As an employer of Labour myself with an office in Surulere, once i saw your CV stating locations in Ipaja, Ikorodu, Abule Egba, Iyana Ipaja, Alagbado, Ajah, Akowonjo, Ojo, Ikotun, Mile 12, Ojodu Berger/Alagbole and other distant locations, you will never be called for interview because once you get started with work after the initial gragra and desperation to work, natural occurrence associated with coming and going from long distance will surely occur as we are human excpet you state that you have place(s)you can relocate or stay that would be close r to the office inside your CV or body of applications.

Most Nigerian youths dont think proactively in that line and see critical reasons why they are not getting enough or quality interview oppurtunities

What we experience as applicants/ organisational staff in this Lagos especially is Absolutely NOT ideal or normal. How can you be staying in Ipaja/Ayobo and go work everyday in Ajah? by time you do such for 6 months, 1 year or 3 years, how you expect to remain the same and not grow old prematurely? Thats absolutely insane! But some see it as normal. Some employers dont care wherever you will be coming from. Just ensure you get to work at assigned time

With me, good staff benefits, welfare and vibrancy matter in order for you to be productive

But to make, man/woman must survive!

I suggest you reach out to him privately for his opinion of a good brand. You see, I spent time just thinking of a loaf (made in Ibadan) that gets to my side of Port Harcourt. I couldn't think of any.

Look out for Yale bread. Made in Ibadan but sold all over Nigeria and beyond. It's a truly remarkable fast moving product.

Those prices are very high. Most people on this thread are deal hunters.....and understandably so. Perhaps you should have considered creating a separate thread for these items. But the word clearance here means you must be willing to seel your items at flea market prices. That's how it is.

You could also start by creating some negative publicity for them.

1. Send them a formal request for a refund stating the facts of the matter. This should be on a header paper. Let them know that you will give that letter as much publicity as you can if within 48 hours they don't refund the entire amount inclusive of the delivery charges.

2. Then keep this page afresh revealing their name and their phone numbers. It will even be better if you can also put up the pictures of the company, and perhaps the Facebook/other social media handles of the company and its operatives.

3. Put up their phone numbers here, official and personal and encourage all Nairalanders to call them. I assure you that this will go a long way.

I want to ask a question and I need a genuine response from you, if you have a younger brother signed to a record label and faced all the trauma Mohbad faced aside the death part, what would you have done as a senior brother?

If my brother enters a contract without me in the picture at the very beginning and then issues arise we can only salvage the situation to the best of our ability.

Note that the spirit of the agreement lies in the enabling clauses. At this level a lawyer should have been involved. But if the milk is spilt already then we have to look for ways of amicably settling the matter.

Now, were there threats from the label owner? If yes, did they report to the police? Did they raise an alarm formally? Was there a press conference? What about an media briefing or TV interview?

Many options exist for resolving this matter without further animosity.

Finally, when entering into an agreement think it through, get inputs from more knowledgeable people before putting pen to paper.
