Senator Ajimobi never had issue with King Ladoja, the kingship/crown issue was very unfortunate. Late Ajimobi was later vindicated because Governor Makinde later played politics with the issue to hit back at king Ladoja, after initially supported the position of the King.

Sentiments aside, we all know that after the Buhari/Osinbajo merger, Atiku/Obi merger is the strongest political merger in the history of the country.

Which leaves me asking, what will Tinubu do if Obi agrees to deputize Atiku? In my opinion, I think he'd be forced to drop Shettima for Kwankwaso.. as water don pass garri.

But wait, Tinubu still has another hurdle to bypass, which is; What if Seyi Makinde wins PDP presidential primary? And proceeds to run, won't that be a big blow to Tinubu's second term ambition, as another Southern candidate will further divide his Southern votes..


To cut it short, If Atiku/Obi becomes a thing in 2027, while Seyi Makinde runs under PDP, how will Tinubu win?

Where do you think Seyi Makinde will get his votes from apart from Oyo state? Few people still fighting for the PDP are Northerners. Tinubu even lost two SW states in 2023.
An Atiku/Obi ticket will not win Delta,Edo, Lagos, Christian votes, or the middle belt the way Obi did in 2023. Watch out for Lagos votes in 2027, it will cancel out whatever Atiku/Obi will get in SE.
Even Tinubu's Northern enemies in APC will work for him in 2027, knowing that the presidecy is coming to then in 2031

Dora Akunyili once told us how she thought her appointment was 419 when she received the call from Obasanjo. She still did not believe Obasanjo was the one who called her. The man relied on recommendations and he didn't need to know you directly to do the job. If he wanted the best, he will get them from anywhere. I'm not surprised, this man only believes in those who he knows and pledge loyalty to him, not the state. I am not surprised anyway. He said he'll continue from where Buhari stopped. It means that APC as a party believes in tribe and ethnicitsm. Buhari did it, Tinubu is doing it too. It's our turn, emilokan. You can't unite a nation this way.

But same Obasanjo appointed Sunday Afolabi, Fabian Osuji, Maurice Iwu and Olu Agunloye. We still remember the damage Agunloye caused, which we are still battling today.

You can not always get it right 100%. I expect to see the like of Fayemi in the next batch

The national chair and the governor are the same zone and are neighbors. If Caleb who defeated him joins APC, the heavy heights in the central zone will give way and that is the battle. Most of those elected under APC are there by the "no structures" judgement but the reality is Caleb is very popular in northern and southern zone and will defeat APC. So APC vendors are working hard to win him over but the elites are threatened

Really? The decamping into APC is undertaking by vendors, they want Caleb because they can't win Plateau State. The governor can't jump on the train because his supporters who made him have openly told him he join any party but not APC. Plateau politics isn't as simple as in other states.

Baba Obj said in his speech that he was in Rwanda, and that Fayose should cover his logistics for him to attend the birthday. Since he is retired, the transportation cost needed to be taken care of. That was the reason Fayose sent him the money. Fortunately for Baba, Dangote sent his private jet to bring him back.
When things eventually went bad between the two of them, Fayose requested that his money be returned since Baba got free ride through Dangote, and Baba Obliged.
