I remember during my NYSC, one of the female corper in my lodge gave me her phone to help her send movies via my laptop, I took the phone into my room and starting sending, then went to her gallery to confirm if the sent ones was actually there, and lo and behold I saw lots and lots of her nude pics and even short nude videos of herself opening her legs and displaying her boobs.

I used to see her as someone who's decent but that incident changed by perception towards her. What if it was a pervert who she gave her phone to, he'll happily transfer them to his phone and start uploading them online.

A 27-year-old businessman, Emmanuel Chukwuma Igwe, has been accused of brutalizing his baby mama, Porcia Achonu, and cutting her with a cutlass, in Owerri, Imo State.

I have been involved in quite a number of discussions and debates of this nature where some believe that the only way to bring up children is by beating them. Others believe the opposite is true. I was brought up by parents who considered heavy handedness as a parental virtue and they never spared the rod in dealing with us... I have noticed the same pattern in our educational setting where teachers prefer to communicate their emotion via the cane.
I personally think most of such beating comes from parents' and teachers' inability to rein in their temper, rather than the genuine interest in the child's well being.

I have my little children, and it is not difficult to talk things over with them, and even set up disciplinary measures that don't involve beating.

Looking back over your shoulders, would you say the kind of beating-filled/beating-devoid upbringing you received has affected your relationship with your parents? And would you accept teachers to beat your children anyhow?

What I Saw In Church Today.

As we all know, Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) was declared a terrorist group by the Nigeria government, and recently, the Rivers state government went further to ban all the activities of the said group, Making it illegal for anyone to identify his/herself with IPOB in Rivers state.

While in Church today, I saw a chair donated by IPOB to a church in Rivers state.

I wanted to discuss this with the Priest. Hoping to make him see reasons why this chairs should be removed from the church premises or to wipe off the write up on the chair.

What's your take on this?

A girl that I was dating, took her to my parents and even met her people chatted with her ex who ditched her and married another girl. The other girl died and this ex wants her back.
