So, that's the question. This is a logical reasoning question, not a math formula x + 2 = y question and i guess that's why many people detour from the correct path to the answer.

To answer, I will break it down piece by piece,

1st part: u enter a bedroom
2nd part: there r 34 people
3rd part: u kill 30 people
4th part: how many people in d bedroom

From d analysis above, what concerns d answer is "the people in the bedroom". So we have 2 keywords to solve this riddle: "people" and "bedroom". These r the 2 keywords.

Ok, so let's find out what we know about d bedroom

1st part: says, "you enter a bedroom (comma)"
From this, we know that 1 person is in the bedroom

2nd part: says, "there are 34 people (full stop). It doesn't say there are 34 people in the bedroom. No "and" or "semi-colon" before the "there", and there is no "in" or "inside" the room in the statement. So we don't know where exactly d 34 people are, but we know they are not in d bedroom. So this part is just a distraction to throw some confusion into the mix

3rd part: says, "you kill 30 people". It doesn't say where the 30 people are or that they are part of the 34 people mentioned before. We don't know. But what we know is their location is not linked to the bedroom. It doesn't say you kill 30 people in the bedroom

Ok, so far, we know for sure 1 person is inside d bedroom. This should b the correct answer right? Well, it should af been BUT there's a final twist an this is where d main critical thinking part is. This is d fun part . So lez examine d 4th part, which is the main question of d quiz.

4th part: says how many people are in the bedroom

Remember, we analysed 2 keywords b4. We af dealt with one "bedroom". Time to look at d 2nd one "people"

D questions says how many "people" are inside d bedroom.

People = PLURAL of person, that is, 2 or more persons
You can't say 1 people. This is wrong. You can only use people for multiple persons.

D question doesn't say how many persons are inside the room. It says how many "people". This is d trickiest part of d quiz

From the earlier analysis, we know for a fact that ONLY 1 person (singular) is inside the room. There are no "people" in the bedroom. So the correct answer is ZERO.

There are 0 people in the bedroom. So the 2 guys that answer 0 and the guy that said "None" are the people that got the correct answer
