Please I'm conducting an online auction for Nigeria. I would accept cash from the highest bidder. lol |
alj_harem:You tell me. What did they say, that justifies supposed grown men to start dancing on the graves on children and women? |
Gbawe:You people make me laugh with your hypocrisy. Gbawe, one of the things I hate most about you and other "refined" Yorubas on this forum is that you are ALWAYS missing in action when your rabid brothers Eko-ile, Dayokanu,Bluetooth, Aigbofa and Ekt_bear go to town on innocent Igbo women and children killed in the civil war. You guys just make us laugh with your delusional sanctimony. READ MY LIPS: WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT US. ![]() The day you truly repent and shed excessive wickedness, we shall know, else the LAW OF KARMA says that mass murder is heading west in Nigeria. Repent or face retribution. ![]() |
PointB:My broda I tire o. ![]() |

alj_harem:Envy kwa? ![]() Na wa o. Ona get problem walahi. How can I envy evil and wickedness Chineke ekwela ihe ojoo! ![]() |
em. . oga na We are still waiting for you to bring the proof to the claim you made below: Posted by: nagoma As foolish as these boys who went to the vanguard are , they seem wise enough to avoid saying they want to be southerners. Tarka's experience with the transient romance with Awo will keep them away for ever. In case of going eastwards , I don't even need to tell them. My brothers middlebelters ( former northerners) know that they would better have an alliace with a rattle snake than go with the ibos. Ask the idoma and the tivs!I personally don't care much about any alliances with Middle-belt because I believe that Karma is still working. So please don't make a claim against us unless you have evidence to support your claims. The only rattle snakes I see are people who kill women and children for whatever reason. |
Gbawe:Gbawe The worst crime any neutral party may accuse Igbo of here is that of feeling more capable than everybody (which may not be far from the truth ) ; but the worst crime most neutral rational folks would accuse Yoruba of here is that of being wicked and devilish. Now, take your pick. ![]() |
Posted by: PointB Only ignorant people will claim Nollywood crazy Ghanaians don't know the major tribes in Nigeria. Yes, ignorant or perhaps mischief makers.Thank you bro! |
Posted by: Gbawe My friend, give it a rest. Does your self-delusion know no bound? Have you being to Ghana? I know Ghana as well as any Nigerian can know the Country. If you want to somehow do what is the norm, i.e ignore fact and what obtains in reality, to insinuate the Ghanaians take side, then I can only conclude you are highly ignorant. Let Nairaland bigots carry on their idiocy. Leave Ghanaians out of it. Majority hardly know the ethnic differences of Nigerians aside those who are really close to Nigerians. My friend you are the one being delusional. You think only Nigerians visit this site? LOL. Dey dia I once pretended to be a foreigner and really tried to keep an open mind reading through the exchanges between your Yoruba brothers and other Nigerians, especially Igbos over the civil war issue. Dude you need to see how your brothers were sounding like demonic mass murderers! You guys have hypocrisy issue which you must deal with to be able to see your true image both in the eyes of Nigerians , and those of foreigners. Now, these are not postulations. THEY ARE FACTS. ![]() |
namfav:Ghana must go NEVER happened in the East. It happened in Lagos/West. If we had Biafra, the two countries would have the best of relationship because we share a hard work culture. Whatever bad blood Ghanaians have for us now is because we are Nigerians and Nigerians (Yorubas) deported them in the past. |
JamesDoe:How "holy" of you! I marvel at your sense of righteousness. ![]() You did not see your brothers singing the praises of a mass murdering coward who targeted innocent women and children in the name of bravery. My friend move over! Just keep praying that I win that "Eze" which may gag me more than I may want, else una go hear am from me here! Hypocrites. ![]() |
Negro_Ntns:I actually agree TOTALLY. ![]() |
Why are folks shocked that Ghanaians actually understand Nigerian local politics, and know who is causing problems in Nigeria? They are very smart and hard working people. I remember while growing up in Onitsha how Ghanaians hustled like average Igbo in Onitsha to eke out a living. They were into everything, from skilled labor to music. They are also the most educated English speaking country in the west coast of Africa and so they can analyse things. But above all, they hosted the famous Aburi meeting which was supposed to avert the civil war. I have also said it here on NL that Igbos have more in common (behaviour-wise) with Ghanaians, than with most Nigerian tribes, expect perhaps the Ibibio/Annang. So, they understand us more. I'm happy that our case is gradually finding its feet on the international scene. ![]() |
GenBuhari:Actually I think that Obasanjo belongs in jail. He is the single biggest thief in Nigeria. IBB is reformable. Obasanjo is not. ![]() |
The man is a nutty professor. He is treacherous and cannot command integrity. ![]() |
^^ BTW I ignore some of them here these days, because I think they are really cowards. |
Toaskarity:My brother, one of my friends while at uni was from Ogun state. Some of them have a way of hiding their true feelings inside. Some call it cowardice; some call it treachery. Bottomline is that we Ndigbo need to learn fellow Nigerians. We are too busy pursuing success that we miss sight of these things. That is part of why we lost the war. There was betrayal EVERYWHERE. So watch your back bro. ![]() |
Chyz*:Good, but they should think about HOME more, unless they show me a plan to defend themselves in Jos with ARMS in the future. Mourning without plans is no plans. |
