Not true sir/ma. It's 200L or 300L depending on the course & duration.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended registration for the unified tertiary matriculation examination till Sunday 11, by 12 midnight.

The board said registration for Direct Entry candidates continues.

JAMB Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, made the announcement in a statement after a meeting with directors of the agency on Tuesday, in Abuja.

The board advised candidates to use the period to complete their registration as request for further extension would not be entertained.

The statement reads: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announces the extension of registration for 2018 UTME till midnight of Sunday, 11thFebruary, 2018.

“JAMB as a responsive organization has taken the decision albeit with great hesitation to accommodate candidates who failed to register between the two months window period that ended at midnight of Tuesday, 6th February, 2018.

“The failure of these candidates to register is unfortunate and the board hastens to add that this culture of impunity will not be tolerated and indeed penalty may be imposed for late registration in future.

“UTME candidates are therefore strongly advised to take advantage of the extension to register as request for further extension would not be entertained.”

Earlier, JAMB registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede had told reporters that a total of 1,451,691 million candidates had registered for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, while 39,663 candidates were for the Direct Entry.

He stated this when he received the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu.

I applied For Regularization on 19jan.... My School haven't submitted My application form as of Today (I called Jamb office in my state) Meanwhile one of them told me to buy d e-pin so dat even if d sell of DE closes I can still apply with the already bought pin.... dats whr am confused

Wait till when? Though jamb might extend the registration date, it's not advisable coz it's a big risk as we don't know when u will be regularized.

Alternatively, if you can't wait can register with "OTHER DIPLOMA" and change it to ND when you are eventually regularized.

I think d error must be from your side.
Send ya names in full in an sms to 55019

Note: u must have minimum of #50 credit on ya phone.
Check d Destination critically "55019".
Also note dat d maximum characterz is 38 plus d two Spaces making 40 characters.

YES. Some of my friends made use of Other Diploma to Kwasu lax year to avoid regularization stuff cox dey Graduated from School Of Health without JAMB admission or registration number.

Moreover, try to choose skuz dat are less Competitive preferably where u kno someone or where you can get information from easily.

Good evening nlders.
I brought this topic here on behalf of my sister.
Straight to business- My sister got admitted to study an engineering course in a state polytechnic (part time).
During their final exam, she had carry over in one of the courses. She later sat for the exam.
Although, she's yet to do clearance she went to purchase DE e-pin. After which she proceeded to jamb office to register. When she got there, she paid for the form #900.
When it got to her turn, she told the guy who's about registering her if it's possible to do it with an awaiting result of which he said yes providing that before the school releases her admission list, she must have uploaded the result.
Now, this is where the problem lies.
The guy asked her if she has jamb registration number, and she said yes. He then asked to see it and she showed him.
Immediately, the guy said that's not it. That the one she showed him was given to her by the school to run a part time programme.
That she needs to do regularisation asap.
or still, she can run a diploma programme in the school which after that, regularisation won't be a problem again.
Note deadline for jamb registration is 6th of Feb. and time is of immense value.
Now, my question is- How possible is it for one to do the regularisation before meeting the deadline?
2: Is it advisable she accepts the diploma offer regarding her age (25) this year?
3: As someone who doesn't want to limit her quest for education to only HND is it advisable she considers it too?

Questions ñö1: D time is too short. Can't meet up with dix Year DE.

Question ñö2: No. Not a good option.

Question ñö3: She can proceed to her HND program and @ d same time start d Registration processing against Next Year DE Admission.

Note: "No Age limit in quest for knowledge"

Jamb Regularization is formally called "to Late Application".
It's meant for candidates that are already in Any higher institution But without JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER.

It cost 10k [online official payment]
After processing, Jamb will issued fresh registration number 2 u which you can now use to register for ya DE or NYSC.

U should have applied for Regularization stuff b4 now. Wait till u sort out d issue of regularization.

D other alternative for you is to Select "OTHER DIPLOMA" if u insist on obtaining DE form dix year.
