Sheriman:She is fine. She is God’s creation! |
AstroG:Most guys that talk like you are actually Broloshos as well. It takes an ashawo broda to recognize an ashawo sister. In conclusion, bros, you, AstroG dey follow only ashawo. |
rtdCivilservant:What she is saying is, Garbage in, Garbage out. A guy that says a woman has nothing to offer but sex, means all the guy has to offer is sex. |
laughitall:Is your brain paining you? Just re-read the first part of the post.... A former World Heavyweight Champion........ World, Heavy weight, Champion.... and in your comment you had stupid and lazy ![]() |
Chuks9000:You're wrong boss. That is what is in your head. We copy Kim's world these days because it is all about materialism, wealth, popularity even in the houses of worship. I am even thinking of how to get a Lawyer that will defend the lady and sue the school. She will win that case easily. Also, the school will be the one that will be looked at as bad, archaic, brutal, harsh. Also, this is a wake up call for you and all of us. We need to reevaluate our thinking and focus more on how to be more forgiving, accommodating and understanding than being harsh, punitive, brutal etc that our societies were known for. This school did the same thing our ancestors did back in the day, if someone has a swollen stomach, they are taken to the evil forest to die, if someone commits some offences, they are ostracised and banned from the village. Nonsense, brutal and archaic. Now, people are so fragile now that we have to think about how you treat people and how you correct wrongs by looking at all the parties involved instead of focusing primarily on the sin part and not thinking about empathy, growth, overall wellbeing of the offender. Think about this, if that lady (God forbid) commits suicide, or ties a bomb on herself and goes to the school and blows people up, what will you, the governing council and the mumus that focused on the schools image and nothing else, SAY Or do you know how she is feeling now or what is going on in her head about how the school, society, the media all are treating her? I am not justifying what she did, however, we should know our society has evolved and our crude brutal ways of what will people say, what will people think, etc needs to be done away with and we focus more on way forward for all parties concerned. |
osazsky:Chairman, did she have the sex on behalf of the school? was she representing the school when she had the sex? This is just a Lola, or Ngozi or Halima having sex and she happens to be a student of Babcock and the media used the babcock identity. The school should correct the media that she does not represent them, and list their ideals and what they stand for etc. I swear, i am tempted to step into this case and get Justice for this girl. I am still thinking about it. |
LadyGCrueDKilaB:You're comparing the CEO of an org to a regular student of a school.......... whats it called again, alumo, kparaga, ganjaa, panadol extra is working bro!!! |
MamaFryo:You did not summarize for the lazy youth and you started commenting? Whats wrong with you? |
adarayz:Nonsense and selfish way of thinking. Why is the school not coming out and correcting the media that she did whatever on holidays and not as a rep of the school then state what the school stand for! I will withdraw my kid from that school for rusticating the girl |
MrBrownJay1:Bros, where do you live in Nigeria cos you seem not to be abreast with how jungle justice is the main cause of extrajudicial killings. Now, the mother was not there when this happened right? Now, what do you expect the mother to do if a woman says her son tried to rape her and maybe assaulted her in some way by groping her, whatever, and the story is all over the village? the only logical thing for the mother to do is apologise even if the son denies it. Now, If, God Forbid my brother is accused of attempting to rape someone, ofcourse he is in big trouble even within the family, however if the village youth now go ahead and kill him, trust me, the only thing that will give me peace is killing all those village youths and their master minds as well even if it means recruiting mercenaries to do it. That, my friend is how these things starts and grows to instances where children, pregnant women all are killed in reprisal attacks. What you are saying will lead to more bloodshed. You don't ever take the laws into your hands. Just imagine the gruesomeness and manner those youths will take to kill someone, also do you think those youths will be the same after that? they have his blood on their hands, and the woman will be looked at as responsible for the man's death, those youth too, their lives cannot be the same again. I promise you, this will lead to more bloodbath, that is what most people don't understand, no one has monopoly to violence, and everyone has his own craze, you start it, ok, you dont know how it will end or what power the other person has or will seek to get back at you. Take USA for example, Trump with all his mouth when under Obama US ship crossed into Iranian waters they say "by mistake" and Iran captured the sailors and they kneel down and Iran took pictures to beat their chest and make political statement, Trump and some Republicans yabbed Obama saying he has weakened America etc, now under Trump, US flew a drone over Iran and Iran shut it down, Trump said they made a bad mistake, Iran said it was no mistake and that that is a red line for them and warned that if US flys anything over their space they are shooting it down, period. What happened, silence till tomorrow, Why, cos you cannot be smarter than someone planning for you, period. US with all its power and all, they are vulnerable cos they have people planning for them. About Naija, we are saying the same thing, however, what ure saying cannot work here, we are not united. |
