Boss Man i have done ooo

Looking up to IRCC to bless me and plenty of us here with PPR.

Your application is doing well anyways. A month plus but you're almost done.... Only bosses can pull such moves.

I wish us all sweet sweet breakfast.

Thanks a lot.

It was Q-Life, and it was alright.

Have you done your medical examination too?

Just evaluate your ND and BSc, these 2 will fetch you 2 or more degree which is additional point.

Thanks

Aladeope:
please I want to request for WES evaluation but I want to know which of my transcript do I need to send to them.

I am an OND,HND&BSC Graduate, I obtained my Bsc through a direct entry which I start from 300 level.

please do I need only the bsc transcript for my evaluation or all the transcript from OND till Bsc?

I will appreciate your responses.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ooa1st: 3:52pm On Apr 20, 2021
Yes it might be technical error and it is the responsibility of both/neither IRCC & applicant to express concern on a failed transaction.... Both parties have moral responsibility to that effect, it isn't out to place for any of the party to have notify each other.... Funny enough, the transaction might be with the 3rd party payment solution/fintech company (in this case, money leaves applicant account & never hits IRCC account) very possible.

However, I don't want you to write off some smart and unwholesome moves too (false debit or transfer, cross firing of transactions among others)

Let's see how things unfold.

I wish him best of luck, him winning this battle is a win win for everyone on this platform

Anon123:
But IRCC should have contacted the applicant and let him know that the visa fee payment didnt go through before now. Besides its not its fault but from the payment platform or service at the time of payment.

I think its unfair to be issued a procedural fairness letter cos the issues raised is a technical fault not from the applicant
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ooa1st: 3:24pm On Apr 20, 2021
Someone finally reacting the way I reacted when I saw the chargeback stuff.

Looks like the transaction for the study permit application was reversed or something like a vendor stacking a reclaim of that transaction.

If you did pay yourself, can you show proof and authenticate that transaction?

If someone paid for you, I would advise you reach out to the person as fast as possible.

I have little idea of immigration and how to appease a VO, but as a finance person, A chargeback simply means a reclaim (I might be wrong tho). How this happen... Local man has no idea undecided

I wish you luck

Spectro:
You still do not understand how dire this situation is. You place emphasis on the IMM form and don't seem to be worried about the chargeback.

Good luck!

Hello,

Just get an invoice from the school stating your details and also get the school wire details, irrespective of the currency the invoice is denominated, the bank will always do a cross rate to determine the equivalent CAD/USD required for the transaction.

Also, I feel First bank trade in CAD also, they have a corresponding bank in Montreal(info I got). Note I said corresponding bank not a branch or an outlet.

Thanks

emmalextemtop:
Yes my bank told me to ask the school (Algonquin College), for invoice in USD, since First bank doesn't have CAD, the school wote back to me saying they can't give invoice in CAD.

what do i do now?

The form A will take how many days?

And how did you paid yours?

I might sound pessimistic but i feel initiating a FORM A with Zenith is a no brainer.

I had my fair share of experience when i had the privilege to pick btw First bank with a week payment with a little higher rate and Zenith with unknown payment date with lower rate.

Mumu me picked zenith, 1 month and Zenith never did the transaction, i had to retire the transaction and go for the First bank option i initially left, by the time i activated the First bank offer, i had to pay 14 CAD more on each CAD i purchased.... I cried faya.

So i would advise, look for other banks.. I will recommend UBA, GTB, FIRST, FCM and Stanbic.

Thanks

Ketima:
Hello Seniors,
Please I need clarification on this. Zenith bank is yet to debit me for the tuition fee deposit, which has affected me not having a receipt from the institution to show payment of the tuition deposit. But then, I have evidence of payment initiation from my own side, sign and stamped. Waiting for them to debit the money before I can print my account statement of account, but till now nothing. They said it may take 3 weeks before my account will be debited.

Please do I go ahead and explain that in my SOP and attached proof that I have initiated tuition fee payment and maybe, say once the institution receives the fee, I will send the proof through the webform. Is it a good idea? Because time is against me, and I need to submit my application for sept intake. Please I seriously need your opinion.

