humanshado: Good News!Congratulations ! Getting a med notice in 17 days. While some of us have spent 19 weeks waiting for the same medical. I thank God on your behalf. I pray the same God remember those of whose wait is quickly turning into eternity. |
The reason is simple. It makes you gay. For me its acceptable to be lesbian, but being a homosexual is completely out of the equation. |
femianiyi: All will be well bro, delay is surely not denial. Sent you a mail but u didn't reply, still hoping to hear from you. Just want us to share experience together.I'm sorry my brother. I felt I should put the reply on hold since we are expecting something from CDHC. However, Its obvious now they aren't prepared to answers us. Perhaps they want to frustrate us into withdrawing our application. |
19 weeks and CDHC is still with my Originals. No medical, no replies to email. Though darkness may tarry a while longer, but joy will ALWAYS come in the morning. I think they have preference for those going into the sciences than those of us in arts. They can muscle up as they like, all I know is that God is stronger than they are. |
What's the age limit for the superintendent Cadre, is it 30 or 35? |
@Richiepauls, I just confirmed the recruitment and the portal. I'm sorry if my earlier post wasn't lightly taken. I commend you for the selflessness. May God grant your desires in accordance to His will. |
People, let's be sure of the website before filling. Just saying |
britiko: Cdhc update! If they are working on 23rd applications, what's the fate of those of us whose apps read 7th and we still get the same auto reply of 'being processed'? God is able.... |
logo.za:Love those words...Congrats! |
teexzle: Congrats bro..bt which uni is canada's green uniUNBC: University of Northern British Columbia. |
Hi everyone, I don't mean to take you guys back. I'll like to know if NIMC is through with calling for interviews? My profile on their portal has been reading exam stage since after the test. I'm from Imo state and I wrote the test in Unilorin. I've tried reaching the people I came to the test with from Owerri, and non got a message for a follow up interview stage. I can't pick for sure the role I applied for, but I think it sounds like local government enrollment officer. Your response will be appreciated. |
freshdude: Me self 20th of sept is my last day of grace. I stay in ph, if not I would have been at their office long ago. The worst part is ma school told me I can't deffer, rather I will have to reapply for me to be considered for admission and funding again. God dey.Lakehead? |
Sixteen weeks and not a word. My solace is in this:'He'll make a way where there seems to be no way. He hasn't ceased in working in ways we cannot see'.Onye ji ihe nwata welie aka ya elu, mgbe aka jiri ya...oga wedeta ya, nwata werre kwa ihe ya |
bumfem: To all my seniors and big ogas in the house...will it be out of order if I put a call across to CDHC asking them the status of my application. My emails were not replied. My has advised I pay tuition b4 sept4. How do I handle this without assurance of medicals from CDHC. your sincere advice plssssss!!I suspected earlier, after going through the profiles of people who were called for medics and those who have not gotten theirs; they were separated by tuition payment. I'm still pondering over the same question: if we pay now will it change the course of our application? |
Onye ji ihe nwata welie aka ya elu ...mgbe aka jiri ya, oga wedeta aka ya ahu na ala. Ka Chineke mezie okwu |
Da-range,Lucky don,Bumdish,Galala,Librasat and Azweel, what do you guys suggest we do ...make we change church? Or make we still hang on and keep faith alive? |

smile13: To the glory of Almighty God, I got my TRV today. I appreciate everyone for their support all the way. I pray for speedy medical call-ups and TRVs for my brothers and sisters in the house. God bless.CONGRATS! |
galala123: I have been wondering how PAFSO strike is related to delay on airport pick ups?The school have a pick up form they require their international students to fill as regards their expected arrival dates. Perhaps, some people filled and submitted theirs with high optimism of visa approval. I think they are apologizing on the embassies behalf. I hope I didn't mix things up this time?.... ![]() |
nicemax: The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) are on strike further slowing visa processing times. The Citizenship and Immigration Canada website states, The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas without warning or advance notice. Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages. Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.Oh... I thought so...iz like we posted simultaneously. Thanks for the info. Oga, we've not been in touch for a while now, my bb just went blank like three days ago.I'm sorry i can't communicate now on bbm. |
Please, does any body know if the Canadian embassies are striking? I received an email from my school apologizing to international students for delays on airport pick ups caused by the strike action. |
kofsy: No you were not tricked. There's usually an experimental section; which could either be verbal or quantitative. I guess yours was quantitative.Seriously, they really dealt with me with that one ooo. Cos i noticed that after the first section of my quantitative it graduated to a more difficult section and was happy with the thought i did good in the first section. Never knew they'll touch my medulla with that brain crashing experimental stuff. Guess i didn't see it coming |
babsharon: You have α good profile, google search for schools and mail them with your GRE score if they will accept it.Thanks brou... I hope it will be fine too for the VO's, cos admission is one thing while visa nah plenty things |
I'm posting on this thread for the first time. I'd like to know my chance of getting into a graduate school in the states for a Masters degree in economics with this profile: Bsc Economics 3.98/5.0 (2005) GRE: V 145: Q 151 ( I know its a low one. I think I was tricked on my gre. Wrote three sections for Quantitative, instead of two: Computer error I suppose) Work Experience: 2008-date Thanks in anticipation of your response. |
Huzzie: @Medical hopefuls...Lucky don,galala123,Bunfem,onuawuchi et al,God's willing you would get your medical call today.AMEN....They are really showing us who's boss. But God is stronger than they are and that is my confidence. |
I notice that most people called in this second round all made tuition payments. Lord help those of us who didn't make any payment and bless all of us with our TRV. |
rexxy09: SOMEBODY SHOUT HALLELUYAAAAAAAAAAA. I JUST RECEIVED MY MEDICAL CALL UP NOW VIA EMAIL. I CAN SEE MORE MEDICAL CALL UPS LOADING. TAP IN TO THIS BY FAITH AND LETS KEEP THE GOOD NEWS COMING.PRAI...PRAI....PRAI....PRAISE!!! THA LORD.... |
Did they really skip us or have they treated our applications, and kept them for final decision. I mean the late april and early may applicants? I have taking time to read through the previous parts of this thread, and it seems obvious that ones your application time is jumped over and probably lingers, the decision will only take the chance of a hairs breath not to be a denial. My question is, why would they take so long a time to deny an application. Bearing in mind that the time wasted is not just the time they put your documents on hold. I'm sure the number of applicants in Nigeria is in no way near the number they deal with in countries like India. Dear Lord! Help us |
bumdish: For sureCan It also be used as proof of fund. Cos most of my sponsors funds are denominated in stocks, which I showed as her cscs statement when applying for my visa. Not gotten any replies from CHC yet |
onuawuchi: I submitted my file on the 7th of May, and my sponsorship profile looks like this: |
I submitted my file on the 7th of May, and my sponsorship profile looks like this: My sponsor is my elder sister I showed her salary account balance of 3.7m Her Cscs statement of about 3.5 A letter from her employer quoting her per annum of about 10m Wrote me an affidavit and letter of sponsorship...stated her 4 kids as dependents ...... I'm going for a PG at Lakehead. My tuition is $13K. I've not heard any thing from CHC up till now. I want to know what I've done wrong |
