Thank you Bros. At least i see a sane person. All this comments and talk is rubbish as far as i am concerned. This noise should have been made when they ordered the cars. Now the cars were ordered paid for and what should the delivery person do? Go and pay demurrage or storage somewhere? We are full of talk and talk and nonsense talk. We need to talk about the fact that Buhari is not talking about Covid-19 and no one single Gov is challenging or criticizing him! Nothing is planned for Nigerians that go out and get their daily bread everyday living from hand to mouth, now they have to stay indoors what are the plans for them? And so many other things, but as stupid as we are, we want to raise dust about cars purchased months ago and delivered now. Nonsense, stupid and fake Nigerians, that is who we are!

Now, Govt is responsible for ensuring they inform all religious instititions, educational, cultural etc heads and they are supposed to say they have received the information and that they understand it, then violators will be jailed for at least one year. Trust me no one will try that nonsense. Watch the same thing happened in Oyedepos Church in Ogun State last sunday., They wrote a stupid explanation saying they had to bla-bla-bla and that theinformation is for Lagos not Ogun and they did not get the information prior. the major problem in nigeria is IMPUNITY mu broda.

The president was rumoured to be a clone, people believe that story even Sowole lost lots of followership including mine for meeting up with the idiotic Nnamdi Kanu. This right here shows this guy got there with propaganda and it has continued now he is axed and he is not even taking responsibility, just like everything Nigerian he is blaming imaginary hackers. How can we learn lessons and move forward when we cannot even accept responsibility?

We hear all these stories my chairman. I personally know A leading Pastors PA that just relocated to Dallas. He was in that role for 10 whole years. He has nothing to show for it. He told us stories of his salary and how much is deducted for tithe and pastors birthday and some other expenses. He has friends and colleagues that he is now supporting and some that wants to relocate as well. So, you can defend all you want, but i tell you this, if Oyedepo's convoy is passing and you don't get out of the road on time, i guarantee you will be flogged by security in his convoy, so what are you talking? Now, i, personally just sent N280K total, just TODAY, i repeat just today, to different folks to buy food at home before the lockdown. Pls what have you donated??

A man, (maybe Atheist) donated 94K, thousand US $. About 80$ on a credit card and the rest in cheque to a restaurant staff to help pay the staff in these trying times. He was anonymous. He did not call press conference. Also, i guarantee you, there are Church workers and volunteers in that same Church that cannot afford comfortable 3 square meals a day.

How will they pay for parking the pastors jet? etc. Also, if the worshippers knows that money can stay in their pockets and not go to Church yet they are not dead, they might stop paying tithe all together and that will be the end of all these churches and hopefully real christianity will return.

Two things; either the aged woman was positive and Enugu health workers are not equipped and do not have the appropriate test kits for the virus or that change of environment illness killed her.

From the narrative, it is obvious that Enugu isn't equipped to take on coronavirus at the moment because I see no reason why the test would take three days when that of the world and Lagos' takes a day or hours.

Beyond negligence, it is wise to quarantine and isolate every one who came in contact with the deceased since the result could be false.

The so called isolation center looks like a community hospital. Other than Lagos, I sincerely doubt any other state in Nigeria can manage victims of the virus.

The State government will no doubt respond to save face and rescue itself fromthis embarrassment. Gburugburu is only interested in looking like an active governor. He is clueless as Buhari himself.

They have isolation centers in Ogun, Kaduna, Plateau and Bauchi State. That i know. You will be surprised that the Eastern States is lacking in so many things because the People blame Buhari and never the Governor. Whole markets will burn down and you will hear Igbos, blaming it on Hausa fulani tanker or Dangote trucks. Its just within the last month that Anambra bought firetrucks from the same Innoson that is producing those trucks and maybe paying taxes to the State Govt, and they dont have fire trucks or mandate shops to have fire extinguishers, but they will blame Buhari and pay for FFK to come down and abuse him very well.

There is no reason why kidnappers will stop kidnapping since they get paid ransom. The only way to stop kidnapping is to stipulate jail time for anyone paying kidnappers as well as Federal Govt adopting the lagos state death penalty for kidnappers. If they know they will not get money, they will stop kidnapping. However, they need to beef up the police with enough equipment and intelligence to rescue kidnapped victims quickly.

