@OP..I cannot determine if its imperative or not! What i can say is that sex doesn't 'really' determine the longevity of a relationship....However,a relationship without sex doesn't also imply that the union will work out well in the foreseeable future! Some folks want to use the 'no sex before marriage' policy to tie a partner down or determine their faithfulness forgetting that both partners can get married, have the long awaited sex and still divorce leading such person who made such policy to go back to square one! It changes nothing if you have sex or not(that should be a decision between both partners)....but what should be paramount or of great importance should be about the level of the partners' emotional maturity and compatibility! In simple terms, date someone with the same mindset like yours.....Don't date a bad guy and expect him to agree wholeheartedly with your 'no sex before marriage' policy |
Romance › Re: Is Sex Necessary In A Relationship? by openmine(m): 6:10pm On Dec 12, 2020 |
Nazgul: To me sex isn't necessary.
From my past relationships, if I'm to advice any girl I'll tell them to avoid sex and stand on it. Sex makes you suspicious of your partner. It makes you have unnecessary problems, unnecessary commitments, unnecessary responsibilities.... etc. How many guys would you keep offering your body to just to make them stay?
What makes most guys wants sex is when the financial demand from the girl becomes too much. Most girls will tell you that they're not ready for sex, but will still want you to show dedicated financial commitments towards them. No guy will ever agree to that.
Many girls naturally lack wisdom. Let me share a my own experience here. I met this girl some years ago, she told me her usual no sex till marriage. I asked her if she's a virgin she said no that she dated just one guy who broke her heart and now she has decided to zip up till her wedding night.
To me, I didn't have any problem with that. My problem was that this girl literally flirts on the phone with guys even in my presence. When I confront her she'll tell me they're just toasters that she doesn't have anything with them. She receives calls like a call center agent. Always on Facebook and WhatsApp till even midnight. And to make matters worse she's the urgent 2k type. So tell me would any guy in my shoes honour her request to date without sex....of course not. I had to end the whole stuff cos she wasn't contributing to my life in anyway. Most times I initiate a discussion with her on chat, she can't even sustain it without indirectly telling me one problem or the other she has.
My take...if you don't want sex in a relationship and you don't want to have any problem with your man concerning your stand, then avoid unnecessary request so it won't make him feel that you're owing him. Avoid flirting with other guys on phone and in reality. Concentrate on your relationship by looking for ways to make an impact in his life. It could be through business ideas, could be counseling, could be partnership in business, education...etc. also develop yourself. Let him see that your life is progressing. That you're successful in whatever it is that you're into.
Make him see you as someone he can't do without and he'll stick to you regardless of your no sex stand. Nice points! |

While this piece of advice is imperative and instructive we must also ensure we get to the root cause of jungle justice abinitio! If an armed robber is caught and taken to the station, the same bandit will be released and come for those who caught him! There was a particular street where a notorious armed robber and cultist had been operating freely until some worried and concerned individuals staying there paid some vigilante to catch and arrest the guy.....can you believe two days later, this same criminal was already released and one after the other,he killed all those who participated in paying the vigilante to capture him.....He was finally killed by a rival cultist! So while we say no to Jungle justice,we must call on the security operatives to do their primary responsibility! Most of our security operatives esp the police force are culpable for releasing these bandits after being heavily bribed by their sponsors! |

This snake is a puff adder
This is a very venomous and dangerous snake native to much of Africa and portions of Saudi Arabia. Studies have shown that more than 50% of severe envenomations left untreated result in death. Envenomation may cause severe hypotension/shock as well as hemolytic, coagulopathic, hemorrhagic, and local reactions.

amc: Stop being simple-minded. All you need to do is dispute the facts he listed. How does the record bring an end to bokoharam? How does the numbers impede terrorism, kidnapping and armed robbery in northern states like sokoto, katsina, kaduna and borno state? Of what use are those statistics if people keep dying everyday? Didnt the president aka sheriff boastfully declare in 2015 that he will wipe out insecurity from the country esp borno state in 4 months into his administration or has his 'body language' stopped working? |
Politics › Re: Zulum: Buhari Did Better In Borno, Despite Killings, Statewide Records Show by openmine(m): 3:10pm On Dec 07, 2020 |
Your people are dying and you shamelessly have the time to make a statistics of the deaths that happened before and after the coming of the president! So Mr zulum are you saying that the lives of those who died during the present administration are insignificant? So how does the record help or assist in bringing down bokoharam and other security issues esp in borno? Next time don't come and cry out to Nigerians that your people are dying! Imagine? |

Are you saying every policeman is SARS? If your answer is yes, then it means every deadlocked guy with a laptop is a Yahoo boy. Are you also happy and impressed with the performance of an average police personnel in your domain or in the country? if your answer is yes, then i can confidently say you are typing from another country! Lets even admit without conceding that SARS has been taken out, were the members of SARS not policemen then?....when it was disbanded, didnt they come back to being policemen? The guy you replied stated explicitly that the police needs to be reformed,he never said the police should be done away with as you are wrongfully alluding to! |
