I really do not know who to talk to rn and this has been disturbing me. I am so confused rn.

Our marriage is less than a year, we are not pregnant yet and my wife sat me down to discuss the issue last week. She said i should allow her try with another man outside our marriage to see if she will be pregnant. I asked if she's asking for a divorce and she said no, she wants to try with another man while still married to me.

Why she'll come up with something like that and even had the guts to tell me still baffles me. We've gone for series of tests in a space of 7months and nothing seems to be wrong with me.

So I currently work with one of the top commercial banks and I was posted to one of their branches on the mainland very close to my place of residence. So I incur close to zero cost of transportation, no traffic issue, no stress. And the salary is 100k, no promotion in sight, career growth is uncertain and the role isn't really great for my CV. I'm a teller.


Last week I did an interview via zoom because of the nature of my work and I got another job, but on the island. It's a private equity firm and the pay is 150k. The cost of transportation for the month is about 20k. There's great career growth and opportunities for self development. However, I fear the stress of going to the island and back daily. Waking up as early as 4am sometimes and coming back home late.

Please advise me on which to choose. I have till Monday to decide.

Long story long: Normally conji never hold you. Na you go still use your hand apologize for her fuxk up when the time is ripe.

Concerning the issue you raised, there r ways of pointing out a person's wrong without stepping on feelings. For example, my babe once told me my idea on a certain goal I had was B.S and I felt bad.

One day she did that again and that was when I called it out and reminded her that this was the 2nd time she's doing so and it is disrespectful.

I told her she was being insensitive to my feelings with her words because I don't call out her bad cookings instead i finish the food with a smile sometimes. So it's wrong for her to call my ideas stupid without proferring a better option.

2 things happened here- she took a mental note that I held an unspoken 'grudge' about the first time she did it and secondly, I let some of her mistakes slide because it's not worth it being confrontational over small issues.

About the salt level while cooking, this should have been thrashed out in the dating stage already, why now?

I hate salty food also because it's just slow poison. So I go dey warn you ahead of time even before you start the cooking to avoid salt say I no de chop salt because of BP and I won't eat much of the food after the first fews spoons if its salty. After series of fights, sit downs and admonitions, my wife has finally make some adjustments on the salty food issue.

We had a little argument last week and i demanded she apologise as it was obvious she's in the wrong. She hissed and walked out on me. We haven't spoken to ourselves since then and she seem comfortable with that.

As for the marriage lamentation threads, let's be honest with ourselves here. The vast majority of those threads are created by individuals who went into marriage believe they had power to correct red flags to begin with.

Again, every relationship that involves human beings has red flags - there exists no relationship without them. So the question is are we meant to correct those red flags or find a way to negotiate the red flags/issues instead or find other partners whose red flags we can better tolerate.

Another issue I note is how people tend to generalize as far as red flags are concerned. What may be a red flag/issue for one person may not be for another. To the OP, the salty food isn't his issue here. He made it quit clear that his big problem is she does not take correction from him. His expectation is that his partner must llsten and be corrected by him.

Now i see whr the problem is, you probably must have misinterpreted one or two of my words. What i meant by that statement is YES, no one is without flaws, i don't have a problem with hers.
