Ah sweet Jerusalem. The birthplace of the three Abrahamic Religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

You will find Synagogues, Churches and Mosques in Jerusalem. What divides them are their own perceptions though they all claim to worship the One true God.

Mecca had existed before Abraham and though most of the previous prophets came from Isaac, the last prophet came from Ishmael.


In all the books Abraham was loved by God as he looked for God and Worshipped the One true God. He never used to worship idols and because of this he left his hometown and moved to Jerusalem. He had Ishmael and Isaac. he later moved Ishmael to Mecca on God's instructions.

I always like to say that Islam went to Jerusalem to claim from its father's (Abraham's) property. . Na only you go get your house for city but na all of you go own papa house for village.