@Aigbofa I'll reply to you ONCE. Dayokanu is now in the same class below my attention here (eko-ile, bluetooth, seanet et al) . ![]() You guys talk as if we care about all these undue lionization of a failed soldier. Adekunle was dealt severe losses by the Biafran POORLY equipped Brigades. He was DEFEATED and was costing Nigeria THOUSANDS of soldiers. He wanted to capture Owerri, but FAILED. He never captured a single core Igbo town. So, he resorted to loud boasts to journalists. He was removed because of those FAILURES, not because of the boasts, or altruistic reasons. If Adekunle was successful with core Igbo areas, he would have been retained afterall he did not kill more innocent Igbos than Murtala Muhammad. So, stop smoking coward cigar. No one was ever afraid of Adekunle in IGBOLAND. ![]() |
History still records that Adekunle was kicked out like a rabid dog by Gowon. The Biafrans could have shut his stoopid Ogbomosho mouth with a nice sniper shut. He was yanked out before he disgraced the Nigerians. |
@ekt_bear For someone who claim to have a some empirical background, your thinking here is shockingly daft and deranged. How dare you compare a PRESIDENT like Abraham Lincoln to a poor weak soldier like Adekunle. ![]() Anyone with any brains at all would only compare GOWON (not Adekunle who was filling a Nigerian tribal quota position to make the war seem like everyone was against Igbo) with other PRESIDENTS, NOT a soldier who TEMPORARILY commanded just ONE front in a THREE front war. What school did you attend again? Your intelligence is less than that of a grade 2 kid. No one cares whether you have morals or not, after all the genocide can come to you next time in Nigeria; just stop comparing great men with weaklings. BTW I still believe that if Tim Onwuatuegwu knew how loud Adekunle was, he could have assigned the S Brigade the special duty of shutting Adenkule's mouth before Gowon kicked Adekunle out of the 3MCO. |
Adekunle after the war
|
lol
|
ak47mann:That is what the Beroms in Jos and Benue people thought a few years back. I doubt they still say that now. What is this governor smoking anyway? ![]() Is he smoking PDP? ![]() |
asorocker:I really believe that was what the Biafran expeditionary force was aiming to achieve when they marched towards Lagos and got as far as Ore before Banjo sold out/developed a cold feet. That expedition was the last attempt to prevent an all out war, unfortunately it failed. |
ekt_bear:There you go again spoiling an otherwise sound reasoning. Please don't pull down the image of a great and decent man like Lincoln by equating him with a crude raving lunatic racist like Adekunle. Adenkule was not fighting against Eastern Nigeria as he should; he was fighting against Igbos and minorities who supported them. He felt that the minorities were daft not to be able to see a reason to join Igbos in fighting for emancipation of Eastern Nigeria. He however felt that without the Igbos, the minorities would not fight. That was his height of condescension on the minorities. Abraham Lincoln never singled out the French or German or Italian Americans to wipe them out like Adekunle was trying to wipe Igbos out. I understand that conscience is not a standard attribute of every human being, as I've learned here in NL, but don't try to make it look as if Adekunle was justified to wage a racist war against Igbos, instead of fighting a war of unification as a Nigerian army officer. His lack of conscience and rabid racism actually made him look weak and loud. If I were a Biafran battalion commander during the war, I would have assigned a special sniper squad to make sure he never lived long enough to be relieved of his weak/poor command. ![]() The Nigerians did the job before the Biafrans could have got to him though. |
ekt_bear:Ok, fair enough, but let's play a little game called "Reverse-role". Here is the situation reversed: STERN: What will your troops do when you get to the Yoruba heartland, that is, to the place populated by Yorubas only? ADEKUNLE: There we will aim at everything even if it is not moving. STERN: But you said yourself that most of the refugees in the part you captured are not Yorubas. ADEKUNLE: But there could be Yorubas among them. I want to avoid feeding a single Yoruba as long as this whole people have not given up yet. STERN: Do you sometimes feel sympathy for the Yoruba? ADEKUNLE: I have learned a word from the British, which is “sorry”! That’s how I want to respond to your question. I did not want this war but I want to win this war. Therefore I have to kill the Yorubas. Sorry! Now, assume that Adekunle were a Biafra commander in the war; do you think there would EVER be peace between Igbo and Yoruba until Igbo distances from this man and even apologize to the Yoruba about his actions? You see why we laugh at you guys when you talk as if you seriously want to stop Hausa/Fulani in Nigeria. |
ak47mann:My brother, the evolving situation never made room for such delays. You would not understand why Ojukwu declared Biafra until you understand the events of the July 1966 counter coup. To some extent, the civil war was just a continuation of that counter coup. That Gowon did not march on Enugu sooner is part of why I have a lot of respect for Ojukwu despite his flaws. With good hindsight, nothing really stopped Gowon from marching on Enugu, if there was no strong Eastern governor in the person of Ojukwu. Now, if you say that Ojukwu should have sought and obtained the military alliance or support of a world power before accepting the Eastern agitation for secession, you may have a point, but always remember that Gowon did not march on Enugu because there was Ojukwu who skillfully navigated a period of a peace process -constitutional conference (late 1966) and Aburi (Early 1967). When you factor in British role, Europe became a no-go area for Biafra, though the French managed to eke out LITTLE support to Biafra in the late stages of the crisis. I would speculate that Ojukwu did not expect the British to support Nigeria against Biafra. Hindsight is always 20/20. |
Chyz*:I noticed the same thing too. But I think it is not really fear. I think it is REMORSE. It is not overt, but very much there. Truth is a very powerful thing. Igbo say that truth is indomitable. If you cover it up in a container, it will escape like smoke. If you bury it under the ground, it will germinate like a plant. ![]() It is all good though. |