pocohantas:So all this epistle and patrick obahiagbon's crinkum crankum that i wrote it's only three letters.... not words letters reply i will get. Chai!!! |
pocohantas:You are not recognizing the boundaries of where one starts and the other ends and youre hung up on "image" Well i am a manager of IT Compliance and in preparing and acting for the next level, ie "Director" part of the things i was made aware of is the fact that as a Director, the company can get sued for the things that i do personally cos in that role/position, i will represent a decision maker for the Company. However, now, as a Manager, the company can not get sued for what i do personally. So differentiate between all of these, you, as an individual is a sum of so many things. If youre a student of an Institution, affiliated with any organization, working as a staff of a Company, a bank customer, or the family name you bear, or even wearing a red cap in Igboland, there are norms, expected behavioural patterns you should adhere to, however, if you don't, you are Just not in Compliance with expected behaviour, if youre not an administrative staff, governing body, then how can anyone accuse you for personal decisions you took? Yes, anyone, everyone will attribute the bigger image/name to you and identify you with whatever will sell the story or make a louder sound however if you are not breaking any of the clearly stated laws, rules and regulations, then no one can ostracise you from what you belong to or what you are for the PERSONAL CHOICES YOU MAKE that is not breaking the rules and regulations of whatever you represent. Again, if Babcock did what they did in a western country, they will go down so fast you will wonder. Look at it from a legal angle and most importantly the big picture. |
MrBrownJay1:Haba bros what are you talking about? See here, how many times has our mothers apologized for something we did not do just because they want Peace to reign? One idiotic good for nothing cousin lied on me and my mum apologized to him saying she doesn't want us to quarrel. I felt pained, so, so pained because the idiotic motherfucker was just a lying, manipulating devil. The youth of the village can lynch that man and maybe flog him 12 lashes openly. Its a form of disgrace and i guarantee you he wont do that again cos he will be shamed in the village most especially if he attempted. However, if he did rape the lady, then that needs to be established, not maybe or well, cos the mother apologized so... No, the victim has to say what happened and this will be corroborated with evidence then yes he needs maybe 10 to 15 years jail time or life even i don't care, however it should be substantiated. Then to the bigger Naija picture, my broda democracy is not working for us. I am tired. IBB that annulled election is still commenting in our politics, GEJ that led a govt of corruption is a hero cos he did the needful, under GMB mega corruption is ongoing and he is quiet about it, what else do we want? We are divided along tribal, religious and ethnic lines and they will always use that to keep us where we are. |
pocohantas:You are talking from the "Religiosity" of Nigerians. We see the sin of it and not the person or how we can shape society better. The first thing to do here is to throw the lady under the bus. This is NOT Reputational risk. Reputational risk is the risk of not conforming with the reputation your business model is built upon. If you are a bank and involved in shady practices then you are not doing business to the dictates of your reputation of a bank built on trust. Now, yes ofcourse people will call Babcock, because it will make the story bigger than it is rather than two random univ students having sex. The lady should sue the school. This is just plainly wrong. In saner climes this will not happen. |
MrBrownJay1:Bros, you are still not getting the point. You have to establish he is a CRIMINAL. We are talking of death here and you are basing it all on the fact that the mother said she will pay medical bills or cos she apologised. I just gave you an example of a situation where they found out the person a 13 year old was calling his mum is not his mum, they burned him alive. You can use emotions and all but understand this is why Nigeria is the way it is. The youth cannot take the laws into their hands and take a mans life. We have not heard the end of this, watch you will hear one day, it might be 3,4,5,8, years from now, you will hear that maybe this man's brother or son whatever killed one of those youths. |
