Am living in a country that is 90% Muslim and the breweries here would go bankrupt in a month if all the Muslims stopped drinking. Flag, Gazelle, Castel, 33, all brewed locally and have many Muslim employees. |

To be honest if I was an airline steward, there are 3 countries that I would not like to fly in and out of because of the passengers: Nigeria, Israel, and China. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Can We Do Without Religion (christianity, Islam...) ? by onetrack(m): 8:38am On Sep 17, 2017 |
Of course we can live without religion. Most people in northern Europe are doing just that and they seem to be doing ok. We do need a set of philosophical ideals to replace it though. |

I would love to see the US/British/German embassies announce a one-time free work visa for anyone who is willing to swear they are gay or trans. I wonder what Abuja could look like, and how many of the applicants also claimed to be devout Christians or Muslims. |

You have been completely brainwashed, when Jesus comes he will wash your brains and you sef will marvel at your own stupidity, wallahi, no offiencee The world is not ending, even if we as a species disappear from the planet due to our own mismanagement of the earth. Death is final. There is no afterlife, nor is there any Jesus to greet you. |

Yes that's a good psychological analogy. It's how taboos are created. Also another factor in religion is people wanting to understand how things actually work. If they cannot explain something logically (rain, for example), then they will resort to supernatural explanations. |

As an atheist it is meaningless to me but I get tired of seeing this posted here year after year. |

I'll do the same thing you would do if you found out a second before your death that only atheists go to heaven. |

malvisguy212: from Genesis until now, what God has reveal about himself and the truth, are consistant that's why I am a christian. God has reveal Himself to those who want to worship Him in truth. I believe the Bible to be entirely the work of humans, just like the Quran and Gita, and I've seen no evidence to the contrary. In any case belief is entirely a product of the mind and so god or gods are also products of the minds. Whether or not there is a creator I can't say. |

What do you mean by eradication? |

I don't see the problem with trans people anyway. Let them serve their country if they like. |

A more basic problem for me is you referring to the Quran as the word of Allah. To me it's just a book written by people as with every other book. Until this basic problem is resolved, going into the Quran is useless. And the so-called 'miracles' are easily debunked. |
