RomanceRe: When Is The Rigth Time by onyinye2(f): 5:02pm On Aug 23, 2008
There is no right time. When you finally wait for the "right" time. . . . her right time might have already past.

@Onyinye2, home game my ass! I recall some were played in LA and others played in Boston. It wasn't all played in boston. The Celtics def. deserved to win, what? It was their year. They hadn't won in years. Well, you got me on the name thingy. I ain't a die-hard fan. I started watching B-ball because of my brother. And I fell in love with Rajon Rondo. LMAO! I don't even care about the rest except a few like KJ, PP, Allen, etc but to be honest, I don't know all the names of the Celtics players. How do you expect me to know those of TX? LOL
Well as you know, everything is bigger in Texas. . . . so i don't expect you to know all the players. There are just too many good ones to count. cool Rondo is just pure eye candy. Just sexy from head to toe with a great crossover. Yeah i was talking about the last game the Lakers played and it was a home game to the leprechauns. So of course they are going to favor them when it comes to fouls and such. I have been a basket ball fan since i was 4 years old. In fact basket ball is my first love. I have been playing since i was ten.

@Onyinye2, Yao?? Isn't he the 'over-tall', Asian player? LMAO! I don't know who scola is. I gotta watch it harder. They're not popular! *My bad*

@MandigoII, I get what you're saying. But I bet you that if they had gone for it, it would most likely not be counted and labelled as 'foul'. Just like the Lakers Vs Celtics in the championship, everything the Celtics did was 'foul'. It got me sooo mad. Lakers commit their own foul but nobody says anything. Well, luckily, the true winners took the gold at the end of the day - Celtics. In this case, Nigeria is the under-dog and they played their part. But unfortunately, they didn't win.
Chiogo you know that is BS!!!! grin The Celtics had the game in their favor, it was a home game. So all the fouls went to them. Lakers deserved that win so i know they are going to come in to this season hungry. Celtics are going to be victims of the Lakers curse. Just ask the Pistions. How do you not know Scola? Mayne you aint no true fan. I know all the players on the Celtics even the ones who play no games.
The way he slashes to the paint and beats bigger guards leaving them for death is what amazes me he is also one of the best stealers in the game all he needs is to perfect his 3 point shooting game if he can do that he would be unstoppable
His speed can be an asset and a fault. During a fast break, he can get down the court quick, but he hasn't acquired that natural form in him. So when he tries to make threes on a fast break, it usually doesnt go in. But if he can train himself to balance himself and train is body to that perfect form. . . . what wonders he can do.

@Onyinye2, Wha wha?? Who are the lephracuns(whatever that means)?? When it comes to my sexy hunks, Rajon & kevin, I get down for my team! Don't even go there, LOL! You stay in TX and supporting Lakers. Your city got no good players??
Oh lol. . . that is just a name folk gave to the Celtics. We call them the Leprechauns. Any ways. . . i have to admit 89% of your team goes in the sexy category. Yeah i support the Lakers and The Dynamic Houston Rockets. grin Of course we got good players. Did you not see Yao and Scola in the Olympics?

RomanceRe: Nigerian Women Should Thank God That Nigerian Men Date And Marry Them. by onyinye2(f): 4:16pm On Aug 23, 2008
Blah Blah Blah. Like they are God's gift to women. tongue Please. Nigerian men are in the same category as any other man. Each culture/race/nationality/ethnic group has something special . . . . . so to put Nigerian men overall is just propaganda at its worst.
SportsRe: Nba Season '08/09 by onyinye2(f): 4:14pm On Aug 23, 2008
Oh yeah. . . . Chris Paul has been proving himself time and time again. He uses his height as an advantage. He does ill crossovers and jumps the highest for rebounds. And he got speed. He is quick on his feet and always ready for a fast break.

@Onyinye2, it's not only a Nigerian thing. Americans do it too. I'm referring to your comment about Nigerians not supporting their players, and hence making the players move to other countries.

Yes, they tried but criticism helps people to improve. Ofcourse, we all know they tried their best but obviously, their best wasn't enough. I'm sure these players don't even want to hear they did good, they know they could have done better.

I remember when New england patriots(my team) lost to NY giants. Well, I'm not really a fan of much sports save for B-ball. Only reason I call it my team is because it's a boston team, they're all my teams! Anywayz, at school the next morning, most teachers were so pissed, they took it out on us. Same as college professors(my siblings told me). My male friends who are die-hard fans didn't even want to talk about. It was all fun for me but immediately I brought it up, they all go 'please, I don't want to talk about that'. And I was like 'shoot'.

So, anywayz, it's not a Nigerian thing. It's what real fans do. With time, they'D get over it. LOL!
I love the Lakers with all my heart. So when they lost to the lephrachuns. . . . it hurt. I was pissed, that was their Championship and it was tooken by the green team. But you didn't see me going around on a hunger strike or taking it out on nobody. I guess i have been an athlete long enough to know that you should learn from your mistakes and be proud of your performance, and come back betta, fasta, and stronga.

I having been watching the Olympic on NBC and whenever Usain ran one announcer would say he hopes he would just run and not show boat. The only reason America is concerned with Bolts show boating or what not is because they are not the ones impressing the world with such an amazing speed. Haters
You obviously didn't watch Great Britain's performance in Men's 4x400. . . . if you call that us hating on them. . . . you obviously don't know what Sportsmanship is.

Nigeria had already won three previous bronze medals. . . . . now they can add a silver medal to that.

Well lets make Boozer the fall-guy then i don't really blame him though as he isnt getting too many minutes and he isnt the most dominant man on the paint either.Dwight Howard seems to be stealing some of his shine
Well yeah. . . . Boozer aint really one of the majors. Dwight Howard is a real asset on that team. He gets the rebounds, takes open shots, and shots accurate free throws. But i must admit the team would be nothing with out LeBrone, Kobe, and Dwayne.

For real you guys are just a shame. Nigeria did great and yet you still have pity for them? No wonder majority of these Nigerian players leave for other countries. There is no support. All yal can do is blame and be angry. One of yal even said you haven't even eaten all day cause you so mad. This is why Nigeria will never compete with other countries in medal count. With all this blame game and pity. . . . . i wonder if yal understand the Greatness of the game. Yal talk as if yal were in the game. . . . yal would have been any help. This is truly a pity and disgrace.

All those not proud of our men. . . . think of it like this:

How many African Countries can say they BEAT TEAM USA in soccer?
How many African Countries have reached as far as Nigeria?
How many African Countries can say they murdered Belgium?
How many African Countries have won any many medal in Olympic soccer?
How many African Countries can only give Argentina who average three goals/game only one?

Of course what do you expect its an all-star team nobody wants to get outdone by their team-mates they are all stars with big egos and no one would want to be the fall-guy
If so, why isn't Boozer on his A-game? He hasn't been doing much of anything. Or been proving to that coach of theirs that he should have more game time.
SportsRe: Nigeria (0) - Argentina (1) In 2008 Olympics Final by onyinye2(f): 1:12pm On Aug 23, 2008
Mayne my father was pretty upset. He really wanted Nigeria to bring home the hardware. But he is still proud of his home country. Nigeria tried but couldn't get passed that Messi. He his truly an asset to those Argies. But i must say, it was obvious who the favorites were. Every little touch on those Argies, they would fall on the floor like spinless trees. But Nigeria just keep on playing how they knew. . . . . and that is Nigerian Football. I am indeed proud of my people . . . we deserved gold but i will accept the silver.