Jordan97:Nonsense and typical Nigerian Talk. You ended by saying you dont blame the boy, girl or school, however talking about confession, just a typical selfish Nigerian pestering religion and not adding any value or fighting for justice in the first place. Now listen Mr selfish Nigerian preacher, this is how you look at this. What they did was wrong. The guy was rusticated in February for substance possession, abuse etc, now the girl in 300 level is now been rusticated for something that happened outside the school on holidays because the school wants to show they are a good christian school etc. Now how would you feel if you hear the girl committed suicide? Imagine her mental state now and maybe she is between 18 and 22, yet the University expelled her. You should want Justice for the society, they both should be punished so others will learn, justice for them - You, the school others need to first of all find out why she did this, what made her do it, when did all this start and what can help her to retrace her steps, focus on her school still and give her all the help and assistance that they both need to get their punishment, understand how wrong and bad what they did was and hopefully help them become better people, that should be your fight and you take that to the school that has cheated the girl with expulsion. |
MrBrownJay1:Are you aware of the ALU4 that was killed in PH? Are you aware of a 13 year old boy that was accused of trying to sell a 7 year old boy in front of National Stadium lagos, and theyd asked him where his house was or who is parents were, he had called a woman that frys akara at the bus stop who gives him akara as his mother, when they got to the womans place with the crowd, she'd said she is not the mother and that was all the mob needed. This 13 year old boy was burnt alive. A court would've sentenced him to jail time. If that mans family member now go on a reprisal and start killing the youths that is when you will know how bokoharam became uncontrollable and will attack whole barracks and slaughter people at will cos of injustices like this. |
MrBrownJay1:You need to Grow up. Firstly she alleged, it was not proven and "HE WAS KILLED" Secondly, the article said Attempted, the mother said He did not commit the crime. The title even says "Trying to..." however, you in your little head says he is guilty. Now, killed means he is not coming back from it. Think about this for a minute, Busola accused Fatoyinbo of RAPING, not attempted or trying to, but of raping her, how would you feel if you hear youths killed him? |
MrBrownJay1:My point is, you need help with English comprehension and if you have to justify killing a man, you should not be using your biased and misguided mindset!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
MrBrownJay1:We are talking of "killed", the man was killed, yes attempted rape is bad and wrong, however we are talking about capital punishment meted on him by the youth. Now go again and re-read the whole narrative again and you will see 2 things are your problem. 1. English, 2. You, telling yourself the story in your head. |
@Chmsky1967 et al, the question we all should be asking is what happened to the person that poured acid on her. Did she get Justice? Is the person still walking around free? That is the question we all should be asking and ensuring Justice was done. |
cococandy:@Cococandy, it is called "PRIVATE PART" because it is private to you. Anyone that wants to see it or needs access to it needs your permission and agreement. If you see it by virtue of the work you do, then, you have signed and accepted to act in a reasonable and confidential manner so, you even boasting about it is a general betrayal of the trust based on the profession you signed up for. |
This guy gave the this man "Problem" not a car. People that have this gas guzzling problematic car here are junking it and this man is dashing this man this car that even looks beat, problematic and even the grill metals are falling off already. |
HolySanctus:If you do this to my sister, daughter or girlfriend and i look for boko haram or egbesu or OPC or any cult group to chop off your hands from the ankle and then leave you in peace, then you will know what normal fight can lead to. |
AudioMonkey:You don't have to lie to prove your point. Where is the attempted gang rape? |
hisexcellency34:Can you imagine your myopic outlook? Your hate and discriminatory talks is second to none, keep hating at the end, its yourselves that you hurt the most. |
Id97:Well, i dont know the specifics, however its good to still go ahead and fight for justice. It will be on record that you did. |
midnighter:What are you saying? I read all you wrote and responded accordingly. I called you out on your bias as well, cos YES we all have our biases but this one is so deep and you hear Igbos calling the Yoruba lady names and all forms of slurs and insults and you, too now came up and called a bias statement "balanced" That is just like Trump's there are good people on both sides when white supremacist campaigned in Philly some years back. |
