savanaha:I felt like screaming when i watched the Gymnastics. My own mother even refused to watch the gymnastics section even though it is her favorite competition. They were biased and obviously blind. savanaha:This is truly sad. |
savanaha:Ahh i guess that just makes us some big bullies huh? LOL. Anyways. . . that is how it works. You show the good and the bad of a country. Watch the news. . . they show the good and the bad of the USA. I have even experienced some of those places deemed as a "ghetto". China is using these Olympics as a way to spread more propaganda. Watch CNN, ABC, CBS they all are saying this. In fact i don't even need to watch the news to know that it is propaganda. presido1:Are you serious? Are you really serious? So these London chix you sip tea with. . . . did the gov't tell them to strip before them to see if they were gorgeous enough? |
@presido Majority of the women's team were labled underage except for one who was supposely 20 years old. Why do you think folk are Anti China huh? You see all those women who carry signs where ever the team is about to move to its next event. . . . they had to be stripped before a panel just to make sure they were "beautiful enough". |
savanaha: presido1:Oka before i go on. . . . how many Chinese gymnast do you think they put out? ONE? NO!!! Why don't you go and look at their roaster. |
savanaha:First off. . . . i was the Captain on my debate team so i know how to debate. Any ways. . . . nobody trust the Chinese. They do any for the sake of image. Why do you think they only show what 10 percent of China has actual seen. And only 5 percent actually live in. They had the audacity to tell a little girl that she wasn't cute enough to be on stage so she had to stay back stage while "cutier" asian girl lip sync. SeanT21:Hell yeah. Look at the gymnastic competition. Those Chinese fell, landed wrong, sliped, missed steps. . . . . but would still get gold over the ones who did their routine close to perfect. |
presido1:Yeah this is from me and never once did i say "12 year old boy" "12 year old boy beat USA with 15 gold" so on and so forth. |
debosky:(coughing relentlessly) presido1:Because i have no idea what you are debating about. First i don't know what olympian who won 15 golds to beat The Great TEAM USA or some 12 year old boy. I don't know if you are being sarcastic, for real, or just a hater. |
Here's a list of just some of the athletes who have been banned from competing in Beijing, after testing positive for doping, before or during the games: Ouyang Kunpeng, Swimming (China) Anastasia Fatina and Anastasia Karabelshchikova, Rowing (Russia) Riis Anderson, Cycling (Denmark) Wang Hongni, Triathlete (China) Riccardo Ricco, Cycling (Italy) Tassos Gousis, Sprinter (Greece) Svetlana Cherkasova, 800 meter (Russia) Yulia Fomenko, 1500 meter (Russia) Yelena Soboleva, 800 and 1500 meters, (Russia) Tatyana Tomashova 1500 (Russia) Olga Yegorova, 1500 and 5000 (Russia) Gulfiya Khanafeyeva, Hammer Throw (Russia) Darya Pishchalnikova, Discus (Russia) [Here's a link to an article about all 7 of the above Russians] Jessica Hardy, Swimmer (USA) - 2 August Elena Antoci, 1500 meters (Romania) Cristina Vasiloiu, 1500 meters (Romania) Ioannis Drymonakos, Swimmer (Greece) Roman Usov, Steeplechaser (Russia) Lada Chernova, Javelin Throw (Russia) Vladimir Kanaykin, Race Walker (Russia) (slide #3) Valeri Borchin, Race Walker (Russia) (slide #4) Alexei Voyevodin, 50km (Russia) The latest rumors are surrounding various Chinese swimmers, who placed much higher in the 4X100 relay than expected. The Chinese team was ranked 39th in the world coming into the event, but will enter the finals as the #1 seed, after posting the best time in the qualifying heats. Is this a case of sour grapes, and merely an attempt by the American media to cast doubt on an inspirational performance by the Chinese? Doubtful. More than 30 Chinese swimmers failed drug tests in the 1990's, and the Chinese haven't been legitimate #1 contenders in swimming in recent years, so there's definitely something fishy about this first-place finish. |
presido1:Oka im completely lost. savanaha:Oka this is not how you debated. When you are given a reference, you don't subside it and go back to your previous statement and use it as a scapegoat. |
savanaha:Why don't you go and look at all the Chinese who were prohibited from playing these summer Olympics. presido1:Oka which 12 year old boy? presido1:Ha ha look at this one talk. You are now showing your true colors. Thanx for mentioning Micheal Phelps. I had suspicions over your post but now that you mentioned him. . . . you cleared them all up. Thank You Very Much. You did well. |
Blah Blah Blah it is all about the TEAM USA. They came in dominating and breaking records. Im extremely proud of my country and all the hardwork they put in and the determination they kept throughout. I have to give my props to China, they tried. . . . even if they cheated in gymnastics. Goes to show they needed a 12 year old acting like a 16 year old just to beat USA because they are just that good. All in all. . . . it goes to show that USA will continue to dominate as it should. Call it arrogance. . . . while we call it Being An American. |
stillwater:Well. . . . . she has a point there. I remember visiting Naija market the first time and it was my last. . . |
@post Get used to it because you are going to go through that for a little while longer. I have been experiencing that since i was a freshman in high school. When i went to the movies, grab me by the arms and tried to spit game. When i went to New York and went on the subway, guys was doing that stuff. No i don't even let it faze me cause aint giving any of them a time of day so just shrug it off and keep doing you. |
Joe Biden is a funny character with mouth that moves faster than Usain Bolts. |

Just like i told chiogo. . . . . no one can be like Kobe. Just like no one be like Micheal Jordan. Kobe is a born star. He just a natural leader and player. The plays he comes up with. . . . are just mind crunching. Kobe is always quit on his feet and wise of time. He understands his opponent and knows their ways. He is versatile and a true asset no matter what the game looks like. I have seen him bring his team from being 25 points down to 15 points ahead. Chris Paul is a wonderful player. He is smart and has that natural speed. But to say he can be better Kobe. . . . . is a stretch. |
Chiogo. . . . wake up from you slumber. There is no way Ronodo will be seen as great as Kobe. Kobe is a born star. When i say born star i mean a true Player. You see Kobe came in to the game with such accuracy and natural form. . . . he is hard to be compared to anyone. He has a natural flare and swag about him. That is why his jersey is worn and bought more than any other Basket Ball at this time. Ronodo needs to train himself to not be afraid to shoot. When he gets the, he instantly wants to pass it out or dribble. He needs to get the ball, induce his form, and take the shoot. He is great when it comes to rebounding and putting back other folk's ball in the basketball, but he gots to venture out of that and start making his own. |
chiogo:It wasn't even that much of a lead. . . . yal won because Kevin Garnett is on yal's team. With out him . . . yal would still be the same leprechauns. LOL. The green team does have a bunch of sexy lookin men on they team. I wouldn't mind being their training budy.LMAO!!! Yeah i have been playing basketball pretty much all my life. I played all through highschool and led my team to the championship game. It was one of the highlights of my basket ball career. |
problems. . . . . |
Yeah he has time to learn. I guess he can't be like Kobe who came in the game with that natural form. |
