European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Where Are The Lampard Critics? Gerrard Sucked Big Time Last Night! by opeemi1(m): 12:43pm On Jun 07, 2007 |
Is that the number of your post, or where you born in 1993. I won't deny the fact that Frank is a very good and competitive midfielders. But look back at England and in the clubs they both play in, Gerrard is just undeniably better in play than Frank. Do you agree? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Where Are The Lampard Critics? Gerrard Sucked Big Time Last Night! by opeemi1(m): 12:27pm On Jun 07, 2007 |
@ Razorr Everytime I read your post, there is this humour there that makes me laugh maybe the way you create multiple threads and try to blaspheme the fact that Gerrard is better than Lampard or make Liverpool look like the worst club that ever existed with its fans. Atleast, Thank God you know that it was only last night Gerrard performed low. When England played against Brazil, why didn't you post the ratings from The Sun or did they forget that England played against Brazil? , but meanwhile you had another great news about Liverpool's fan behaviour in the UEFA CL. Is it me or is it that you have an outright feud against Liverpool and its players plus the fans? |

@ loyika loyika:Thanks you for that wonderful question. The topic 'Lampard, Gerard And The England Midfield' has not being replied to since the match between Chelsea and Liverpool where you made an hilarious post after Liverpool won. I don't know why there is this much feud on liverpool fans. |
TV/Movies / Re: What Will A Nigerian Superhero Be Like? by opeemi1(m): 11:15am On Jun 04, 2007 |
Hmmm! I gave a thought about a Holy Fighter, more like a Christian super-hero that fights Spiritual forces to protect Nigerians of the evil its becoming with agents everywhere. The story-line would involve most of this happenings(horror) in Nigeria now. Just like Van-Helsing. All we need do is we make it in series. I believe there are lot of things that could really be created. Story-lines could be written by a group of people. as long as a tradition is followed up. What do you think? |

Dear! Dear!! I thought 'Razorr' would come back to this thread to admit the fact that Gerard skills in the game is better than her dear boy Lampard, but it seems that the shame at which they didn't qualify for the Finals has really made her refrain from the fact. Hope you get the message. I like Chelsea, BUT THEY AIN'T GODS. |

I didn't see Lampards scoring goals to earn him a place among the PFA Premier League Team of the Year this season whereas Gerrard was among them. As I said earlier scoring goals is not how to weigh the quality of a player. |

Football is a Sport like any other sport, we get entertained by what we see on field. You said the most important thing is scoring goals(No doubts), but was it goal scoring that made Ronaldinho the best footballer in the world twice? For the record, throughout his(Gerrard) career he has won the PFA Young Player of the Year, PFA Player of the Year, European Midfielder of the year, Premier League Most Valuable Player (twice), and UEFA Most Valuable Player. He has also been awarded the MBE for his outstanding contributions in both the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final and the 2006 FA Cup Final in which he greatly inspired his team's comeback. He lead his team into winning; 2006-07 Community Shield 2005-06 FA Cup 2004-05 UEFA Champions' League 2002-03 League Cup 2001-02 European Super Cup 2001-02 Charity Shield 2000-01 UEFA Cup 2000-01 FA Cup 2000-01 League Cup And Runner up; 2005 FIFA Club World Championship 2004-05 League Cup 2002-03 Charity Shield 2001-02 FA Premier League (Level 1) Goes to show you that he(Gerrard) is a Great Team Leader. |
Sports / Re: Lampard, Gerard And The England Midfield by opeemi1(m): 11:22am On Apr 17, 2007 |
Football is a Game. A game were the players are cross examined by the quality they possess. At First, I agree very much with the analysis of PDF at which Gerrard is a Great team Leader and playmaker than Lampard. No one is saying Gerrard is the best and Lampard is not, NO. Players have different qualitities that makes them stand out. Gerrard is like 3 players in one playing Defensive, Midfield and Attacking positions when the time needs, he is currently one of the best playmaker still living. Lampard can never be that. Lampard is a good example of a CMF(Central Mid Fielder), which he plays it very superbly. He is very good at long range & short range shots not forgeting his ability to play Free kicks. I will say there plays don't mix with each other easily in the English Squad(England), both are better shown off in there teams. I am a fan of both players. But the fact remains that Gerrard is a better team leader and playmaker than Lampard while Lampard is a better Goal scorer than Gerrard. And about the awards being giving to Lampard is because of what he is best good at(Goal Scoring). |