No one's saying you must agree to his ideas or bless him for them.... but don't curse him! don't invite curses to your lives.

All this is coming from decades of lies, fakeness, worship and donation, fake miracles etc. Nigeria is full of Churches almost everywhere yet, there is wickedness, hate, hurt, pain, robbery etc in the land. They are building Churches and churches and owning private jets and calling it blessings from God, yet doing all that to their own personal Glory. Why do you think Churches are striving in Nigeria today? cos of hunger and break down of law and order and the churches are a huge part of it. Did Adegboye ever come out and speak the truth to power? No, even when over 200 girls were kidnapped, did he speak the truth to power, No. With all the power and anointing they claim, did he try to do anything about all these? No, right, so everyone is seeing the lies in your so called men of God. Hopefully we will do away with all the men of God, Imams, etc and we will all want justice and right of everyone irrespective of faith, religion, tribe, etc and the mega Churches and Mosques will die a natural death and we will deal with each other with truth and justice for all.

Now, you talk about governor paying the oba. You must understand that the palace gets budgetary allocations every year and once a budget is passed, it becomes law to be obeyed.

Let's even assumes the governor stops allocation to the palace, I can tell you the oba can survive and run the palace expenses without breaking a sweat.

You said state governors can do what ever they like. You are right to some extent, but I can tell you that for the Edo state governor to dethrone the oba, it means, the law will have to be reviewed by the state house of Assembly, and I can tell you that will be a tall order.

You gave example of Kano. Kano is not Benin. They select their Emir from a list of candidates from the ruling houses. Benin doesn't operate that system. Like I told you b4, the next oba of Benin is the first son of the current oba. The oba of Benin is by birth. No governor can change that. It is not based on the whims and caprices of a sitting governor. The oba of Benin is the only first class king that is crowned this way (by birth), I stand to be corrected though.

So, leave what happened in Kano and what happens else where. I am from Edo State, though not Bini by tribe. I am Esan (Ishan). Binis don't play with their Oba.

Oga, the point of argument is if the oba of Benin can be dethroned by a State governor, not a military administrator. Stop confusing yourself. Or you don't know the difference between a state governor and a military administrator? We all know anything can happen in a military administration because they suspend the Constitution and rule by decree.

Secondly, you are not informed. Federal laws has nothing to do with running of traditional institutions in this country. The Constitution of Nigerian vests the regulation of traditional institutions on the state and each state of the federation has it's own laws for regulating the traditional institutions in their respective States. Federal laws or the president has nothing to do with it. If it was by federal laws, GEJ would Have appointed an Emir for Kano, and it wouldn't be Sanusi.

Now, I am telling you that the law passed by the Edo state of house of Assembly years back on the traditional institutions in the state does not give the state governor power to dethrone the oba of benin.

Thirldy, you are contradicting yourself. Why will an institution regulated by federal laws be under the oredo LG and under the Edo state govt?

Be informed that the palace of the Oba of Benin Is located in Oredo LGA. It's doesn't mean the office of the Oba of Benin is under oredo LGA. Secondly, traditional matters are regulated by a ministry in Edo state (Ministry of Local govt and chieftaincy affairs). It doesn't mean the state governor can dethrone the oba of Benin

In your first paragraph, i made analogy of what obtains in Nigeria and by extension Edo State. Before now, who are you to even reply an Oba or Emir? They wielded power and authority and Men in Uniform as well. Now Yes its about Oba of Benin, the Laws of the federal Republic and by extension the constitution places the administrations of these offices within the States and local govts. I am not contradicting myself. We are basically saying the same thing. Now, you'd said in Edo State the House passed a law that prohibits the Gov from removing the Oba? Hmm, Well, i am not from Edo State and i don't know about the laws of the State so i cannot argue with you on that however, i know if there is a law like that, it will be only a caveat that says the Gov will require a vote from the House. State Govs in Nigeria has autonomous power in their states. In Kano, Ganduje first of all got the House to vote to dethrone him before going ahead to do it. Trust me, any State Gov will find a way to do what he wants to do. Like i said, and you are getting it confused. In Nigeria, when youre in power, you have a lot of power to do a lot just like the Kings, Obas, and emirs back in the day. Now, its the Governors, People in power. So, bottom line, if you are an Oba, Emir, Tor, Etsu, Shehu etc, get along with your Governor cos he is the one paying your salary and funding your lifestyle. Chairman pls stop arguing things you absolutely know nothing about. This is federal laws and practice. The office of the Oba is under Oredo local govt and under Edo State Govt. Its not about boasting and talking gibberish. The world has changed. Army Generals and top military men are ambushed and killed who is Oba? He is an individual, if youre relying on your medicine or voodoo take it and face bokoharam let me see? Nigerians will thank you for it. Back in the day, YES, the courts, leadership, instructions was from the office of the Oba, all that has changed. If Dasuki, that is not only Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate, but head of Muslims in Nigeria, can be dethroned by the Military administrator of Sokoto, any traditional ruler can be dethroned by the State Governor of that State. Dont argue, research it.

