Because they want a Yoruba to succeed PMB.

The most sophisticated race that understands politics more than the Romans.
Nigeria’s politics centered on who shall preside over royalties from crude oil in the Niger Delta.

In Imo state, the state government is bent on recovering lands and properties that were illegally acquired by the former governor Rochas Okorocha - nothing more.

Reconcile Okorocha with Uzodinma; but don’t interfere with IMSG recovery efforts, unless you want to prove that APC is now a vessel for enhancement of official corruption.

Mr man stop this your complain please, am from Ngor-Okpala, and we also have one or two things to complain about, but you guys from Orlu Zone don't have shame at all, from Udenwa to Rochas now Hope you guys are till complaining, did Owerri people put gun on their hand when they where in office? And for your information most development you see in Owerri are private not government, the new Refinery and the ASA gas project are majorly private, so you people should hold you leaders responsible not Owerri people.
OWERRI LANDS BOUGHT FOR A NAIRA, APPRECIATE LATTER.
Those people in Imo government up to 2011 before Okorocha government, are aplenty in today’s Imo government. They are now bent on extending township roads from Owerri center to the ends of Owerri, including your Ngor Okpala. Objective? To increase the value of the properties they acquired in Owerri and acquire more, as they don’t look back in extending roads even to your Ngor Okpala end, but no good roads in other parts of the state.
Land acquisition by government instruments which Okorocha is being accused of is going on today in another manner by government officials for landed properties they and friends acquired earlier, and more to acquire now.

The Imo politicians who are after their personal wealth are the shameless, not people from any particular area of Imo state.

You have a state with only one city - Owerri - worthy of modern living - that’s the meaning of one town state.

Imolite are light years ahead of you and your parochial mindset. Orlu worth is more than those places you mentioned, we have a nearly billion dollar investment and a thriving refinery. There is no senatorial zone that has attracted more than that in recent times. I ask again why are u crying more than the bereaved?
The economic benefits of the refinery you mention goes to nearby Owerri, has no business with Orlu which is far from the refinery.
Ignorance is a disease that keeps most of you down in that state.

The fact is that the refinery and gas plant is in Orlu zone, there are no ifs and buts, fact is fact. Every imolite has a stake in Owerri, we in imo state are not parochial, I have never seen anybody from Orlu complain about Owerri, it is always from someone who doesn’t have a stake in imo state. Now they are spreading misinformation that it is only one town that is developed in imo state, when development has cut across multiple LGA.

How can u be more afflicted than the affected. We see Owerri as our home as well and Orlu have ruled the state for the longest. Please let’s continue discussion about IMO state without this constant interjection.
You or all Imo people see Owerri as home?
Can you ever get Nsukka man say he sees Enugu as home while Nsukka was abandoned by government?
Can you see Ngwa man say he sees Umuahia as home while Aba is abandoned by government?

Fake propaganda online by poorly educated people like you helps the smart ones fleece your state and leave you a one town state.

Or any Ngwa man who shall say he is content with having Umuahia as his home while Aba is abandoned by government?

Abagworo:
In essence Owerri should have remained constrained to Douglas and Ikenegbu without expansion. Okorocha creating alternative routes and reclaiming eroded lands for roads and estates is a positive development and masterplan is subject to adjustment by a Governor based on peculiarity of his time. Both Udenwa and Ohakim also modified masterplan but this whitepaper said their own followed due process whereas that of Okorocha didn't. One cannot say that removal of mechanics from Orji and Naze moving them to a more organized place at Avu caused increased flooding. In all my view remains that Imo will be better if Uzodinma continues with Okorocha's already manifesting plans while adding his own modifications than working hard to kill them and start afresh
But these Imo people who discuss Owerri only in their threads, are they cursed, dwarfed in brain stems or bribed by their most corrupt political leaders to see only Owerri as their state?
Each time one visits the thread here, it’s the same story. Leadership is not the main reason for the ever sick Imo state; followership is the major problem.

Lol. Typical. You Igbos are always too immature and emotional to ever do reality. You're throwing your toys out of the pram because I told you the reality which is that the North is obligated to hand over the APC ticket to the SW in the spirit of "one good turn deserves another".

Go ahead and kid yourself. Writhe around on the floor while at it. When push comes to shove the North Will have no choice but to concede APC ticket to the SW. That is the reality emotional upstarts like you can't handle.
Another cat whinnying at a junction after forgetting the route it took from home.

Because more Yoruba voted APC than the Igbo in presidential elections is reason for your allotment of extra rights to Yoruba to preside over Nigeria twice since 1999, before the Igbo. You no well.

If Yoruba says no rotation for presidency in the south, how do you expect the north to talk about making south present a successor to PMB through rotation?

Don't kid yourself. No Igbo can ever get the APC ticket. APC ticket is for Yoruba candidate. Igbos should petition for PDP ticket and face APC Yoruba candidate.

In fact Ndume gave a clue as per how unfancied Igbos are when he chided them for wanting to rule a nation they are always seeking to break up.

Please bet 2 million with me right now and let us pray God keeps us alive till APC Primaries next year so I cash out cool
What’s this one saying? Feeding yourself with farts.
If no Igbo can get APC ticket, we must ensure that a northerner, most probably, a Fulani, wins the presidential election. Easy.

Yoruba can’t clamour for rotation of presidency in order for south to succeed PMB, but in the south, Yoruba refuses rotation.

Another monkey noise to attract Fulani sympathy for Yoruba.
Reality is that Yoruba rejected PDP in 1999, hurled insults against PDP then as most Yoruba belonged to AD.

Yet Nigeria’s kingmakers considered OBJ fresh from prison and made him PDP presidential candidate and made Falae the presidential candidate of the second largest political party -all these to ensure that a Yoruba became president then.

What exactly did Igbos contribute, other than insult and malevolence, to the attainment of the Presidency the APC is enjoying today?

You Igbos love fooling yourselves sha. You play politics of enmity and acrimony all the time yet you expect to be rewarded where you deliberately made yourselves of little value with your hateful and toxic ways. Lol.
I got you at the jugular.

Only a tiny percentage of Yoruba belonged to the PDP formed by Alex Ekwueme, when we handed over the PDP presidential ticket in 1999 to Yoruba, because of consideration for zoning and rotation of the presidency to the southwest.

Yoruba did not even vote OBJ to become president.
Yorubas were majority in AD - a Yoruba political party then.

You seem to believe that insulting Igbo, insulting the intelligence of people, is the way to get presidential tickets in 2023.

You guys notice how Ndume stylishly wrote off Igbos for APC presidential ticket in 2023? It is easier for a camel to pass through the needle eye than for Northerners to hand over power to SE.

From the way it's going, APC will field SW with support of prominent Northerners and of course political machinations. PDP out of jealousy will have no option than to field another credible Yoruba person to try their luck.

South East can't say they want to be the head of a house they want divided. It defies common sense
In bold: silly blackmail against the Igbo who are not IPOB.

By the way, if you are Abokii, Arewa adopting Islamic Sharia criminal laws was like Arewa dividing Nigeria. Boko Haram fighting for a country that uses Islamic Sharia criminal laws made GEJ government useless for Buhari to win.

If you are a Yoruba, you know that Yoruba was about to declare Oduduwa Republic after MKO debacle until we made two Yorubas to fly the presidential flags of the two largest political parties.

Equity must prevail in Nigeria through having two Igbo presidential candidates on the tickets of APC and PDP, if not, Nigeria deteriorates.

APC is micro zoning its presidential ticket to the South West and that is what matters.
