Nairaland is like Calculus. Without calculus, how can anyone be an engineer?
That is how Zik, with of all his education and exposure, slept while western Cameroons seceded to Cameroon from Eastern Nigeria. All these while Awolowo was busy scheming to gain the upper hand for his people in Nigeria. Any Igbo who fails to follow the rhythm of Nigerian politics, but instead keep listening to the Katsumotos, is repeating the same mistakes of Zik.
Keep your eyes on the ball. That is what politics is all about. |

Nairaland political section is what I can authoritatively qualify as Nigerian Politics 101. All these other forums are fake, because no one ever says their real minds there. They pretend and recycle old fake lines. Take it from me, Nairaland is the most authentic Nigerian community website. If you really want to know Nigeria, then visit here. If you want to do window dressing, go elsewhere. I would keep referring more of my folks to join this forum. It has opened my eyes beyond all other formal education available anywhere. |

onye_ngbu: You might not be lying but do you blame anybody for being bitter? Is it wrong to be bitter when the person who hurt you feels that he has no reason to apologize or address the issue in anyway. Rather the same person goes on to blame you for being bitter.
Its like beating a child and stopping him/her from crying. My brother, Katsumoto represent the typical smooth talking Yoruba elite. Notice that he would never call his marauding Yoruba brothers to order, until an Igbo responds to them forcefully. I dare him to stop them. The guy doesn't even accept the betraying role his people play(ed) in Nigerian politics, especially against the East (and I mean against every interest east of the Niger). It is time we see through these types of folks and take a cue, else we won't live to tell the story. Nigeria has a rhythm, and it has nothing to do with fairness, especially as far as the Yoruba is concerned. You miss that rhythm, you pay dearly for it. Simple. |

Mekusxyz: Biafra is dead, welcome to one Nigeria. There is not going to be any Oduduwa country-over a lot of dead bodies. Yoruba stupidly lost the opportunity and it comes only once. Yoruba are stuck with Igbo and Igbo will continue to make hay in Lagos, our backyard. And that, my friend, is the bottomline. lmfao! |

akigbemaru: Lol, if Oduduwa fails 10X, you and I know the Biafran will fail 10,000X because more than half of you depend on Oduduwa land for your survival. It's like your are even putting curses on your people in our land. You know that these people won the future and prosperity of Biafran land.
Onlytraiter, If you actions do not speak louder than your voice and you belive in one Nigeria for real for real? Don't you ever come on Nairaland to rant again. That's if you believe in One Nigeria, you might as well burn the Biafailed flag and currency in your pocket. So that we believe that your words do not belie your actions. Thank you Thank you!!!!!!! You don't have to believe my words. They are irrelevant to you. I speak to my people who don't understand the dynamics of the Nigeria "politico-ethnic" sphere. The advantage I have is that I can advocate my separate country yesterday because I know I could thrive in it, or advocate a united Nigeria today for the very same reasons. Isn't it marvelous being an Igboman?! Chei jealousy go kill people. Let me tell you plainly, if I will gain $100 for staying in Nigeria, and gain $1 million for having Biafra, based on what I know now about the Yoruba, I will opt for Nigeria. You know why? Because in Nigeria, I have a real chance to avenge well well on the Yoruba. That vengeance is priceless. |
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe - What Nigeria Means To Me by Onlytruth(m): 7:16pm On Jan 26, 2010 |
I think Igbos should accept one Nigeria and use it well well. I prophesied that the same people who betrayed us in Biafra will put in more effort to disintegrate Nigeria in the future and it will be us Igbos who will stop them then. That future really thrills me. |
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe - What Nigeria Means To Me by Onlytruth(m): 7:07pm On Jan 26, 2010 |
Mekusxyz: Lagos is our backyard; so there is no going anywhere from your own backyard. We are married together by Awo's infamy, and if anyone will leave, it is the Yoruba with their killings, ritualism, alayes and almajiris. They will all be shoved back to Benin and Togo where they originally belonged. Where Biafra failed, Oduduwa will fail 10x And I can't wait for that almighty event! |
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe - What Nigeria Means To Me by Onlytruth(m): 7:06pm On Jan 26, 2010 |
LAFOCUZY: I appreciate the comments of Katsumoto; its fair; I have read a couple of them and felt its quite objective. He constrains himself and targets the issue. H e has not exonerated the Yoruba's that betrayed the igbo at the time, at the same time he has also pointed out the igbo men that acted inappropriately.
But I sense some kind of hatred or perhaps reservation against the Ibo. I feel the rest of the country don't trust them. Either its because of their resilience, Independence or what, I can't seem to place it or maybe its an impression they have succeeded in creating in everyone else.
Maybe We should let them go, I really think there is no way they can be meaningfully integrated into that country called Nigeria after such brutal war and betrayal. I think they will be more progressive in a biafran nation. And lose my pound of flesh? You gotta be kidding me! Na naija we dey put! |