Even as Lucky igbinedion (when he was governor) and his father (the esama of benin kingdom) were having issues with the late oba of Benin, it never crossed his mind one day to dethrone the oba. It can never happen. If you know the history of the Benin Kingdom, and the spiritual powers that follow occupiers of that seat, you wouldn't be talking like this

As Benin is, they already know their next oba (the first son of the current oba) and no governor or king makers can alter it.

Bros, stop arguing this nonsense. All you are talking about is History. Sounds like Things fall Apart when Okonkwo was defending their Gods and customs. This is 2020, the Governor can order the removal and dethronement of the Oba, right now and nothing will happen. Lucky sued the Oba and he went to court even with the "Oba no dey go court" history. Its just because Lucky is not daring or crazy enough to want to ridicule the Oba. The only argument you will argue and i will agree with is "Obaseki" understands and respects the Benin tradition and has a lot of respect for the stool irrespective of who occupies it. Yes, that i will agree with and for that reason, things will be handled amicably, but don't ever say "It can never happen"., you should have said it under Abacha naa, dem go dethrone the Oba to Ijebu Ode in a heartbeat. Also, i hope that nonsense of burying people when the Oba dies is a myth or no longer in practice? Most especially with social media and the new world order, if they should try that one, your king makers will go to jail oh.

That is not true, Obaseki can remove the Oba if he so wishes. The Oba is under the Governor. The palaces do not have those powers anymore.

You are ibo, your dad rent one room to a Yoruba lady to sell food. Now the yoruba lady says she doesn't roll with Igbo people, and that igbo people can buy, but take their food and go and eat in their house but cannot eat inside the restaurant and this includes you and your brothers and sisters since you all are ibo!!!Now tell me cos you guys are not lazy you might as well go somewhere right? afterall she is paying rent!

You are only looking at the thing from one side of the coin you have to look at it from both sides of the coin. Does Chinese businesses which was shut down they employees some Nigerians now it hand to find job in Nigeria is very difficult and things are very difficult what happens to the Nigerians which the Chinese companies employ. Now the workers are unemployed their children cannot go to school they are families cannot eat and afford a living in this hard situation of the country before you take a action you need to think about the results of the situation. It is not all right that people are not invested in Nigeria and the little investors you are harassing them the net result is a unemployment skyrockets. When does workers which were working for the Chinese start doing kidnapping and armed robbery because they cannot feed their families then we'll come on nairaland with a big mouth complaining that security is a problem the way you make your bed so you lie on it

Bros, you should not have that mind set and go close to leadership. There is what we call dignity, love of Country, Self Pride, NATIONALITY etc that takes precedence over what you are saying. A chinese eatery in your country will sell takeaway for you but will not allow you sit and eat because youre black, Nigerian etc and youre talking about people working their losing their jobs huh

Go again and re-read what you wrote that i had in bold and tell me whose analogy is defying logic. Again, learn to respect and most importantly "understand" people's belief, practice and way of life. Its a delivery job, they deliver other things. Maybe you can find someone else to deliver alcohol and not the those that explicitly say it's against their faith. We can be so myopic and un accommodating at times and this is due to our own bias and selfishness or Nigerian over-sabi. If you tell an average oyinbo man this, they will apologise and look for alternative ways of delivering the goods, but an average Nigerian will impose his faith or his profit on the folks delivering and make it compulsory or fire them. You are one of them sir.
