What do you expect from a country that is working everyday to be at the top. Come to think of it, African countries have lots and lots of tourist attractions, but few are being showcased, while the rest just rot away. Very sad! |

Olu317: Well, I don't expect you to care because you don't know much of these things. Kindly allow me to pass these information to you and your likes as follows:
1. Horus of egypt was worshipped in Egypt but isn't related to Yoruba's mode of worship because Horus remained nothing to Yoruba cosmology except being known in Yoruba language as Ooorun( sun).
2. Where did you get it that Oya is the most powerful Orisha? Wonders shall never end. Kindly study the actual the Oya in Yoruba's cosmology and compare her with Ori before you conclude because you are wrong! The greatest orisha is Ori; Eledaa is what you need Sir. Plainly the Eledaa(creator) is the most powerful Orisha.
3. The light bearer is Ela; Orunmiela( heaven broke forth and light descended) and not your view. That's the Yesu(Hebrew) and Esu(Yoruba). He is called the prince of mid air in Ifa corpus and onibode òrun(entrance to heaven)
4. Find out more on Olokun,Osun,Esinmirin history in Yoruba legends,so that you will realise that there many waters in Yoruba cosmology.
5. Sufism, is known but not from Egypt but of Arab's origin, which was brought into existence by prophet muhammed. Islam herself originated in Mecca and Medina at the start of the 7th century, which i600 years after the founding of Christianity. Do you know not the archeological evidences of Sphinx? Please save me your view
6. Look at your ignorance? Ram is a no go area for sacrifices in ancient Egypt but a must for Yoruba sacrifices. How do you relate these two culture that seeemingly look alike in the surface with each other but different on ritual? Ifa is ephod; lot cast. And not of any Egyptian origin.
7.oduddua-obatala,obawinrin etc isn't the bone of contention. Even a German professor once constructed the migration patterns of Yorubas in folds. So it is not the fundamental here.
8.Interestingly, the people you thought are aborigines of the land are also migrants. Well, show us the tradition of these people that existed at par with non yoruba. In actual fact, Ife didn't exist ,likewise Ooni didn't. You can context it. But the truth is there for all to see
9. Quran is fashioned in the like manner of Bible, which involves prayer. Many of these accounts that one need close relationship with Eluron(lord-God) are found in the Ifa corpus (verses found in Ifa).
10. Pedophiles are as evil as any other crimes committed by mankind. Reason being that God want humans to be sin free and be able to communicate at ease with him. Ooooh you don't wanna engage that dude. |

Nat404: You crack me up here. OP is fundamentally right, while you are wrong.
OP, change the headline to some unconventional grammatical blunders to avoid in English Language. How am I wrong? A simple Google search will prove op wrong. Often /ˈɒf(ə)n,ˈɒft(ə)n/ As for no 9, read this example, "we are looking for a leader that can take the country out of recession". Tell me the use of 'that' in that context is wrong. |
Education › Re: Some Grammatical Blunders To Avoid by Opiletool(m): 2:32pm On May 04, 2019 |
No 9 is wrong. 'That' can also be used for human. It is 'which' that only applies for things and animals.
No 11. 'often', there is nothing wrong pronouncing the word with the /t/ sound being audible. |

Celebrities › Re: Uche Maduagwu Blasts Helen Paul For Defending Regina Daniels Marriage by Opiletool(m): 11:15pm On Apr 29, 2019 |
franchasng: Leave Regina alone
It is better a young girl from a poor family marries a 50yrs old man who will take care of her, take care of her family and also gives her a secured future in this financially difficult time than for the young girl to be jumping around sleeping with broke guys forming young and handsome, who have only prick to offer.
The so called young and handsome guys u all want Regina to be dating or be with will still cheat on her and still they won't take care of her financial problems and won't also marry her at the end of the day.
Before u criticize Regina Daniels, pls first criticize:
1.) Aisha Buhari 2.) Sade Okoya 3.) Omotola Jalade 4.) Bianca Ojukwu 5.) Ooni of IFE's new wife 6.) Alaafin of Oyo's wives 7.) Iwuanyanwu's wives 8.) Lara Oshiomhole
And even US President Donald Trump's wife too, nonsense people Mumu. How old is Ooni and his wife? Besides, most of those men you mentioned were either divorcees or widowers, thereby making them single when they decided to remarry. |

Toks2008: What is this one talking about.
When I wrote I'm a living witness what we're you thinking?
I have had 3 teeth removed until garlic cured my never ending nightmare.
So please I'm not recommending garlic from wishful thoughts but I have first class experience.
You can Google it to confirm...it works like magic but removing a decayed tooth in the dental clinic is not certain you won't g back after sometime to remove another one cos the bacteria spreads fast and it's only a matter of time before you revisit the clinic....this was how I ended up removing 3 precious teeth.
But with garlic, it will not only cure the decaying tooth but totally aniliate the bacteria for good.
Abeg no try argue this matter with me. Same thing my mum told me when I was insistent on removing mine. |
