Paul didn't say didn't say this is directly from the Lord and he didn't say if women didn't cover their hair they will go to Hell.

But Paul said this is a custom. Custom tells you what you need to do to be a part of a group or a society. And to be a part of the Church as at that time you must cover your hair as a woman.
But the gospel tells you what you need to do to make heaven and have a foretaste of heaven on earth.

Women covering hair is nothing but a custom for believer as at the time that verse was written. But if you choose to follow it fine and if you don't want to follow it there is nothing wrong with that.

Please read your Bible very well. Apostle Paul said those women who do not cover their head in the presence of God (When are we not in His presence? He's everywhere with us!), such who are married dishonour their husband - their head and God whom their husband represented in their lives. Those single sisters who are not covering their heads dishonour God directly. Can you dishonour God of heaven and earth and not end it all in the hell fire?

If you are believing those Pastors who trivialises the word of God just to get more members to come to their church, no matter who they are, rather than God, you at risk of ending badly. Those who says "God needs your heart", yes but He didn't demand you to disobey His word. What you do reflects what you have in your heart! If that kind of heart that dishonours God is to be reckoned with, then it is dirty! Every word of the LORD in the Bible is a law and commandment of the Lord (Mind you, Jesus has not come to abolish the law rather He came to fulfill them), break it at will and find yourself at the other end of the road. What will "Not covering your head do for you?" Some will not even go to a church because they used to cover their heads there, it is because they will not dishonour God in their midst, simple!
