I didn't want to put fear on you but to let you know the truth.
I bought mine purely for security! If you are looking for a pet dog, I will advice you to try another breed.
I am not saying that it cannot be used for a pet, but the aggressive instinct is always there and maybe suppressed.
Mine is playful with me many times, but when it commits an offence and I try to spank it boxed in a corner, it really shows its aggressive instinct.

so it is your choice to make.

Rott is a beautiful dog. Playful, funny, obedient, n can disturb to make u happy.

I disagree with you. all dogs play just like a rottie but when it comes to business, my brother take cover. I have a pure breed and at a point I have to cut its food and nutrients because it was getting too big for me to handle. It has bitten my gateman twice, and me once. It has rough handled my son once, though in the form of play but with teeth and pushing. it is Bigger than my 6 years old son when on its hind leg. My children have been barred from going downstairs when it is released. I don't want to hear stories that touch. It is purely for security and it should stay that way.
Planning to get a pure Doberman very soon.

One thing I know about Rottie is they hate surprises especially walking up to them from behind or at night.

He may be importing good dogs but I think that dog is not pure. I see more of Caucasian in it. Maybe one of the guy's Caucasian crossed his' GSD for sure.
The dog is beautiful though but for my rating as a gsd, I will give it 55%. Not more. because it is neither here nor there.

@IROYALKENNEL, I will be disappointed if you really own a kennel and you call this dog pure gsd. have you seen a gsd with this colour of fur before? The dog is good no doubt, but not pure.

Have a 1yr old pure male rottweiler and about 15months old Matured female St Bernard that will soon be on heat.

Try to bath with soap alone without sponge.
Make sure you use a very clean towel after bathing.
don't allow the water to get dried on your body b4 wiping off.

It doesn't go down to rottie owners alone but all dogs in general. Socialization goes a long way for d owner and d dogs themselves.

If you need a dog for security then why socialising it.
I don't socialise mine and I love it that way. It is meant for security and let it stays that way.
I have a st Bernard that is a pet, I socialised that.

He was raised with very little human interaction....he rarely got to know other people, my kid brother used to tie a spare tire to his collar and he ran around with it,making him incredibly strong, he has cut 2 collars, we now use cloth collars now, the attacks rarely exceed a minute before he is pulled off, but the results r devastating! The unlucky people wher outsiders that came to work in the compound, we lucky they didn't sue, but medical bills leave a deep hole in the pocket.

I will advise you get a cage for it and put it in it during the day. Love Rottweiler and mine is just getting to a year but still not too aggressive. I distance it entirely from visitors and even little children at home.

They are all rogues. I paid money to one quailbirdfarming in osun, gave me a driver's number that happens to be his own line forgetting that he has used the number to call me before. When I called the number, he now pretended as the driver, and later asked me to call a different number which I did and the assumed driver told me he is in Benin city. 3 hours time his' phone was switched off and I had to call the seller and he said he will find out for me what happened. called back and said the guy had an accident and was in the hospital unconscious.
I waited for about 2 weeks and called the number again using a different number to call and I found out that the guy with the number stays in the same state and he was not a driver. I told him someone call me with his' line and we got talking and it occurred to me that I have been fooled by them.

They should be exposed and bared from NL.

its body is not proportional to its head. it needs more feeding. They have a body and paws to take all the weight. feed it more often and you will surely have a lovely dog.
Do it before maturity else you might get something not too beautiful at adult.
