Kai! I was checking Oanda like 10 times per day. Instead of rising, the rate in Naira even decreased during the 28 days.

After 3 years of Canada waka, on 445 till the crs go up and refuse to go down lol. Ielts sef will expire next month. I don learn French sef, na to write Tef remain.
Several master applications to 4 universities in Canada ( and dey chop my application fee lol) no admission. Finally as the last school said No in April, my eye clear lol, I decided to face UK.
And UK don land.

Some personal observations wt the application.
The TLS contact app tracking app was not functional throughout.
The applications were better tracked via online. The online track status may be the most quickly updated for now. Online
"Application transferred to VAC" first observed around 11:30
"Application received by VAC" first observed around 14:42

Via email:
Application assessed and document ready for collection came in quick succession around 14:40.

Summary, it is better to track online than via email.

I am a January intake that was denied visa in February because my sponsor did not reply to the confirmation email sent to them( God factor). The God factor set in because I thought I can not be denied because I am a state sponsored student but God showed me his existence. Someone from the chief of staff office saw the email from the embassy but decided to look away because she thought the letter is not genuine.

The school decided to issue me a new CAS after a new letter of introduction was issued by the said state government. In all I give God the glory.

Good evening my great people please a friend called me a while ago; he processed his admission himself and has gotten his CAS, the school sent him a mail that he should liaise with their Nigeria representative for his visa application form to make sure everything go smoothly, the country rep called him that he should give them his login details on the ukvi site to check his form (he has filled the form but yet to submit). He is kinda skeptical about giving out this detail...what do you advice?

I filled mine once and I have gotten my CAS, maybe your answers were not detailed enough...for instance the question 3 you can talk about the location of the school, the quality of academics in the school, accreditation of the course, awards/ranking, low tuition, link with industries...etc

The first time they returned it, they said I should fill it more in-depth which I did and sent it back.

They responded with specific questions that I should answer again

Question 3: Why did you choose to study in the University of Chester?
Question 4: Why did you choose your course and how is it related to your previous study?
Question 9: What do you know about the University of Chester?
Question 10: What do you know about the city where your studies are conducted?

I have filled this form twice and they are still not satisfied. I wish I can get insight from someone who has filled this form successfully.

In Nigeria,you can get death certificate from NPC but they usually prefer a certificate from the hospital. Any government hospital will give you that especially if you have her obituary announcement poster.

No it will give them false hope and a refusal. £=naira is the formula, You will have more money in your account by doing it the wrong way and it will likely lead to a refusal.

The speed of response to an application does not determine the quality or otherwise of a school, 2 years ago I submitted an application to the best school in Ireland for an MSc, I got an unconditional offer that same day, most times it depends on the quality of your application and the documents submitted by you, for UK I have gotten offers in less than 3 days in top tier universities

Some areas have cheap accommodation and Unis, but 3-6months you may not get student jobs. And rent dey there.
