Or u are happy that they should not make an head way in chosen what they like the way u have chosen what u like and hoping to make a better life out of it.

It is not only universities that issues certificates Tailors also issue certificates so u can try and focus on them too not only universities. In fact no sure way in Nigeria anymore whether certificate ooo! or skills ooo! or business oo ! nothing is guaranteed anymore in this country so face anyone you are in and ask God for divine favour. Businesses are folding up, people are losing jobs that will in turn affect the skill person to get a job to do. So everyone is interwovenly in a mess as it stands now.

Don't quit Ur studies at the University yet. U can combine both trust me I know what I am saying. Get a veteran/mentor who is feeding from his skills and not just those that come to brag. Don't waste ur money on those IT schools what they will teach u are fundamentals that u can get on YouTube and coding sites online. They can never make u become a software developer. Software development is personal development. You have to put in the works by ur self. Determine to combine ur studies and this together and u will see that u will make it. There are lot of free time in the University. Those times u take to play video games, chess and Scrabble convert them to coding times. Get a laptop if u don't have any hit the net and download videos from YouTube, visit sites like developers.mozilla.org, codecademy, w3schools. com OK! Then try and get a mentor for direction on what to learn next after every frame work you have learnt. Tech organizations in Nigeria still ask for first degree so don't get deceived OK! Those who said they would have quit already have theirs in both ends so don't be deceived OK! Your certificate is not just only to look for jobs there are many other things it can serve for u in the future. So my last words, get a mentor and don't get lazy about it. This is the time to put in the works and trust me in know distance time you will be glad u did.

Secondly, for a starter gathering experience should be your priority for smooth career progression. Lastly, there's no job that's not stressful (except govt work). The problem we have in Nigeria is that we are too lazy we just want to pay money to these schools and believe they will turn us into gurus over night which is not true. If u, as u are now and u don't know that u can learn anything u want to learn through the internet then Bros u are not an IT person or someone who is dynamic. ICT is practical show me what u can do and not certificate from one yeye ICT school. Codeacdemy alone is enough to get u into the ICT world especially programing. Udemy, w3school, etc. are good place to start as a beginner. This sites will teach u step by step OK! Couple with lots of tutorial videos on YouTube. What u people collect money for and will still not teach well are free online only what the person need is to dedicate time for it with his or her laptop before u know it u are on track. For those who wants to start, go on YouTube get the tutorial videos visit the online sites like Codeacademy, Udemy etc. then get an established mentor in the industry of ur chosen ICT who is already building or earning very well from his skills and let him guard u trust me you will be better off than all this yeye schools and jobber men parading them selves on this platform to collect huge money that they cannot deliver quality service to justify the fee paid. What u need is constant practice and self motivation. U don't need these schools that collect high fees they will still not impact anything on you. U don't need their certificate for anything. ICT is practical stuff show us how well u can do this when called upon finish! If u can't do it your certificate in that ICT school can't help u end of story.

I'm thanking God for giving me a 2.2 during my schooling days. It made me a tougher person for the real world that need no X and Y in solving it's problems.
Many a times, certificates gives one these unrealistic entitlements in life . It can make someone to have a lazy mindset towards life.
With my 3.41 grade , It strengthens my mind to know that the world holds me nothing and as such I needed to work my way through the top. I ain't fustrated with the state of the Nigerian economy or unemployment rates index in the country because I'm not waiting for anyone to help my CV . Life is not fair.
My advice to the good genuine results graduate is this; please drop your certificate and think unconventionally. If our parents can make it without any education back in the days, education suppose be an added advantage and not hindrance to our sucess story. Think, Think and grow rich.
