let's assume you are right, still, that does not mean that his life should be used as the yardstick for rating every other Prophet in the world today.
miracles happen, and I've witnessed them personally and not on a hearsay basis. so the saying that miracles don't happen because the ones you happen to come across were staged is a very generalized point of view.

Suffice it to say that I have never witnessed a miracle, and that many claims of miracles have been debunked. I retain the position that there is a perfectly rational, logical, scientific explanation for all 'miracles'.

He was actually convicted of being a con artist in New York State before founding the Mormon church, so this is not my personal opinion, and it's clear from the history of the Mormon church that it was his own personal vehicle for getting lots of women.

Yes. Do you ever wonder why these miracles are never performed in front of, say, skeptical scientists who would set up a carefully controlled experiment?

1) The person was not lame to begin with. You can easily disguise this. I could fake being lame and then be 'healed'. I would like to see these faith healers regrow an amputated limb. They never do this.
2) when you die your 'soul' ceases to exist. You just become what you were before you were born.

I have no desire to forget logic and reasoning ability, and I doubt that many other atheists would like to do that as well. You really need to try to find another way to persuade us, because this is not going to work.

I went to church for 16 years but I cannot say that I every really believed--once I was old enough I quit going and have not gone back, and I am so glad I had that choice. Am now agnostic atheist and that has not changed in 20 years.

Want to prove that your god is real? Bring a testable hypothesis and we can set up an experiment. Otherwise it is just an empty claim. I would love for some Christian to show me the souls of dead Christians in heaven and the souls of non-Christians in hell. That would be convincing. Same with the Muslims. But they can't even show me any evidence of heaven or hell.....

The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.

Just know that I have been assured by Arab exmuslims that dahaha means flat and spread out and not egg-shaped.

Well if you are willing to accept any explanation for any phenomenon then you are going to have quite a list of possible explanations for everything. Occam's Razor at least permits one to narrow down the possibilities in a way that makes sense, even if it can be wrong from time to time. "We" refers to people who work in the field of research/education.

Is there a better way? Apart from algorithms which may not be feasible...

Allah has just commited a blunder by indirectly saying the earth is flat..

And if the earth did really turn out to be flat then they would be quoting these verses as proof of the Quran's knowledge! Whether the earth is flat or spherical, the Quran is correct!

This would take many generations and hence a lot of time; this is why it has not been done with dogs (yet), but it shows how artificial selection can create new traits. However if you do some research you will find that scientists have created new species from less complex forms of life.

I do not have faith in Occam's Razor, because it can be wrong, as any heuristic can be. However, lacking any other satisfactory explanation, using Occam's razor is the best we can do.

Artificial selection is controlled to favour a predetermined and expected outcome. In natural selection, the first man to evolve would have been gone if you're to follow the evolutionary tree.

Come out clearly, let me understand you:
Are you saying that God exist but the respective religious books are not true? Or that there's no God at all?
If God does exist, which direction would lead us to him since the books are wrong?
If God does not exist, then you don't need to talk about the respective books?

If they have followed scientific principles, then the study should not be done with a particular outcome in mind. Researcher bias is always a possibility however.

I am agnostic with regard to the existence of any god. I lack belief in any god, however.
And religious books were written by men, and I believe there is strong evidence for this.
