Onye oma: When you say photocopy,do you mean student's copy or pure photocopyhuh I believe they accept student's copy of ur transcript.

Concerning the police report, I don't think there is a preference as to where one can get his/ hers from. If you get mind, you can even travel to Bornu State to get it cos na that one go get the heaviest weight say you no be BOKO HARAM...

My own opinion though...
Onye oma, I've never heard of students copy. All I know is that transcripts are sent on seal and the owner is not even suppose to see it. Cos on it is written that the student is not allowed to view it on no account. So why will they embassy ask for originals. For me they are asking us to break our laws here and keep theirs

Etinosajay: I thought it was concordia college...concordia university? I have to update myself
There is concordia University college in Alberta and Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. I think the college is an extension of the University offering specialised certificate and independent degree programs. You can visit 4icu for universities ranking in Canada.

Mhen!this forum is on point. Could you believe I ask my questions per confusion as I'm filling my form and get responses sharply? An agent told me she'll collect 50k to do the application for me. From the things I've gathered here so far, the agents couldn't have given my application the taste and beauty I'm giving it with the help of the wonderful people here. I just want to show my gratitude. You guys are off the hook. Thanks peeps.

The is no tuition details on my offer letter. But from the calculator on the University website, the cost of my program is about $16300 per annum and quebec living expense is at about $ 12020 per annum. On the field for cost of study, I filled in $ 16300, $ 12020 and $ 5000 respectively for tuition, room n board and other. I hope its okay

I have been refused a UK visa before. And now the Canadian visa form is asking if I've been refused a visa before. If I answer yes. Will it be a problem for my visa chance ?

Is it not proper I get my police report from the state I reside, rather than coming to the CID office in Lagos for that. Please advice me.

teexzle: Hey wich school gav u conditional
Admision and hw did u send ur transcript b4
It's Concordia. I applied with a copy of my transcript. Now they need the official (Sealed) one to make my offer unconditional.

dommakavelli: Who won give u VISA..CDHC of course.
@ all, my transcript came in a sealed envelope. Should I open it n attach to other docx. Or i shuld leave it in d envelope
No. The seal means it is suppose to be hidden from you. Opening it makes it unofficial.

The transcript I'm sending to the embassy, who will address it to. The canadian school I was admitted into or the CHC?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 4 by onuawuchi: 4:13pm On Mar 20, 2013
I'll like to know if I can apply for a study permit with a conditional offer letter. The graduate school in canada I gained admission into needs the sealed copy of my transcript sent from my school to make my offer unconditional. I have already made the arrangement for the transcript , but I'm afraid I may not get an unconditional copy of the offer letter, before the 3 months window for visa application
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by onuawuchi: 3:08pm On Mar 15, 2013
I have just been admitted into a graduate program at Concordia. I will be paying for my confirmation fee and applying for CAQ , cos the school is in Quebec. The challenges I may be having with my visa application is the close to two years gap I've had without a job, having been relived of the previous one for reasons of negligence, absolutely not my fault (long story) . The only document I'm planning to attach to my visa application in respect of work experience is only my appointment letter. I want to know if this and the two years gap I've had will be a problem for me with visa application.

olas2u: Stop spitting rubbish,There are rules and you follow the rules of the institution and go back to your house after 1 year.
If I'm the one spitting rubbish, I think you should be knowledgeable enough to know that rules are not created in vacuums. Rules are made for humans and as such MUST consider the principles of those it governs. If we are free with some people wearing hidjab, I don't know why others can't be allowed to wear flowing gowns, if that's what they want. It won't stop them from taking part in what every other person is doing. And for the record, your language is uncalled for. Its only a forum and not a national assembly session.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by onuawuchi: 1:51am On Mar 13, 2013
Are we sure this mass test invitation is not a ploy to take the records of a considerable amount of the Nigerian population (especially the unemployed) for identity issuance. I've been suspecting this right from the time of filling the application. The time given to fill out the application was enough for the entire country to get a chance to do the test. If this is the case, it will be most unfortunate, cos they would have succeeded in moving cash from those in dire need of it to those who are already earning it.
NYSCRe: Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by onuawuchi: 1:27am On Mar 13, 2013
Honestly, I'm really impressed by this girls action. I never knew there is still such a resolute faith in Nigeria. Some of you may argue here about the biblical relevance of wearing or not wearing trousers. But this girls actions goes beyond that. At least, despite how ignorant you may term her, she has shown how ready she is to sacrifice for her faith. Unlike some of you here, who don't have any thing they even believe in. That is why the muslims consider us christians unserious. In UK some kids were sent home for refusing not to go without their hidjah, and muslims world over raised alarm over about that. Its unfortunate that we christians aside shying away from the challenges of the things we believe in , blab about those who choose to do so.
TravelHelp! Got Admitted Into A PG School In Canada by onuawuchi(op): 12:36pm On Mar 04, 2013
After an array of applications since the beginning of 2012, I've just been admitted into the University of Concordia for a graduate diploma program in economics. From similar threads I've read here, it appears that getting a canadian visa does not come ease, particularly the part of having to prove that you'll return after the completion of your program. I'd like to get a complete detail of how to commence my visa application and the possible options I can table to prove to them I still have ties with my country.
