Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Pls I Need Your Advice On This Cos It’s Really Giving Me Sleepless Night by onyegwu(m): 4:16am On Dec 25, 2023
Typical Nigerians faulting the victim in instead of the oppressor. You guys were not there when the whole arrangement was done. Did the woman in question objected to the fact that he said it was not part of the agreement for him to record the script? Whether there is a written document for the employment or not the woman needs to keep his own side of the bargain if she is not up to something at the get go. She can not come at the middle of the game to change the rules She did not make at the beginning. This only shows a dubious mind right from the onset. Why did she not hand over the job discription to her daughter immediately the interview was over and successful? She has no right to pay her whatever she likes after they have agreed upon something. Those of you saying he can not tender the whatsapp conversation as an eveidence of their negociation do not really know how the court works. What the court needs is just a snippet of evidence to start with then allow the woman to disprove it which will also lead to other things to be disproved during the process of disproving the first. When they say prove beyond reasonable doubt can the woman honestly do that ? Even with those whatsapp conversations? Please lets not continue to support evil. For me the money is too small to make any case from it. Assuming its huge I would have advice him to take it to the Office of the Public Defender lets see how the woman will escape it rubbish! You people always glamourising evil. A worker deserves his or her full pay and if you must pay anything less you must come with persuasive approach not this narssistic arrogance been displayed. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.

Dont sit on your high hypocricy to spill trash. Where were you when Hamass drew the first blood ? Did it not affect innocent israelee civilians? What was your take at that time. They can sit on any moral ground to justify their actions oK! for every actions there is an equal or even greater opposite reaction ok! Tell me one gain of your African Traditional Religion ! Give me one human face practice of them. Just one!
Catapault:

Spare me this NONSENSE.

You Christians have been on this forum for the past MONTH hailing and supporting the mass bombing of THOUSANDS of innocent civilians in Gaza by your brothers in Judaism in Israel.

Bombing that has killed 10,000 Palestinians including 4,000 children so far, as you all cheer the slaughter.

How DARE YOU sit on a moral high ground?

You filthy scum!

How DARE YOU equate African religion with killing and ‘blood rituals’?

If you don’t know what African religion and spirituality is, go and educate yourself, because you are an embarrassment.

Mentally colonised man.

Religion forced upon you is far far better than the devilish practice you guys call African spirituality. Tell me one gain of your so called African traditional religion, just one! Evil people committing evil in the name of worship. Tell me one of your worships that has a human face. Tell me !!

Soludo should face his state people. They are the ones into two faced practice. They go to Church on Sunday and go to shrine the next minute. They are the ones into deep idolatry worship and not totally all the southeast as he quoted.

DOTian:
These guys don't know Kwankwaso.
Kwankwaso is even far more parochial than Buhari. Have you watched his past interviews on issues like state creation or revenue allocations? For instance, Kwankwaso believes that more states need to be created in the North West that already has 7 states and that none should be created in the East. He was so annoyed with the insinuation that the east was being marginalized that he was basically threatening everybody in that interview.

Folks should leave the man alone. Whenever you see a political figure being worshipped like a god by northerners, it means that he has a very pro North foundamentalit views. Folks like Abacha and Osama bin laden are extremely popular in the north uptill this day, irrespective of how the rest of the world see them! Kwankwaso belongs to this group. Is he a good administrator? Maybe. But is he the kind of person that Peter Obi needs to make any change if he eventually wins? No! He is a hardcore tribalist.

A fanatic northern politician, who built schools in Niger republic without any kind of commensurate educational or economic investments in any part of the South..
Kwankwaso will never accept to run under a Peter Obi candidacy. Way too arrogant for that.
You said it all. I thought I was the only one but thank God you saw it too.

Worry about yourself not about people who you don't know.

I wonder who is expecting to carry out industrial activities before 4am. Especially when it's not as if Oro happens every week.

You don't have a valid point. You are merely a selfish disrespectful non-native expecting natives to live by your own will. Go back to your village and teach them all these things about development you are talking about.
So in your mind now you are the one making sense right?!! Until this country is divided Lagos will continue to be a cosmopolitan State so the earlier you realize this the better for you or you will just die of HBP. Your lots are so insignificant to do shit. Oro will be condemn whether is your fur Fathers culture or your Generation culture nobody cares ok! Oro is a barbaric cultural practice that does not have any human significant that needs to give way for human existence. And deserves no respect whatsoever kiss that!! It's so so unfortunate that young people like you who ought to know better are the willing tools that are used to champion this backwardness. So unfortunate !!

You want programmers to start earning 15k monthly, right? It's not bad enough that some website and graphics designers now live from hand to mouth? A profession that used to be "hot" in the marketplace and still hot in many countries has now turned to "pure water" in Nigeria because of our reactive tendencies.

Nigeria is not ripe for these things bruv. Industrial revolution is what we need at this level. Lets learn how to feed, and provide our basic necessities - toothpaste, toothpick, tissue, notepad, satchet tomatoes, bags, etc.

You see this digital thing everyone wants to do because they saw piggvest, cowrywise, abeg, Kuda's model, would soon destroy the country.

We should be learning from China and Taiwan at this level, do mini manufacturing, produce chips for bigger manufacturing companies, wires, plastic, tissue paper, pen, notepad, shoes, wigs, wristwatch, wall clock, window blinds, textiles, plastic, electric bulb, etc.

Please Google "manufacturing companies in Taiwan" or check China's Alibaba. Most of your phone's components were made by locals in these country, from Samsung to Apple, etc. Just mini companies doing great stuff for the bigger companies.

These are tech stuff our people can/should do, not push everyone to learn graphics or website development. After hustling for crumbs and competing with Indians on freelance websites, what next?

To save Nigeria, graduates must massively delve into manufacturing. Website development won't feed the country. It would only take a single soul or at most a family out of poverty until the profession "cast" like POS business. Oh, we don't produce the POS machine by the way.

Imagine 20 companies trying to produce different automotive/automobile components, e.g. gearbox, tyres, car seats, etc. all doing their stuff for Toyota in Nigeria. This is the Taiwanese secret.
You made so much sense. Though due to our lack of basic amenities like electricity it can be a little difficult but not unable but all the same I love your take on this one. Thank you.

Islam would have being the best religion if they can cub their jihadist tendency. Followers who always find passages to justify their wrong doings.
