Julius berger is gradually quitting from nigeria. Crcc and ccecc (chinese construction companies) has forced berger to a stand-still in nigeria. Last month alone berger laid off more than 500 of its workers. Chinese construction companies has finally taken over construction works in nigeria. Presently julius berger are not employing. CCECC is at it again. Who do we run to? Ccecc is at it again. This is the greatest crime to humanity. Hmmmm! Why, why, why? Why is the nigerian govt foldong their arms watching this people maltreating nigerians? Three years ago pecisely, ccecc workers held a peaceful protest and demostrations appealling for a better salary and welfare packages. The demostration went on for about three days and at the end of the third day, the management came out to plead and appeal to all workers that soon there will be great changes.they promised a quarterly increment and other welfare packages like medical and other utilities. Since 2014 there has been tremedous improvements in their salary scale, workers has been baffled with these changes. Those earning about 30k will shot up to about 45k within a period of one year. Thouse earning 50k were shot up to about 70k. What is recently going on now is total decrement of all salaries. If you were receiving 45k before, your salary will be reduced to 30k and if you were receiving 70k before, your salary will now be 40k. My questions are numerous. Are these people not bijnd by the nigerian payee's scheme? Are there no bodies looking into the affairs and activities of these people? Why are they treating nigerians this way? Julius berger plc, trevi construction company and others don't treat their workers this way. I heard indians and lebanese companies does the same attitude to their workers. Hmmmm I am tired. Samsung should work on their charging system.