Mekusxyz: Oil and Gas in: Abia (not fully tapped) Imo (not fully tapped) Enugu (untapped) Anambra (about to be tapped) Igbo parts of Delta and Rivers is enough for an Igbo country But oil is a non-renewable resource and is, thus, nothing to be proud of in the long run. The guy can't think past oil. |

I don't know what you people still waiting for, please pack your load and go back to your useless Biafailed land. You have gotten, your anthem, flag, currency and officials, but just because you still milking Oil money, you don't want to go. Oil will finish one day, it will be too late to leave and continue playing your glorified house boy for naija. Tell your lies to whoever cares to listen in your part of Nigeria. If you really pause to think (oh sorry I forget you have no brain, oops!), you will see that I own the future of your land. Your game is up. Oil will soon finish. Then, let me see what other lies you tell. I can't wait for the oil to finish, because then the real games begin. Like I said before, you will hear nwii when you try to secede. akigbemaru: Onlytraitor,
Son, who do you think own Western Region? Who has more than 75 percent of land on Western Region? After moribund Oil Oyel, what did your little part of Eastern region contribute to naija? When you even say Eastern Region and specifically refer it to Iboland it seems misnomer to me. Because, you only own 1/9 of land in the whole Eastern Region.
Now, you want to continue with one naija again? I guess you are deranged you just swift back forth like cow big scrotums. Ibo people unite naija together, ain’t that understatement, when you and your people rain curse on naija everyday. You so silly.d son, if I find the right euphemism for you. akamubrain, Tell your lies to whoever cares to listen in your part of Nigeria. When the oil finishes, they will call for secession of Yorubaland
Then, it will be their time to pay for all their crimes against the East

EzeUche: That is, because they are proud of their identity. It is very disrespectful to call a people the name of another people. It is like calling a Kanuri person a Hausa. They are two separate people, but they are still united.
The Efik, Igbo and Ibibio are united. We are all cousins. There is nothing that can divide us and these people fought long and hard for Biafra. You do remember that it was not an Igbo man who surrendered, it was an Ibibio man. (Philip Effiong) @EzeUche Stop wasting your time with that id'i'ot. You think he doesn't know? Don't indulge him. |

You people can hate on Yoruba from today till tomorrow, you can't do sh.it. Because one who can't conquer somebody would not dare lay an ambush, unless he wants twice beaten. We are already doing something. Why not go jump into the Atlantic! As for the conquer part, history is still in the making and thanks to idio'ts like you, your people go hear nwii for naija. Please, beg gods of Biafra to help you people go back to your little portion of land in Eastern Jungle. We still have one Nigeria, there is over-crowding already in the Biafran land, if you guys secede your situation would be so pathetic!!! I guess your moochers still waiting on because you are milking oil money. Thanks God, that the largess of Awolowo never let Western Region secede at that time, your oil I mean Oyel like Ibo people called it had gone finishing since 1800s, what would you people would have been eating? You have already started to sh'it your pants, pathetic coward. Why are you afraid of Igbos living in your part of Nigeria. We are dug in and will continue digging in until we buy up all your land. We are only warming up! When we are done, the west will be the new Niger delta. Try to secede then, we will show you pepper. Try harder, we will wipe you off then. Let me set the record straight now! I think after my calculaton below, which is nothing but the truth (you will not be proud of Calabar and Rivers. To the Ijaws and we Yoruba westerners, Isacc Adaka Boro was an hero and a legend; but to all Bia-failed people or ill-jerk monkey (he was a criminal) just because he got back Port Harcourt and River state from the greedy Igbo people (just like how OJUKWU is a criminal to Ijaw people). Your brother Adekunle killed him for his heroism and your brother Obasanjo nearly wiped out Odi for oil to flow. Your people continue to steal the very same thing adaka boro thought he was fighting to protect from "igbo domination". I pity anyone from any part of south south who listen to your i'd'io'tic lies. Let me do the math for you fool! Check from this Bia-failed link below to calculate your remaining landmass. My land mass is the entire territory of the federal republic of Nigeria. You will get this lesson the day you try to secede with my land in Lagos. That day you go smell your nyash! ewu! |

I am an Aro man, with Efik and Ibibio blood running through my veins. Just when you thought you have seen the worst of that guy's idiocy, he proves you wrong again. I never knew that idiocy could be limitless. He is making a miserable efforts at divide and rule, but he forgets that his land contributes nearly zero to the national coffers. What is the total dollar contribution of Yorubaland to Nigeria's coffers? And don't tell me about Lagos, because Igbos own about half of Lagos properties. |
