come as a surprise since there are more igbos. The same applies to anyother area where so and so are organized by the ethnicity that are highest. Not surprising that in DC, the Yoruba organize most of the gathering since they out number others while in MD, despite being so close to DC, the Igbo organize the gathering since they outnumber others in that city. The same for texas, opposite for atlanta, etc, etc. it won't come as a surprise if hausa or other north organize the gathering in Saudi arabia since they most likely out number others there. |
alj harem: Yes the person that said that WAS RIGHT.Was i talking to this stupid eediot with multiple id that run to every thread about Igbo like a nosey little dog. Are u in nnenna? Let me tell you people as someone who know ppl in terms of business especially igbo. Half of fam business partners are SE Igbo. Most Igbo that go to SW and north go their because they have the belief they can easily outdo the indigenous of that land in their land. Which so far has not failed them yet. It has nothing to do with greener pasturners or bs una have been telling una self. Take it from someone whose family have business around east and Midwest, whoSE interacted with others with business all Nigeria, whose seen family, friends, etc close their business in specific areas and once asked why, the reply they give. Who, thanks to NL, started asking family, friends, etc why they have their business here or there. Sometimes i wonder why do you think they easily left during Biafra with zero remorse or thought? Why do you think they plan on leaving once Nigeria seize to exist, unlike some of the sh1t una tell unaselves? Trust me on this, they don't see ur land as a greener anything, they just see it as easy money unlike places like onitsha, enugu, warri, Asaba, akwaibom, etc, etc . That's why i find una comical, maybe that's cause i know the truth thanks to NL Yoruba way of chest beat. If not una, i probably wouldn't have started asking ppl why they have business here or there, etc. Lagos is about the only place i know they go not because of how easy it is to out do the indigenous rather they go there because of the seaport and keep it there because it's too expense to send back down East. As for the fact, please post them and i actually mean post them. Don't make it your usually i have fact and when asked to provide, you run with with your tails behind your back. I want fact that Igbo living outside of SE and I'll extend to my hometown as well make more money than those living in their actually region. I want fact that the Igbo outside of SE out numbers those living in SE. I want a statement that said that actual wiped. I want actual FACT, not your hearsay, provide them. |
nnenna.1:Anytime i see it i always wondered. Sometimes some claim places in their region where few Igbo migrate to as having high Igbo populace. I once had an argument where one claimed there are more Igbo outside of SE than in SE. I busted out laughing, one cause idk how SE got into all the argument and two, who the f2k is living in SE. When i stayed Onitsha, it was densely packed and i wonder who the heck they were if their very few igbo in SE. I just find the whole thing comical, i would have thought SE Igbo would too but maybe una don't. I know for my fam, as Igbo, when they start business anywhere in Nigeria, it's usually cause they think they can easily outdo the indigenous there. It haven't failed yet. |
Biko umu ndi igbo. I would like for once to open a thread about Igbo communities and not see una arguing over who is Igbo, whose dialect is better, etc, etc. biko. Ogoni kwa? Why can't una ever get along? As for whether ukwani is Igbo or not? Why is it NL that i see sh1t like this. No where else, anyway as I've said many times to the Igbo from SE that let NL give them impression of a community, if you really want to know the truth, pack your bag, go there and stay for awhile. Find out what is true or not. Shikena. You people don't need to continue arguing wen you can easily go and find out what's reality. |
