TheRareGem1: I'm sure you are not even aware the PRESIDENT has spoken...what the VP is doing is to reiterate the commitment of his boss, Mr. P to ensuring the safety of lives and property of Nigerians is achievable.
**Adds: Our hearts go to families, loved ones of those killed
The Buhari administration will not relent but will do all it takes, including putting news ideas on the table in order to secure the country according to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.
The Vice President is on a one-day official visit to Nasarawa State today and was accosted by reporters on his arrival in Lafia after he was received by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule.
Below is the verbatim report of the Vice President's response to the media:
As the President said, these group of people have acted insanely in such a dastardly manner, killing innocent people, people who had gone to their farms to work.
I spoke to the Governor, Governor Babagana Zulum and the former Governor, Senator Kashim Shettima to express my condolence, but more importantly, to try and think through ways of dealing with this kind of random attacks.
It’s important to understand also that we will probably need to keep reviewing the conventional means of dealing with some of these issues, these security challenges, especially the randomness.
Which is why the President has said that he is taking a serious look at how to deal with the issues, especially the randomness: some insane person goes into a place and shoots people, that is not the sort of thing that you are prepared for conventionally.
We have to do a lot more local intelligence and some of the community policing efforts we are planning on, so that information is supplied faster, especially at the local level and then a reaction will then be possible.
It is a major tragedy; it’s a very unfortunate thing and our hearts are with the family of those who were killed in such a terrible manner.
We are very confident and the Federal Government will continue to do what it needs to do especially in terms of trying to ensure security in the Northeast and all over Nigeria.
You’ve heard the President and what he has to say, especially some of the new ideas around security and the security architecture which we are trying to put in place. We will get there.

This government has failed in virtually every thing. Biko haram now kill with federal pardon in their minds, with reintegration and scholarships to study abroad in view. In economy two recessions in 5years The place I use to pay 2,200 naira as transportation fare before this government came into power, sadly I paid 6,700 yesterday. Everything they met have been destroyed. Even biscuit use to be 5 naira with five pieces inside it but today it three pieces inside at 10 naira.... The list goes on....

I sorry for this payed mob. Which road project are they talking about? I actually traveled through that road today and I almost threw up because of pot holes. Bad road is the quickest way to know that you have reach the East when travelling.
Always dodging responsibility when it matters the most. Can you imagine what NBC will say when those blood sucking demons start killing for black Friday....
ufotty2001: Hello Friends! Have come to realized that girls above 30yrs are so Matured in relationship, well behaved and organized infact they make relationship workout for better of both of you.. they always look good and ready to follow up with you despite your flaws etc ..
What's do you really think..? Do you guys have similar experience
Among other reasons advanced by others, one more reason is at 30 and above they have almost seen it all. The immaturity of a little girl curious about life and at the same time behaving like she knows it all has disappeared. At that age experience has taught her the better values of life. That is why when I wanted to marry, I went for my age mate. By the grace of God, it has speared me a lot of nonsenses and headaches
drinoayo: Ban On 'Black Friday' By Kano Hisbah Is A Disgrace — Aisha Yesufu
Co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) campaign Aisha Yesufu has knocked Kano State Hisbah Board over its letter written to a radio station in the state 96.9 Cool FM, directing it not to use the term ‘Black Friday’ anymore, Igbere TV reports.

Jones4190: APC = PDP, Prove ? ANSWER Since we know they are both parties, The 2nd "P" in PDP is a constant and so may not be included in the equation. OR we may as well say APC"P" = PD"P" "P" = Party Divide both sides of the equation by the constant "P". Resulting in APC = PD This means that if A+P+C = x, Also P+D must be equal to x Meaning A+P+C = P+D Using the alphabet A -Z numbers, whereby A = 1 and Z=26 Substituting letters with their corresponding numbers. A,P,C = 1,16,3 P,D= 16,4 A+P+C = 1+16+3 = 20 P+D= 16+4 = 20 Therefore APC = PDP

chronology: "Love is like a rock, easy to come by,hard to crack" Love binds two souls together, today I came across a picture of a beautiful couple on social media, the picture was a wedding photo of two young couples alongside the picture they took together while in secondary school.
The picture drew a lot of attention from media users,as they could not help but congratulate the couple. But amidst all congratulatory messages, I drew a very important moral lesson from that picture, the lesson is not far from the test of time in relationships. Yes,gold and silver are tested in fire to make them look as attractive as they look,so too a good relationship should stand the test of time.
The couple above kept faithful to each other right from their secondary school days up to the moment they got married, but the question in today's relationships is can they stand the test of time? Can they still keep faithful and wait?
But anyways, the best thing to do is to always put our future spouses in prayers, that God in His infinite mercy would grant them the ability to wait for us as well as grant us that same grace to able to wait for ours, this is because, very few people are lucky to find their better halves early in life, and the above couple are a wonderful example.
Congratulations to them. Please check my signature!

jaybenugo: Charly Boy Apologizes To His Daughter For Maltreating Her Because She Is Lesbian
Charley Boy, aka Area Fada, has written an open letter to apologize to his daughter for the way he treated her after she came out as a lesbian, IgbereTV reports.
Charly Boy had shared a post last week, saying he's proud to have a lesbian daughter and he supports her completely. But his daughter, Dewy Oputa hit back, stating that her father doesn't pick her calls and she was rendered homeless after she publicized her sexuality. She accused her dad of using her to chase clout as father of the year online, while caring nothing about her in real life.
Charly Boy has now responded. He said he was amused by his daughter's public condemnation because it's the same way he and his father - former Supreme Court justice Chukwudifu Oputa - butted heads before he was able to be independent.
"Lion no fit born goat, " he added.
He asked Dewy to forgive him and promised to allow her tell her story and to respect her perspectives.

IamD18: Bride price is bride price regardless of how much you spent. The fact remains that you paid something.
You people should allow Igbos with their traditions. Face yours.
You don't expect Igbos to behave like a particular tribe that accepts 2 cups of red oil and Cameroon pepper of 230 Naira as bride price.
You don't expect Igbos to behave like some tribes where the man will have to take 100+ strokes of cane as bride price.
There are levels to qualities and standard in everything. Igbo women are standard, that's why people leave their tribes where you can marry with just pepper and oil, come down to Igbo land to spend more than half of a million for bride price.
