Isn't it shame the people in that link are still better than the Fulanis of today despite today being a more advanced world than theirs.  They were better off or should I say superior to the fulani of their time and the ones of today.  Now I ask, In what village is Fulani/Hausa superior?

Well according to your warped logic, Adekunle fought and defeated Biafran civilians leaving the soldiers to enjoy their garri Gabon. When will you stop lying?
What have you been smoking? I did not say anything,  I repeated what HE( adekunle) said. The people in his custody were not soldiers but civilians, unarmed civilians.

@ One_Naira, Every Nigerian is considered my "brother" including you, whoever said Ojukwu "defeated" the Ikemba during the war was embelishing as the HOS couldn't have gone to the war front to fight.

The Ibos destroyed a lot of stuff and killed some innocent people in the course of their occupation of the Mid West, it didn't stop the Mid Westerner from haboring some Ibos when the Federal forces retook the place, we need to let that part of Nigerian history go my man.

There are some people that would call Achuzia the Biafran equivalence of Adekunle, many people had no clue what Adekunle had to deal with, most of the soldiers on the 3rd Marine Commando were not Soldiers prior and had to be trained by him while trying to fight a war as well, I am not holding brief for him but I did read somewhere he ordered a soldeir exuted because that soldier shot and killed a prisioner of war.

Let's not even go into the EVENTS that eventually lead to the war, our eyes are in front because it is better to look forward than backward. The South has a COMMON adversary, think about it for a second.
You all can narrate as much as you can on Adekunle did what needed to be done.  Adekunle in my opinion was not a warrior, neither would I view him as a human being.  My opinion isn't based on what happened in Biafra war but what he spoke about in this interview alone.  The man showed his colors on this interview simple as that.  If Achuzia, a man you mentioned did an Interview similar to Adekunles and even openly admitted to have a hand in evilness all because of his hatred on one group,  my opinion of him would be similar to that of adekunle.

Secondly,  as for middle-belt  I have no clue what occurred between Igbo and MB due to the fact both groups narrate different stories such as

Did you say overdoing ithuh I laugh in middle belt!

Are you aware that during the genocide in benue, they rap-ed our wives and daughters and they forced our fathers, brothers and younger ones to watch!! and after the evil they killed almost everybody only the extremely lucky ones escaped and for our pregnant mothers, they budtchered them and pull out the fetus and feed them to the dogs! are u aware that they enforced the food blockade to the east more than any other neboring states!!

Do you know y many igbo women are in the houses of tivs, idomas other middlebelters? its because they abducted our women and many are forced to follow them instead of dieing of starvation!
differs from what you say.  Do I care to research the truth, most likely in the future I might but as of now, I stand neutral to that.

Colin L. Powell declared that the Iraqi force of more than 500000 in the Kuwaiti theater is "sitting there dug in, waiting to be attacked and attacked it will be. ,  First we're going to cut it off, and then we're going to kill it,"

Adekunle on the other hand should have provided Biafran soldiers with palm wine and pounded yam according to your logic.
Did this make sense to you?  Colin L. Powell statement clearly stated the people he intended to attack were Iraqi forces, not even iraqi civilians, but forces which if you knew military terms means armed individuals.  Adekunles statement clearly mentioned the people in his custody were NOT Igbos, neither were they armed but he intended to starve them just incase there is an igbo among them.  How did you correlate Powell to Adekunle?  Not only is this an insult to America, it is also an insult to Colin L Powell.

The mark of a true soldier! The war ended and he moved on. If you want to carry on fighting with your mouth until you are grey, that is your own cup of tea.
He did what he had to do.
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin True soldier indeed. He did what he has to do by starving civilians he captured all because they might be Igbo even though he knew the people in his custody weren't Igbo. A soldier that did interviews, running his mouth rather than fighting, soldier that was kicked out by the same people he fought for is a true solider? If that is your definition of true solider well more grease to your elbow.

@ One_Naira

I thought Nigeria comprised of the same RACE of people and as such how could a fellow Nigerian be called "racist"?

You don't appear to be old enough to understand the Military hierachy at that time to say Ikemba as a Lt. Col. couldn't have know of another Lt. Col. even if he was commossioned before Adekunle, Ojukwu commanded OBJ in Kano before the war after OBJ came back from the UK while Adekunle was in Sandhurst.

Fix your bitterness my man, the Edos seem to have forgiven the Ibos for the brief occupation, bitterness kills my man.

Nigeria remains one despite DIVISIONS among it's people,
Another hypocritical attitude of course, did i expect less? did you even read what I replied to?  Re-read it and you'll understand what my reply was about.  It has nothing to do with whom ojukwu knew prior to the war but who he knew and fought with during the war.

Adekunle was a racist, a tribalistic and a coward.  My age has no factor to understand that adekunle was of these characteristics; the interview speaks more about him than anything. Only a tribalistic would've made such a comment as he did on the interview and only a racist would've refused to explain himself farther to a white man as stated on the interview and only a coward would starve and attack innocent civilians all because of one ethnic group as he stated on the interview.  I found it insulting that you even dared to ask me to fix any bitterness I might have for that pig.  For your information, I never even knew about the bastard before and if it wasn't for the Yorubas up here I would have never known him.  Therefore, whatever bitterness I hold for him came out from your brothers.

Care to further explain?  What did Igbo do to Edo?

As a soldier, he trounced all biafran generals, on the biafra side, probably only Achuzia came close to Adekunle in wartime tactics
Yoruba can celebrate this adekunle all you want but please stop making up lies.   Adekunle and Ojukwu never met in the battlefield, Ojukwu did not even know who he was so how can he (an unknown man) have a hand in anything ojukwu did.

if new york can be bombed, what is lagos? choose your enemies wiser next time, this is not 50 years aog, we are in a age of motorcycles, bombs and strips

Do you think they would care? They already doing that to their own people. All that would achieve is providing BH an excuse to attack more innocent Yoruba up north.  Why do you think no other Nigerian group is retaliating in such away?

The so called boko boys have remained faceless in their attack throwing bombs with nylon bag only to kill a little number of people.OPC approach is agoing to be a reprisal approach, all we need to do is to identify all hausa/fulanis settle in yorubaland and invade them.you dont need bombs to kill an identified enemy, just go on head-cutting spree !
Your solution is to attack innocent men and women whom happen to be Hausa/Fulani all because of Boko Haram?  What differentiate you from Boko Haram?

Why are Yorubas so obsessed with Igbo affairs? SMH, ndi-igbo this is why Igbo land is divided, you people fight with mis-informed non-Igbo all the time.  They intend to draw a wedge between your brothers in south-south and eastern Nigerian and you let them. No wonder, Eastern Nigerians have this sadden ability to insult their brothers in south-south with ease. This conversation should have ended after agbaworro, igbo_boy, etc. came and informed you all how they or their family members whom happen to be from that region and many more of their people view themselves, everybody else, unless another ikwerre,  shouldn't have mattered.
