^^^^^if people from other nations have a better policy to get visas issued at that airport therefore they will have more chances than you. nothing to do with being Nigerian but all to do with rules and regualtions.
same shiiiiit happened to me once in Moscow Airport, no big deal! just accepted the situation, found me a bench and slept at the airport!

also if there was 300passengers but only 100 rooms available then the ones without transit visas would have been the loosing ones!

shocking.

Having no VISA is no excuse for them not to provide their customer comfortable lodging.

France is a bit big and cost of living varies widely, from Normandie to Provence to French Riveria etc

what is your aim of going to France?

answer to that would determine the advice to give you.

Nigerians are all over the world, I am sure there will be many more in the Big Apple.

I would be in New York, Midtown Manhattan from next week.

It would be nice to hook with Nigerians who are full blooded New Yorkers.

Holla, Cheers

There is nothing bad in investigating frudulent practices,if his guilty of any financial misappropriation,he should face the consequences,a business mogul or not.

A rogue business person is just as dangerous as a rogue politician

Politics / Re: Father's Land Vs Birth Land by otawa: 5:57pm On Jun 28, 2010
unfortunately for you the owners of the country that you claim to have been born and bred in do not see you as being one of them if they did you wouldnt have to struggle twice as hard to get half as much as the whites do - sad but true, therefore you can claim to be british born and bred but the harsh truth is that you remain black and alien in the white mans eyes.

God bless the child that has his own but God bless the child who is wise and doesnt shut his eyes to the truth

brilliant. unspoken respect.
Travel / Re: Milano. Anyone? by otawa: 5:42pm On Jun 28, 2010
Avoid the african lounges in Milan,  no idea why they always believe all Nigerians must be in drug buisness.

Milano tube is worst compare to UK, drivers wont stop for you in 'zebra-crossing' and certainly they hadly obey traffic light.

The Tram could do with new look,  old, dirty and abandoned.

http://frankmilano.net/ is surely recommeded for happy hour.

Bulgari is cool for lunch or relaxing evening,  a bit pricey but hey this is creme.

Via Borgospesso  has some real Milano based designer shops.

Finally dont miss to make a wish in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, some how this is famous for the Milanese.

And ofcourse enjoy a brunch at the Biffi.

I will surely visit again,  vibrant fashion city.
Politics / Re: Efcc Discovers World's Costliest Toilets by otawa: 5:19pm On Jun 28, 2010
Described as ‘imaginary’, the toilets, according to sources, were said to have been built at the cost of N10million each. What could not be established, however, is the number of such toilets alleged to have been built across the country

I am not surprised.

When Mr Obasanjo used $10billion to buy us darkness,

When Goodluck wife took $2million from Bayelsa state,

When Goodluck sign out $2billion to become acting president,

welcome to Nigeria, fools paradise.

What you should know is that most of these parents who steal / loot do it for the comfort of their children. So why won't their children share in their punishment. How many children have disowned their parents for looting?

You think God didn't know this before He said one's sin shall be visited on children's children.

Gbosa!!!!

We leave the kids alone if they are studing in 'ajegunle grammar school'

The deceased man was assigned to follow the arrested vehicle and the driver to the office to process his arrest.

Sports / Re: Africa Needs Local Coaches e.g. Kanu - Lagerback by otawa: 8:51pm On Jun 24, 2010
end of the day. It was a waste of money, time and energy.

if we have spent same money, energy, time just on 'Lagos to  Benin highway', we would save thousand of 'useless' deaths.

African Government should not get involved in football.

They should hand this over to private sector and concentrate on improving their people quality of life.

GJ is not the clown.

It is the 150million Nigerians who can do nothing against the people that's destroying their lives are the clowns.

For you to progress you must wipe-away the people that stops you.

That is how this world is made.

In 2015, I am sure will still be here hoping for miracle when you will reap only what you sow.

You cant plant cocoyam and get maize.
