abduleez1: ![]() Okay, I need to explain... My point is that you trolled the other person, and I trolled you in return, exposing your pettiness. ![]() |
Locotrader:I noticed you purchased Multiverse at approximately 3.29. At what price did you acquire the subsequent batch? Assuming you made the initial purchase on November 16th, the stock closed at 3.3 on that day. Over the following four days, the total trading amount reached a mere 10 million naira, with an average daily total of 2.5 million naira despite the daily 10%. Unless you were the sole buyer, I doubt you could have added more than 2 million naira to your portfolio. Do you recognize the potential issue? What if negative news emerges about the company? As I mentioned earlier, there is a lack of liquidity. There's no need to discuss Multiverse until we witness a surge in trading volume. No vex o, na my observations o. ![]() |
abduleez1: ![]() Aren't you the one who posted screenshots? You literally had to dig through the archives to find them to prove you were 'first' to talk about it. ROFLMAO! |
abduleez1: ![]() Did you learn about the show through clairvoyance? Isn't it the same online outlets that we all use to find out about shows? So, someone shouldn't comment in peace again because you are the "first" to know about it. ROFLMAO! |
Baddestguyp:But you never mentioned that you knew as well. Lol |
femu:Onye obi onubu. Very bad of you! ![]() |
Locotrader:What is my pattern of trading if I may ask? |
. |
Locotrader:I love liquidity more than anything. In my opinion, the true test of stock picking mastery is when you make predictions for stocks that are very liquid. Let me give you an example. Even if you had 100 million naira, you would have still made good money with DS, UBA, GTCO, etc., and you could have easily withdrawn your money. ![]() |
Locotrader:It is currently unavailable and has not been available for at least the past 40 days. The highest trading total in the last 40 days was 3.1 million naira, and it only exceeded 2 million naira on 8 out of 40 days. On most days, the trading total was less than 400,000 naira. The only months with trading totals exceeding 50 million naira were August, September, October, and November of 2022 since 2020 to date. Therefore, the stock is currently illiquid, and there is a high risk of getting trapped for months. It may have potential, but there is simply not enough supply to meet demand. Let's assume John and his friends have 50 million naira that they want to invest in this stock. It would likely take months or more to fully invest this amount, and the stock price would likely double or tripled by the end of that period. This again indicates that the stock is illiquid, and I would not recommend investing in it except for gamble. As more people try to invest in this stock, the price will continue to rise, even if only in increments of 1 million naira. By the time the price has reached a desirable level, Loco will have already exited, leaving you holding the bag. Don't be fooled by the hype surrounding this stock. ![]() |
Locotrader:Dat ur multiverse, u go tell them make them bring out. Eh no dey nah. ![]() |
emmanuelewumi:I am merely speculating o. Based on the assumption that their annual revenue of 2.6 billion has remained relatively stable, the brothers cashed out approximately 3 million USD annually. But, due to the currency devaluation, this amount has decreased to less than 2 million USD. Given the uncertain direction of our economy, I like them would also like to diversify my investments. One approach would be to issue new shares, dilute my holdings, and hope that the fresh funds will aid in the company's expansion. Alternatively, the brothers could inflate the stock price and sell a small portion of their holdings to the public. Selling 15% of the company's shares (from their 96%) at 50 naira would generate no less than 20 million USD while maintaining their controlling interest. |
phadriz:Considering that the family holds over 96% of the company's shares, what could be the motivation behind listing the company that has been operating successfully since 2005? What is the underlying strategy? I hope it is not a covert tactic to partially withdraw from Nigeria at the expense of the public. For instance, the stock price could be pumped up, followed by a gradual sell-off of shares. |