Thanks.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ooa1st: 7:15pm On Apr 04, 2021
To answer your enquires

1, the English test isn't compelled, however, it might do your application some favour if you have it, as it is a prerequisite for NSE which helps to fast track application (according to IRCC, but many NSE qualified applicant have been waiting for months without verdict on their application)

Type of English test could be either I.e Academic or General test

2, BVL means Biometric Validation Letter, while NSE means Nigerian Study Express Program ( NSE explained above)

2. Meaning of BVL and NSE?

My application could have mirrored or fair better if Zenith bank hasn't turn out to be a pain in the ass for 5 days and counting.

Applied 25th of March
Bio request 26th
Did bio on 29th
Got MBS request 31st (cause I submitted my Ielts already, just MBS left)
Couldn't get my sponsor to visit the bank and Zenith bank has been having technical issues with internet and online banking for 5 days... I'm stuck and highly livid by this ineptitude performance from Zenith.

God will come through for us las las

I wish everyone success, at least your application give hopes that we Nigerians aren't forgotten by IRCC.

AYO LO MA JASI

Biometrics invitation letter on 12th March
Biometrics done on 15th March

I am patiently waiting. I pray it will end in praise.

Great. Please when did you apply?. What date this month?.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ooa1st: 8:40am On Mar 31, 2021
Thanks again boss.

I already applied for my own MBS and I got the code 2 weeks ago. Why I really don't feel upbeat about submitting it is because I only started building the account around August which is 8 months now & I have transactions in 7 digits all through these 8 months. As we all know MBS carries 12 months banking history, I am skeptical about the prior 4 months with very few transaction. Hope the VO won't consider the irregularities or sudden change in turnover?

But for my sponsor... No issues whatsoever.

So you suggest I do both or just his alone

Thanks

Frankrobbn1:
I believe your sponsor should have the highest volume of funds in his bank statement. You can provide his Mybank Statement Certificate for this purpose. Since you omitted some documents during the submission of your application, you're absolutely free to attached those documents with the requested information.

It will end in praise
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by ooa1st: 7:59am On Mar 31, 2021
Frankrobbn1, thank you bossman.

Like you rightly said, I attached my English test result but used a regular bank statement not MBS, the request letter I got this morning only asked for MBS, no IELTS.

My main concern is, should I get MBS from myself and my sponsor or that of my sponsor alone is sufficient?

Note, I already submitted a regular bank statement of 6 months.

Also can I add a document that wasn't requested to the MBS & upload together (I omitted employer intro letter and death certificate of my dad).

Thanks once again (please anyone with idea can help address the concerns raised.

IT WILL END IN PRAISE

Frankrobbn1:
If you included a my bank statement certificate and a copy of your IELTS with your application, IRCC will not request for any of these documents from you again under the NSE program. On the contrary that you didn't attach them with your application, then you will be contacted by IRCC to provide them to continue processing your application.

I hope this satisfies your inquiry.

It will end in praise

Good morning everyone,

All the gurus in the house, please assist me, I have gotten NSE request already.

Please help address the question below.

@justmellow @frank @lekiboboe please  help out

ooa1st:
Good day House,

Please I submitted my application with my uncle's (sponsor) & my personal statement of account for 6 months. I also submitted my English waiver from my school and IELTS result.

If by chance I get NSE request,

1, do I still need MBS?
2, if 1 is yes, would I require MBS of my uncle (sponsor) alone or I will have to submit MBS of my personal account too?

Also can I attach intro letter from my employer to the MBS, as I only attached my offer letter, pervious work letter, promotion letter

Good day all,

I'm Ajibola by name and I really appreciate what you guys are doing on here. God reward you all for the insightful contributions you all make in helping us navigate this process.

Please I have just been offered admission by Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia. Course is post-baccalaureate diploma in Supply chain management. Though I have ND in Banking & Finance and also BSc in Banking & Finance. I worked in the finance dept of my current company for a full calendar year in 2014 before going back to school, I return to the company in 2018 and I am currently working in the same finance dept.

I am being skeptical about my educational qualification and work experience and the Supply-chain course I have been offered. How would the VO view this application?

Then again the financial aspect of it, as for July last year, I really didn't have much in my main account, so some proceed came in and they were constantly in 7 digit up till last month, my account balance as of today 3 Feb is currently 9.2m, which I don't know if it will be sufficient? the inflow from August till now, could that be an issue? Kindly note all funds are legitimate.

I also have my late fathers properties which I have access to, also another property but jointly owned, a pension account, a mutual fund account with coronation merchant bank up till 2.5m.

What are my chances, I don't have a sponsor, I am all by my self.

Your advice would be highly appreciated
