Romance / Re: Men Are Wicked by otawa: 9:21pm On Jun 01, 2010 |
but she said they are in love so I have to shut up my mouth in other not to interfere in their relationship, they’ve live together for five (5) years still yet he hasn’t propose to her it appears she went into the 'house' with aim of marriage. but was the guy also in tune with 'marriage' idea? see it this way; it is better he messed up her week than mess-up her life. the girl should never have moved into the guy's house, it's very likely that he pressurized her into doing so living with each other is not the problem. it is the objective of such co-habitation that matters. afterall living with each other allows character of each to come out like smoke from Joe Lasisi marijuana. |

Politics / Re: Thunder Kills Two In Ibadan. by otawa: 8:28pm On Jun 01, 2010 |
An eye witness, Sarafadeen Musibau, said that they were all at the open field recently allocated to the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) by the state government to serve as the new garage for the commercial vehicle operators when suddenly they heard the sound of the thunder. Thunder will strike the tallest object in that vicinity. What people should do is not run if the field is too open but lay flat on the ground. But the story seems fishy, the tree will naturally be taller than the men, if they were truly under the tree, this should have been striked by the thunder and not the men. all said, there would never be proper investigation to ensure such does not happen again. That is Nigeria for you. |
Crime / Re: Oba Beats Wife In Public! by otawa: 8:19pm On Jun 01, 2010 |

The oba’s subjects were aghast as they watched the show on Sunday evening. if confirmed true, the Oba has annoyed the Gods. We will be basing out future on a failed platform by working in line with failed and corrupt leaders,we have to root them out and make them pay for their crimes against humanity for there to be sanity. well said. Jonathan should start with his wife $2,000,000.00 case with EFCC |

Politics / Re: Ogun State Government May Go Bankrupt? by otawa: 8:01pm On May 31, 2010 |
When will Nigerians that pride themselves as 419 nation will finally smell how they are being 419ed by their RULERS This is a paradox, I still cant fathom. Daniel is a fraud. A 419. Just like the rest of them! What has he done in 7years that he now want to do in less than 12months. He simply need money to ensure that his FAMILY are made once he leaves in April 2011. He simply need money to ensure that his stooge will be Governor so he wont be running to Dubai like Ibori. |
Politics / Re: Why Can't Lagos And Ogun States Be Merged? by otawa: 7:50pm On May 31, 2010 |
1. Merging up the two state would half the recurrent expenditure of the two states and leave more money for capital projects. and ofcourse neglect of more communities. 2. The boundary between the two states have merged anyway in that most time you cannot tell if a boundary town is in Lagos or ogun, Examples are Agbara, Akute, Ogijo and Isheri, etc. this is no reason to merge. rather Ogun state should take advantage of that to grow. this will further reduce 'load' on Lagos 3. Lagos is too small (too narrow), the distance from the Atlantic to the northernmost boundary of lagos, i.e Odogunyan, Isheri or Alagbado is less than 40kms, and besides all these border Local government areas were taken from Ogun State. Lagos is not too small rather Lagos has too many people. It has 15million people. Norway is only 7million. 4. The people in border towns have the same sub ethnic grouping on both sides of the state, ie Ikorodus are Ijebus, while Alagbados are Egba. I guess Benin Republic should merge with Nigeria. 5. Merging them also would give Lagos the opportunity to create new maga city centres as the present ogun has lots of land instead of choking up the already scarce land available or spending billions reclaiming land from the Atlantic. Ok, so they should merge for benefit of Lagos? this is already dead on arrival 6. The new Lagos would have enough arable land to provide agriculture to feed the new mega cities.Another self serving. Why should the new name be Lagos if they merge. why cant it be Ogun? If two countries - East and West Germany could merge after being separate for more than 40 years, why can't Lagos and Ogun that had been separated for less than the same 40 years. You got this wrong. Please visit Berlin to under-stand that scenarios is way-off with Lagos and Ogun. Go again and read your history. Even Europe is gradually merging, why are we always going in the opposite direction? where is merging in Europe? having 'schengen area' is not same as merging that Ogun has to loose its identity for Lagos. How greatest problem is CORRUPTION which is an after effect of the fact that we hate ourself as AFRICANS. It is only people that self-hate, will still their family MONEY and go and give to neigbour to keep for them. |
Politics / Re: Is Diane Abbot Still Justified In Making A Comparison Between Jamaica & Nigeria? by otawa: 7:36pm On May 31, 2010 |
Diane Abbott famously compared Nigeria to Jamaica and suggested that Nigeria was a failed state. Considering current developments in Jamaica with failed attempts to extadite Dudus, was she speaking out of turn? This is one of the reason BLACK people are backward. Instead of them to work together and formulate strategies to better the lots of their people, they are busy comparing who is better than the other. |

But a friend, who was with her that evening, told the court the woman danced and kissed Mr. Fadayomi, boasting: 'I'm going to have his body tonight He should go and thank that WOMAN for being honest and thank his stars. Others were not so lucky. And dont got framed easily. A lesson for others, ask her to sign conset papers next time. Some of my friends shunned me and my parents in Nigeria were heartbroken and scared of what might happen to me.' and we should stick to our good friends no matter what. |

Its unfortunate some people lie against the dead one. Why didn't he (Alams) say this when Yar'Adua's was alive? What a liarer! tell us how did he escape from UK while Umaru Diko that was in Nigeria diplomatic luggage could not escape. I would rather believe Alarm than believe Mr Obasanjo. |
Politics / Re: Two-party Or Multi-party System, Which Way Forward Nigeria? by otawa: 6:27pm On May 26, 2010 |
The number of party is not the problem. The problem is we are multi-nation country. Each nation that makes up Nigeria will always want to be President since all power is concentrated at the center. |

Then finally, how can millions of jobless single women date and marry millions of equally jobless single men in Nigeria? very thoughtful posting. it invariably means many women would not have kids if they based this on one man, one wife ideology. we should look back and ask ourselves; how did our fore-elders managed to handle this situation. |

Romance / Re: Guys, Can You Marry A Circumcised Lady? by otawa: 7:40pm On May 25, 2010 |
Has it been proved that circumcised women don't enjoy intimacy? or is it the inability of seun and co to live up to expectation. When a circumcised woman is craving for more it only shows one thing>>>>> she is enjoying what she is receiving. well said. we seem to jump like 'dummies' on anything the WEST throw at us. |