mikeapollo:While raising awareness, also communicate to the "new people joining every day", that the delisting at 7.07 is still under court consideration, and buying above 7 may be a significant gamble. |
mikeapollo:Sorry Sir, I am in no way obstructing your awareness campaign. |
yMcy56:Why are we repeating the same story every day? Is it merely to fill up the pages? Oando is currently undervalued compared to its potential. The question is whether the delisting will occur at 7.07 or at another price. If not otilo, a price above 30 is very possible in the coming weeks sef. |
Locotrader:Na joke o. ![]() |
Locotrader:It's amusing how you address people as 'Boy' due to your "Chicken change". It seems that your 30 million has gone to your head. ![]() |
BullBearMkt:Congratulations, @BullBearMkt! I observe activity between 9.45 and 12.00 based on my 2020 data, a decline below 12.00 is still possible due to supply availability, preventing a likely significant upward movement. However, strong fundamentals could support further gains. My target was a 20% increase, and it surpassed 100%, which is very good. ![]() |
I am gathering some facts about Oando PLC. Can you help me correct any errors? ![]() Fact 1: Oando PLC was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 31, 2002, at an initial public offering (IPO) price of N10.50 per share. Fact 2: The company's stock price has since fluctuated significantly, reaching a high of N168.50 per share in 2007. Fact 3: Ocean and Oil Development Partners Limited (OODP), a core shareholder of Oando PLC, is seeking to delist Oando from the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX) and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). OODP has made an offer to acquire the shares of all minority shareholders of Oando at a price of N7.07 per share. The offer is subject to approval by the shareholders of Oando and the sanction of the Federal High Court. Fact 4: In 2002, Ocean and Oil led Unipetrol's bid for 60% of Agip Nigeria Plc. The merged company was rebranded as Oando Plc in 2003, the second largest downstream petroleum marketing company in Nigeria. In 2007, Ocean and Oil Holdings swapped its shares in Oando Energy Services Limited, Oando Production Development Company Limited, Oando Supply and Trading and Oando Trading to Oando Plc shares. This brought Ocean & Oil Holdings' total stake in Oando plc to 35%. Fact 5: Ocean and Oil Development Partners Limited (OODP) owns 57.37% of Oando PLC's shares. This makes OODP the largest shareholder of Oando PLC. Fact 6: Wale Tinubu, the CEO of Oando PLC, is a major shareholder in OODP. He reportedly owns a 66.7% stake in the company. ![]() |

OhBritannia:Most homeless people in the United States are homeless because they made poor choices, either themselves or their parents. If foreigners can go there and succeed in large numbers, what stops Americans from living decent lives? It is not the same in most poor countries, where the system has failed them. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:I used to do T-bills, but I haven't done so in a while. In 2017, the rate was over 18%, and it is possible that we may reach that rate again next year. In 2018, the rate fell sharply to 12%. I also remember that they used to pay interest (or what ever it is they call it) about three days after purchase. ![]()

Niyijac:Are the data points monthly? The chart is unusual in that the trough-to-peak range remained constant for the entire duration of the chart. However, it could still be traded, as it appears to be bound in a channel from 56 to 68, which is only a 21% move over more than three years. ![]() |
delvzy:I wouldn't say that's synonymous with gaining or losing 10%. Hypothetically, a stock can still be traded at its extreme prices for that day without going into full bid or full offer. ![]() "Full bid and full offer are terms used in stock trading to describe the situation where there are more buyers or sellers, respectively, at a particular price than there are sellers or buyers, respectively, at that price. A full bid occurs when there are more buyers willing to purchase a stock at a particular price than there are sellers willing to sell the stock at that price. This means that there is a strong demand for the stock at that price, and it is likely that the stock will trade at that price or higher. A full offer occurs when there are more sellers willing to sell a stock at a particular price than there are buyers willing to purchase the stock at that price. This means that there is a strong supply of the stock at that price, and it is likely that the stock will trade at that price or lower." Copied... |
Zagee:It is possible that the bond market may see 18% interest again. If that happens (or if I see it coming), I am bailing out. Hypothetically, if your bond can give you close to 1 million monthly from the same investments you have in stocks, which give a marginal fraction of that, some people will choose bonds for the time being. My point is that an 18% coupon would be disastrous for most stocks. |
delvzy:Low-key All of them don dey notice I'm not joking All my guys dem, dem know me Since '20 I've been writin' this story I no be OG But, if you ask dem, dem know me I no dey blow trees Orin lo nyi mi l'ori (l'o-o-ri) This thing chose me Just know this and know peace I dey lowkey But, I'm never lonely Sexy ladies Come whine fi me slowly Bandana by Fireboy, this song they give me mind, fireworks everywhere in my head. ![]() Seriously, a full bid is a state in which a stock has reached its highest price for the day (or close to it) and there are no offers to sell at that price. Likewise, a full offer is the opposite state, in which there are no buyers at the prevailing price and the price may have reached its lowest for the day. ![]() |
Ginalex:What truly matters is generating profits. Throughout the world, it's not the self-proclaimed "I told you so" that makes headlines but the remarkable accomplishment of multiplying one's wealth. What's your percentage return this year? Some individuals have discreetly doubled their money this year alone. Are you among them? Sharing investment tips is commendable, but excessive bragging is not. ![]() |

Yoast:Each CHN number is associated with an account domiciled with CSCS. Each account holds all the stocks you purchased with it. Therefore, if you have more than one CHN account holding your stocks, you will need to fill out separate e-dividend forms. However, if you registered with two brokers using the same CHN number, you will only need to fill out one e-dividend form. ![]() Common sense ![]() |
